The Theology Of Victimization
It's not my fault!

A saw a few commercials lately that have gotten my brain housing group kicked into high gear.

The first commercial was for a miracle diet pill. The hook went along these lines... stubborn belly fat is not your fault! The second one was for some get-out-of-debt-painlessly scam, and their hook was if your in credit card debt over $5,000, you are a victim!

As Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) said in Pulp Fiction, "this is what alcoholics call a 'moment of clarity'".

First off, I have stubborn belly fat because I shovel too damn much chow down my throat. Secondly, I have $5,000 in credit card debt because I spend too damn much money on superfluous bullshit that I don't really need.

Lent is a matter of hours away, and that got me to thinking. How many times have we heard huckster priests with their happy-happy joy-joy, I'm OK - your OK sermons? Too damn many... that's how many. Any shyster who dares preach that we mere humans are essentially good, simply doesn't know their basic theology. Sure, we strive to be good, but then that nasty old Original Sin rears it's ugly head. Face it, it's easy to be evil, it's tough to be holy. That's why we strive for holiness.

I've come to three basic truths that miracle diet pill manufacturers, scam artists, and Satan hate to hear;

1. Stubborn belly fat ~ my fault
2. Credit card debt ~ my fault
3. Sins on my Immortal Soul ~ my fault

...and don't let anyone tell ya different.

Abortion & Mental Health
The high price of baby killing

Any attempt to curtail, or regulate, or otherwise reduce the baby-killing in this country is immediately challenged by the pro-aborts because the law fails to include an exemption for the “health of the mother?” Even when it can be shown there is no danger to the mother’s health, the argument is “Oh, but it might damage her ‘mental health.’”

Well, a study has now been published by an honest, but pro-abortion, scientist that shows that abortion actually increases a woman’s mental health risk!

Let’s see how “honest” the mass media in this country will be about covering this story.
Why Latin? – Part 2
Our enemies hate it

In Liturgical Institutions (vol. 1, ch. IV, 184), Benedictine monk Dom Gueranger (1805-1875) spoke of the Latin language as a bane of liturgical heretics: "Hatred for the Latin language is inborn in the heart of all the enemies of Rome. They recognize it as the bond of Catholics throughout the universe, as the arsenal of orthodoxy against all the subtleties of the sectarian spirit…. We must admit it is a master-blow of Protestantism to have declared war on the sacred language. If it should ever succeed in destroying it, it would be well on the way to victory."

How long will it take the Church to back track on this wrong path it has chosen and regain the high road?

Human rights activist Bishop Thomas Gumbleton vows to maintain ministry

As for the church's teaching that homosexuals are "intrinsically disordered," Gumbleton said in the same interview, "I say to myself - if I were a father I couldn't say to my son or my daughter, 'you're disordered, intrinsically disordered.' That's a terrible thing to say about your child. And I just can't believe it's true."

Well Gumby... believe it.

As a part of his work promoting human rights, Gumbleton is also a member of the Triangle Foundation, as well as Catholic organizations that are attempting to work within the church to change the Vatican's policies of discrimination against homosexuals.

Minor Update On The UAE Takeover Of American Ports
Just a few small points to bring up

It was initially reported that UAE government owned Dubai Ports World was slated to take control of the container operations at New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Miami, and New Orleans. Six ports in all.

That's not quite correct.

According to the port-operations subsidiary of the London-based Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co. (P&O), DPW (Dubai Ports World) will pick up stevedore services at 12 East Coast ports including;
Portland, ME
Boston; MA
Davisville, RI
New York, NY
Newark, NJ
Philadelphia, PA
Camden, NJ
Wilmington, DE
Baltimore, MD
Newport News, VA
Norfolk, VA
Portsmouth, VA

Additionally, DPW will take over P&O stevedoring operations at nine ports along the Gulf of Mexico including:
Beaumont, TX
Port Arthur, TX
Galveston, TX
Houston, TX
Freeport, TX
Corpus Christi, TX
Lake Charles, LA
New Orleans, LA

P&O has recently contracted to operate terminals at the Port of Tampa for general and refrigerated cargo. This brings to 22 the total number of American ports where DPW will be acquiring P&O operations.

Like I said... just a minor update.
And What Are You Doing For Lent?
Dieting, Quitting Smoking Don’t Count

Have you ever heard of Fr. Tom Euteneuer? He’s the forty-something man of God who heads up the pro-life group Human Life International. Oh, and in case you wondered, he’s a Marine (Hey! This IS the Lair of the Catholic Caveman!) You might recall that it was Fr. Euteneuer who was such a force for the teaching of the Church, aka “life,” back while Terri Schiavo was being murdered. He was on Hannity & Colmes and even shut down Bill O’Reilly (the so-called Catholic).

Anyway, Fr. Euteneuer has written a great article on making Lent a challenge that I commend to your reading. Following are a couple of tidbits to whet your appetite.

The power-of-positive-thinking piety that emanates from most of our nation's pulpits each Lent does us a grave injustice. We must avoid the temptation to whitewash Lent by making it into a season to do "positive" deeds. That misses the point by a mile and keeps us in a state of spiritual adolescence.

Most people tend to think that self-denial is some sort of a program of self-improvement. Giving up vices like smoking and drinking may improve our day-to-day living, but then again, it may make us even more miserable to live with! This approach to Lent, however, is still so absorbed with the self. It mires us in a concern about conduct and personal habits but does not bring us to the deepest conversion that Jesus sought to effect when He said, "Reform your lives!" (Not your habits.) Habits change when hearts change.

Catholics Learn To Fight Back
I hope the Europeans are taking notes

No one likes reading of the riots and deaths in Nigeria, but at least Catholics are fighting back against the moslems. As reported by the Washington Post;

In northern Maiduguri, where the Christian Association of Nigeria says 50 Christians were killed in a weekend riot that began as a protest against cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, tensions were high during several Christian funerals.

A crowd of Christian youths broke away from the burial of one of the victims, a Catholic priest, and ran shouting through the streets before police dispersed them.

At Onitsha's ruined central mosque, one of two reportedly destroyed Tuesday, Ifeanyi Eze, 34, picked up a piece of charred wood and scrawled on a low wall: "Mohammad is a man but Jesus is from above." On the walls of the abandoned mosque, others had written: "No Mohammad, Jesus Christ is Lord."

Ifeanyi expressed amazement that cartoons published in Europe could set off violence in Africa. "This thing happened in Denmark," Ifeanyi said. "How could that be causing havoc in another part of Nigeria?"

Well, Ifeanyi, moslems don't need a reason... just an excuse.

And I'll admit it, the Washington Post doesn't exactly portray in the best light the Catholics that are fighting back... but hey, we're talking the Washington Post here. Oh, and in case I forget, I'd like to add that Catholics have been shit on for centuries in Nigeria by the moslems.

Anyone remember Biafra?

Yet More Classic Lines From The
"Religion Of Peace"
Over a cartoon??!!

Salah Al-Din TV in Iraq has their own version of "Life Is Worth Living with Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen". But the moslem version is seen preaching the following concerning the Danish people;

"Bring Your wrath down upon the heads of the people of Denmark, oh Allah. Bring Your full force down upon their heads, oh Allah. Make Your ground swallow them up, oh Allah. Send Your earthquakes upon them, oh Allah. Send Your hurricanes upon them, oh Allah. Erupt Your volcanoes upon them, oh Allah."

Anyhow, not to be outdone, Her Royal Highness, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark responded with the following to the unnamed imam;

"May the fleas of a thousand camels take up residence in your tukas region and also in the surrounding pubic foliage. May all your daughters have bacon breath. May all your "martyred" sons who blew up schoolchildren have the living shit kicked out of them for all eternity by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and the rest of the 72 Virginians that they will meet in the afterlife."

Ok... I made up the Queen Margrethe quote. But wouldn't it be great if she really said that?

Wempe Found Guilty on One Count
Not likely to serve much more time

A Los Angeles jury found former priest Michael Wempe guilty of one count of child molestation this week and hung on four others. Wempe was one of the priests with whom Archbishop Mahoney played “musical parishes” 20 years ago, even after being put on notice the man was a predator of young boys. Jason, the current victim was molested by Wempe between the ages of 11 and 15.

After years of denial, Wempe, 66, admitted last year to molesting 13 boys in the 1970s and '80s. Wempe’s unique defense in the case was “Yeah, I molested Jason’s two older brothers, but not Jason.” Of course, all the victims besides Jason – now 26 – were outside the statute of limitations, making Wempe immune from prosecution on those offenses.

Wempe faces a maximum of three years in prison but has already amassed a year in jail before the trial and is entitled to credit for that time. Under California’s “good time served” provisions, which rewards criminals for behaving in prison, Wempe may do no more than six months of additional time.
What President Bush Is...
...and what he isn't PART II

Just a wee bit of a follow-up to what I posted a couple of days ago. Seems I've got some reaction going concerning the selling of many major American ports to a state owned UAE company.

A Parable from the Book of the Caveman;

There once was a so-called priest (Father UAE, we'll call him) who ran a seminary. Father UAE openly endorsed not only homosexuality, but peadophilia as well. Shockingly enough, Father UAE was also in favor of rape by either instance. Father UAE went one step further and openly stated that homosexuality, peadophilia and rape were natural and normal.

Father UAE did what he could to ensure that homosexual "priests", peadophile "priests" and rapist "priests" were well funded. Father UAE also did everything in his power to propagate and advocate for homosexual, peadophile and rapist "priests". Even some of the seminarians that Father UAE was responsible for became open in their adherence to homosexual and peadohile rape.

Father UAE was very happy.

Then one day, something very bad happened. Some of those homosexual and paedophile "priests" that Father UAE was buddy-buddy with, were caught raping young men and boys. Lots of people were very unhappy.

The local bishop told Father UAE to cease doing everything in his power to advocate for the proliferation of homosexual and peadophile rapists. Quicker than you could say Smoke of satan, Father UAE agreed. Many unanswered questions... nary an admission of guilt, but nonetheless, Father UAE was now a "good guy".

A short time later (after the dust had settled) Father UAE was assigned to be responsible for at least 6 major Catholic youth organizations... in YOUR parish.
'Gospel of Judas' to Be Published
Will Mahoney write the Forward?

The first translation of an ancient, self-proclaimed "Gospel of Judas" will be published in late April, bringing to light what some scholars believe are the writings of an early Christian sect suppressed for supporting Jesus Christ's infamous betrayer (and who at least one Catholic is convinced is the predecessor of one-twelfth of the bishops). Monsignor Walter Brandmuller, president of the Vatican's Committee for Historical Science, called it "a product of religious fantasy."
Meningitis Scare Halts Both Species Communion
Well, if that’s what it takes

Bishop Michael Jarrell of the Diocese of Lafayette (La.) has decided that the Precious Blood will not be given from a shared cup at Mass "upon recommendation of expert medical advice given in light of the number of cases of bacterial meningitis."

Now if he’ll do something about Communion in the hand.

What President Bush Is...
...and what he isn't

Don't let people fool you. The President is far from being the Great Savior of Conservatism as many like to portray him. If anything, he's the King of Status Quo.

I voted for President Bush, twice. I've support him in the War On Terror. It pretty much ends there.

Remember the so-called "debates" between Bush and Gore? Hell, they agreed more than they disagreed. Subtly nuanced differences on most topics. Any wonder why Pat Buchanan refers to the Republicans and Democrats as RepubliCrats?

Bush has done zilch point squat when it comes to protecting our borders. Millions of illegals have flooded into this nation. And the only time Bush has done the slightest thing about it, is when it was politically expedient. News flash.... a nation that can't control it's own borders will never be able to control it's own destiny.

Bush now want's to sell seven American ports to a company from the UAE. Ummm... Mr President, only three nations on the face of the earth recognized the Taliban government of Afghanistan, and the UAE was one of them. Terrorist money has flowed through the UAE more than the oil pumped out of it's ground. Many are angry over the President's stance on this not because we're anti-Arab. More correctly, because this just doesn't pass the smell test. The only reason Bush is in favor of this is because he doesn't want to look bad on the Arab Street. Ummm... Mr President, most of them already hate us. Do you recall the shit-storm raised over a couple of cartoons? No matter what you do, the moslems will riot and burn things down and kill people. News flash... they don't need a reason, just an excuse.

I for one am sick of hearing about how he is such a God fearing, conservative, born-again Christian he is. Four simple words why I feel this way; Don't Ask, Don't Tell. If Bush really was a God fearing, conservative, born-again Christian, then he could revoke D.A.D.T. with the stroke of a pen... but he won't. Why? Simple, it isn't politically expedient.

PETA Sturgis Bound?
Put your money where your mouth is

Those punks over at PETA do a pretty good job of throwing blood on little old ladies who should happen to be wearing fur coats.

I wonder when those pencil-necked geeks will ever have the 'nads to throw some blood on THIS GUY for wearing leather. I kinda doubt it.

What's One British Historian Going To Do?
But let's not piss off those millions of moslems already here

British historian David Irving pleaded guilty Monday to denying the Holocaust and was sentenced to three years in prison, even after conceding he wrongly said there were no Nazi gas chambers at the Auschwitz concentration camp.

Said Irving "I made a mistake when I said there were no gas chambers at Auschwitz," Irving told the court before his sentencing, at which he faced up to 10 years in prison. He also expressed sorrow "for all the innocent people who died during the Second World War."

OK, I guess this is what passes for justice in the New And Improved Europe. I just wonder why none of these guys have been "brought to justice" by the E.U. as of yet?

Well, after all... what's ONE British historian going to do?

Even The satanists Got It Right
Gotta give credit where credit's due

The Catholics united under one Pope. The 36,000 (and growing by the day) fractured Protestant denominations. How does one come to a conclusion as to which "faction" is correct? One of the sure fire investigative procedures at coming to that conclusion is this; look to the enemy.

A few rhetorical questions;

1. In order to fully insult and mock God, do satanists try to steal consecrated Catholic Eucharist, or Protestant bread and grape juice?

2. In order to further insult and mock God, do satanists refer to their leaders as "preachers", "reverends"... or "priests"?

3. When was the last time you heard of satanists having a "Black Wednesday Night Worship Service"?

Think about it.

Remembering Our Bloodlines
Enough of the feminine Novus Ordo.

G. Thomas Fitzgerald over at Recta Ratio gives a much needed reminder of what Traditional Catholics would refer to as "The Good Old Days", and our Post-Vatican II brethren (or is it, sisters and brothers?) would call "The Unenlightened Pre-V2 Days".

Excellent gallery of paintings. Drop by for a visit. As G.T. says "If we are the Church Militant, we might as well be, well, militant". Makes sense to me.

Moslem Athletes Prepare For 2008 Olympics
On your mark... get set... BLOW!
or for our British friends
Ready... steady... BLOW!

(CNS Caveman News Service) - Spanning the moslem world from Morocco to Indonesia... from Stockholm to Toronto, moslem athletes are preparing for the upcoming 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

There has been just one minor snag. According to Sheik Yerbootie, the Sports Departmental Chairman of the Brotherhood Of Outraged Moslems, "we were informed by the IOC that they have authorized Islamo-Centric sports, such as Car Bombing; Flying Airplanes Into Buildings; Sending Someone Other Than Yourself Wearing A Bomb Belt Into A Crowded Marketplace And Blowing Themselves Up... you know, things we're good at. We really were looking forward to bringing home the gold in many of these events"

But the Sheik lamented "just when we taught the basics of these various sports to our athletes, they would end up being... umm... well... dead. We are simply beside ourselves trying to figure this one out."

A philosophical Yerbootie went on with "oh well, we've already petitioned the IOC to allow in Shooting Little Kids In The Back and Carving Peoples Heads Off as official events for the 2012 Games. And if they know what's good for them, the IOC had BETTER allow them!"

"Queer Eye For The Moslem Guy"
Or should we call it "Queer As Muhammad"

Professor Mike Adams of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington just smacked one outta the park.

Here's a taste of his open letter to the (taxpayer-funded) National Endowment of the Arts Chairman Dana Gioia;

I write to you today, not with a request, but with a demand. I’ve been sitting back patiently while the NEA has been promoting anti-Christian “art” for a number of years. In fact, one could say that I have been supporting it, too, given that my tax dollars have been spent on this garbage...

In the spirit of the “separation of church and state,” my demand is that you commission a painting – fully funded with tax dollars – that has one intention and one intention only: To offend Muslims everywhere.

For this painting, I want the artist to put the Prophet Muhammad in a pink bathrobe. I also want him holding a little toy poodle. Finally, I would like you to feature him reading a copy of “Playgirl” magazine. If you want to get daring, you can also feature him French-kissing Salmon Rushdie. Or better yet, feature him French-kissing Jacques Chirac.

Regardless of the precise form it takes, I want five million reproductions of the “Queer Muhammad” in poster form. It may sound like a large order for a first printing. But here’s what I intend to do with them:

I'm not going to post what Professor Adams wants done with said posters. You'll have to go to the site itself and read it for yourself. In a word... hilarious!

Way to go Professor Adams!!! Can I have a poster, too?

I'd STILL Rather Go Hunting With

Dick Cheney

Than Go Driving With

Ted Kennedy
The Bastard(ized) Roots Of Islam
It's all based on a lie

It sure does look like blowing stuff up and carving peoples heads off is ingrained in moslems. Well, why not? Islam is illegitimate... so why should the followers of such even bother to act legitimate (civilized)?

You see, the moslems claim that God's Covenant was with Abraham's first born son, Ismael. Never mind the small fact that said covenant was with Abraham's legitimate son, Isaac.

Abraham (Abram) had a legitimate wife, Sara (Sarai). Sara was of advanced age and could not conceive, but by the Power of God they had a son named Isaac. With Isaac, God proclaimed His Covenant.

Genesis 17:19 And God said to Abraham: Sara thy wife shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name Isaac, and I will establish my covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, and with his seed after him.

Now lets dig a little deeper. In the Old Testament, it was considered proper for a man to have concubines. And that's exactly what Abraham did. Years prior to Isaac being born, Sara gave her slave girl, Agar (Hagar) to Abraham as a concubine.

Genesis Chapter 16:1 Now Sarai the wife of Abram, had brought forth no children; but having a handmaid, an Egyptian, named Agar...

And they in turn, had Ismael. Even though Ismael was the 1st born, he was still considered the illegitimate son of Abraham (born of a concubine). Ismael was still loved, and would be a great leader... but he simply wasn't the one that God made His covenant with. Period.

Genesis chapter 17:19-21 And God said to Abraham: Sara thy wife shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name Isaac, and I will establish my covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, and with his seed after him. 20 And as for Ismael I have also heard thee. Behold, I will bless him, and increase, and multiply him exceedingly: he shall beget twelve chiefs, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sara shall bring forth to thee at this time in the next year.

Now here we have the moslems claiming legitimate claim to the Covenant, even though Sacred Scripture makes it clear that the Covenant was with the Father of the Israelites, Isaac. And as we all know, from Isaac came Mary. From Mary came Jesus.

So in a nut shell, there you have it. It simply couldn't be clearer. You can't argue with the obvious. The entire basis for islam is illegitimate... it's all a lie.

"Moderate Moslems" Are Just Like "Bigfoot"
Everyone's heard of them, but no one's really seen one

Stolen from FABbio, via Boortz

We wake up this morning to see video on CNN showing rampaging Muslims around the world. In Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim ... Muslim Mobs spreading mayhem. It seems that these mighty mad Muslims are rioting and firing their ever-present AK-47s into the air because of cartoons. Yup ... this latest epidemic of Muslim outrage comes to us because some newspapers in Norway and Denmark published some cartoons depicting Mohammed. In fact ... here is one of my favorites!

Admit it, this turban/bomb thing is "just right" and could be the next big fashion hit on the Muslim street!

Muslim outrage huh. OK ... let's do a little historical review. Just some lowlights:

Muslims fly commercial airliners into buildings in New York City. No Muslim outrage.

Muslim officials block the exit where school girls are trying to escape a burning building because their faces were exposed. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims cut off the heads of three teenaged girls on their way to school in Indonesia. A Catholic school. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder teachers in the new Iraq for trying to teach Muslim children subjects other than memorizing the Koran.. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder over 80 tourists with car bombs outside cafes and hotels in Egypt. No Muslim outrage.

A Muslim attacks a missionary children's school in India. Kills six children under the age of twelve. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims slaughter hundreds of children and teachers in Beslan, Russia. Muslims shoot children in the back. No Muslim outrage.

Let's go way back.

Muslims kidnap and kill athletes at the Munich Summer Olympics. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims hijack a TWA flight and to enforce their demands they shoot an unarmed U.S. sailor passenger and throw his body out on the tarmac. No outrage.

Muslims hijack a cruise ship and push a wheelchair bound elderly jewish man into the sea . No Muslim outrage.

Muslims blow up a Pan Am flight over Scotland killing hundreds. No outrage.

Muslims fire rocket-propelled grenades into schools full of children in Israel. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder more than 50 commuters in attacks on London subways and busses. Over 700 are injured. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims massacre dozens of innocents at a Passover Seder. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder innocent vacationers in Bali. No Muslim outrage.

Muslim newspapers publish anti-Christian and anti-Semitic cartoons. No Muslim outrage

Muslims are involved, on one side or the other, in almost every one of the 125+ shooting wars around the world. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims beat the charred bodies of Western civilians with their shoes, then hang them from a bridge. No Muslim outrage.

Newspapers in Denmark and Norway publish satirical cartoons depicting Mohammed . Muslims are outraged.

Dead children. Dead tourists. Dead teachers. Dead doctors and nurses. Death, destruction and mayhem around the world at the hands of Muslims .. no Muslim outrage ... but publish a cartoon depicting Mohammed with a bomb in his turban and all hell breaks loose.

Come on, is this really about cartoons? They're rampaging and burning flags. They're looking for Europeans to kidnap. They're threatening innkeepers and generally raising holy Muslim hell not because of any outrage over a cartoon. They're outraged because it is a basic part of the Islamic jihadist culture to be outraged. If you are Muslim you don't really need a reason. You just need an excuse. Wandering around, destroying property, murdering children, firing guns into the air and feigning outrage over the slightest perceived insult is to a jihadist what tailgating is to a Steeler's fan.

I have heard again and again these bloodthirsty murderers do not represent the majority of the world's Muslims. That may be true. When though, will this vast number of "peaceful" Muslims become outraged at the behavior of the jihadists? When will they take to the streets to express their outrage at the radicals who are making their religion the object of worldwide hatred and ridicule? Islamic writer Salman Rushdie wrote of these silent Muslims in a New York Times article three years ago. "As their ancient, deeply civilized culture of love, art and philosophical ref lection is hijacked by paranoiacs, racists, liars, male supremacists, tyrants, fanatics and violence junkies, why are they not screaming?"

Indeed. Why not?

Could it be that large numbers of peaceful Muslims are themselves too terrified of reprisals to speak up? Or could it be that the radicalization of Islamic culture is so far along that the silent Muslim majority secretly agrees with the jihadists but is unwilling to say so in public?

Why Latin?

As any regular lair visitor knows, the cavemen are in unapologetic agreement that the Latin Mass has a reverence, beauty, and ability to inspire that the most orthodox Novus Ordo Mass will never have. The former is oriented vertically to worship God; the latter is focused horizontally torward the community. However well-intentioned it might have been, the results of Vatican II have proven it has wrought havoc and the Novus Ordo is a prime disaster. The “New Mass” has led to innumerable abuses and has been a primary factor in the faithful losing their belief in the Real Presence.

A number of posts have asked “Why the Latin Mass?” or “What’s the big deal with Latin?” Well, I came across an article by Father Chad Ripperger, FSSP, that answers those questions quite well.

“...I went to Rome and attended the Mass in Italian. Had the Mass been in Latin according to the ancient rite, I would have felt right at home at Mass; instead, I was left with the impression that I was merely an onlooker from the outside. This is why Latin and a fixed ritual allow the Mass to have a universal appeal: one can attend it in every country, in every parish in the world and still feel right at home. While we may not understand the homily or sermon when we are in a foreign country, we can nevertheless enter into the ritual in the same depth and fervor that we can at our home parish. This also avoids the problem of people parish shopping, as it were, trying to find a priest whose choice of Mass options suits their own dispositions.

Latin also provides a form of self-denial by taking the translation of the ritual out of the hands of questionable agencies. Inclusive language is a classic example of what we have been describing: the desire of a small group to impose its spirituality on everyone else. The desire for inclusive language is a manifestation of the expectation that the ritual should conform to the group rather than vice versa. Latin undermines this idea because everyone, as Pope John XXXIII says in Veterum Sapentia, is equal before the Latin language. Latin forces a type of self-denial on us because we can not manipulate the language to our own ends. It also thwarts the inclination of the priest to ad lib, foisting his own personal disposition on those attending the Mass.”

This excerpt is from Father Ripperger’s article “The Spirituality of the Ancient Liturgy” in the Fall 2001 issue of Latin Mass magazine.
A Battle Royale In Rome?
In this corner, the Rumblin' Colombian, Cardinal Castrillion Hoyos! And in this corner, the Pummelin' Prefect, Cardinal Arinze!

On the 14th of Feb, we had this from Spero News; "Pope Benedict XVI confirmed his intention to find a rapid solution to the issue of the followers of monsignor Marcel Lefebvre, who seem willing to join back the Church."

Hmmm... Interesting. In the very same article, we see this;

Cardinal Arinze is quoted in that interview as saying that the Pope "cannot disown Vatican II in order to make the Lefebvrites happy. The pope cannot reinvent everything, or act as if Vatican II did not take place."

And on the very next day, we have this from EWTN; At a Monday meeting of the Roman Curia, Cardinal Dario Castrillon Hoyos presented a plan to regularize the status of the traditionalist Society of St. Pius X, according to informed sources...

At the February 13 meeting, Cardinal Castrillon-- the prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy, who was appointed by Pope John Paul II as the leading Vatican figure in discussions with the SSPX-- outlined a plan in which the excommunication would be lifted and the traditionalist group would receive canonical approval.

Hmmm... interesting. And in the very same article, we see this;

The plan met some resistance. Informed sources say that Cardinal Francis Arinze, the prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship, insisted that the SSPX should be required to acknowledge the validity of the documents of Vatican II and the post-conciliar liturgy. The traditionalist group insists on celebrating the old Latin Mass, but the Nigerian cardinal was cited as saying that SSPX priests should be expected to participate in Novus Ordo as well.

Now here's the part I find... to be completely honest... laughable;

Cardinal Arinze, sources reported, suggested that instead of a sweeping papal directive giving all priests the explicit right to use the Tridentine liturgy, the Holy See should issue a new document asking diocesan bishops to accommodate the desires of Catholics who prefer the Latin Mass. If the reports are accurate, it is not clear how the directive proposed by Cardinal Arinze's proposal would differ from the apostolic letter Ecclesia Dei, issued by Pope John Paul II, calling upon diocesan bishops to offer a "wide and generous application" of the papal indult allowing the use of the Tridentine rite.

Did ya catch that last sentence? Cardinal Arinze's solution? More of the same old tired garbage that got us in this morass to begin with. If I had to lay a wager, I'd bet that Cardinal Castrillon Hoyos is the one who has the ear of the Holy Father.
This Isn't The First Time
...and it won't be the last

Chris Gillibrand has a top notch posting in the Brussels Journal. Here's just a taste;

In 1938, Cardinal Innitzer realising his epic mistake in welcoming the Anschluss of Austria, preached a sermon in St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, "There is just one Fuehrer: Jesus Christ." His palace was trashed by the Nazis with the police slow, indifferent or looking on. The scene is dramatised in the famous film "The Shoes of the Fisherman". (side note; that scene was also in "The Cardinal")

A few years ago, I met a member of the Catholic Youth who participated in this Mass. On his way home, he greeted someone with "Long Live Our Archbishop" to show he was not a Nazi but a Christian and in consequence he spent the next six years in a concentration camp.

As I've asked in a recent post; Men of Europe, where are you? Or I guess that would more correctly be asked, Men of Europe, Quo Vadis?

Under The Heading Of We Have Met The Enemy, And They Are Us...

Another excellent posting on the same page was by "Michael in London";

Within the last 5 days, the leader of the British National Party was acquitted in a court of law over charges brought against him of incitement to violence concerning remarks he made at a private meeting, that "Islam is a vicious and wicked faith". The not-guilty verdict (and no-verdict) results have lead the British judiciary to seek a second trial, in the hope of gaining a conviction against him (try, try and try again?).

Two days later, five hundred muslims walked through the center of London, bearing banners calling for "Death to free speech", "Butcher those who insult Islam", "Behead unbelievers" and singing the praises of the July 7th 2005 suicide bombers who murdered 52 people in London (and calling for more suicide attacks in the city and Europe in general) (qv The Times, The Daily Telegraph). Many police were in attendence. Number of arrests: zero. People who complained about the inflamatory nature of the "pro terrorist" demonstration were pushed away by police.

Where Are The Sons Of Charlemagne?
Have they all died, or just in hiding?

My Perez ancestors from Andalusia, my Weithman ancestors from Bavaria, my O'Sweany ancestors from Donegal... they all call out to my European brothers for an answer; why are you quivering? Have you ceased to be men? Is it because of luxury and comfort that you have abandoned Christ and embraced Mammon?

Our African Brothers in Christ have proven their worth. Two million Catholics in The Sudan have died at the hand of the Lion of Satan. Many have been burned alive. Many have been crucified. Many have had spikes driven into their heads. Even unto death, they would not refute Christ. Many died, but many also stood and defended their wives, children, homes, and most importantly... Holy Mother The Church.

Many say that European Manhood is dead. Men of Europe, prove them wrong.

Many say that European Christianity is dead. Men of Europe, prove them wrong.

Many say that European men stand by and do nothing while their wives and daughters are violated. Men of Europe, prove them wrong.

Many say that European men stand by and do nothing while Holy Mother The Church is desecrated. Men of Europe, prove them wrong.

Do not resort to vigilantism . A firm backbone and a resolute heart will show the stern stuff you are made of. Bullies and thugs are by nature, cowards. Once the evil-doers see your courage and fortitude, they will slink back to their desert holes. A faint heart and weak will shall only embolden them.

Take up the Sword And Shield of St Michael. Place upon you the Armor of Christ. The Mantle of The Holy Mother will protect you.

My European brothers, the Lion of Satan is threatening once again. Vienna, Tours, Lepanto... Men of Europe have proven their worth in the past. To the Polish sons of King Jan Sobieski, to the Gallic sons of Charles Martel, to the Spanish sons of Don Juan of Austria, arise and defend your wives, children and homes! Above all, defend Holy Mother The Church.

CHRIST DEMANDS IT!

First rate post concerning the freeing of The Latin Mass, and status the Society of St. Pius X.
Just a little taste of what all was discussed;

-(1) A text on the remission of the canonical censures imposed on the four bishops consecrated by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and co-consecrated by Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer in 1988;

-(2) The parameters for a stable canonical structure for the bishops, priests, orders, and lay faithful attached to the Classical rites of the Latin Church (this structure would probably use some form included in the Code of Canon Law-CIC, but could in many details be defined by particular law, as allowed by the principles of canon law and by precedent);

-(3) A clear definition of the existence and limits (of a canonical or pastoral nature) of the rights of the priests of the Latin Church to celebrate the Mass and Sacraments according to the Ancient rites of the Latin Church.

The updates they put up on their posting was excellent as well. Maybe I'm getting getting ahead of myself... but I'm excited by what I read.

Cheney Shoots Hunting Companion
Did Victim Screw Up or Did VP have an AD?

Vice-president Cheney accidentally shot and wounded Harry Whittington, 78, an Austin lawyer, while quail hunting trip on the Texas ranch of Katharine Armstrong, former U.S. ambassador to Great Britain.

"Yep, it was your normal size birdshot shell, about this long."

Cheney sprayed Whittington on the right cheek, neck and chest with birdshot pellets after Whittington "came up from behind the vice-president and the other hunter and didn't signal them or indicate to them or announce himself" just as the VP was shooting at a covey of quail. Whittington was "alert and doing fine" in a Corpus Christi hospital Sunday night.

Regardless of who was at fault, the four rules of firearms safety can never be repeated enough:
1. All guns are always loaded.
2. Never (let the muzzle) cover anything you’re not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target and what’s beyond.

"Dick Cheney is one of the safest gunhandlers I've ever been with. I trust him to cover my back as much as I trust my Secret Service detail."

Remember When Sisters Stood Out From the World
Before Most Orders Abandoned the Habit

If you were lucky enough, like me, to have been taught by religious Sisters or are at least old enough to remember what religious Sisters were, you will recall that each order wore a unique religious habit. The habit was not only the “uniform” that added to their sense of community, it was also a marked symbol of how they were “in the world but not of the world.”

Well, there is a church supply company called Blessings that sells dolls in over 100 different religious habits. The bad news is they are going out of business. So, if you’d like to see what they have to offer, or maybe even copy and save the picture of the religious order nearest and dearest to your heart, or better yet, buy a "nun" doll, you only have a short while to do so.

Catholic Youth Riot In Eurabia

(Al-Jazeera) Londonibad, Islamic Republic of England - Amid chants of "Gloria in Excelsis Deo!", followers of the Prophet Jesus have rioted again for the ninth straight day in the Caliphate of Bavaria. Following the government ordered shutdown of the pagan Shrine Of St. Benedict XVI, papist troublemakers have clamored for a return to "the Christian roots of old Europe".

Inspector Abu Achmed Al-'Aziz of the Metropolitan Authority for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices, better known as the Morality Police, has stated that the situation is escalating despite his best efforts. "we've publicly beheaded hundreds and cut the hands off of twice that amount. But the number of infidel Jesus worshippers seem to grow larger by the day".

Inspector Aziz went on to say; "it's bad enough with the homegrown troublemakers, but all the illegal Catholic workers that sneak in here from central and southern Africa just make things worse. We've even had sporadic reports of illegal Mexican Catholics making their way here. Well, we do need the cheap labor."

The leader of the Jesus worshippers, the so-called Pope Marcel III, who is in hiding somewhere in the Sultanate of Rome issued the following statement; "Urged by necessity, I, Marcel, by the permission of God chief bishop and prelate over the whole world, have come with a divine admonition to you, the servants of God. I hoped to find you as faithful and as zealous in the service of God as I had supposed you to be. We must take back what was ours. We must never again become complacent. We must never again quiver at the roar of satan. We must take up the sword and shield of St. Michael and defend Holy Mother The Church. Gloria in Excelsis Deo!"

The Grand Mufti of Belgistan said today; "these Catholics breed like rabbits. If we don't get this situation under control quickly, we just may lose Eurabia one day."

Quote Of The Week
From Beware The Blog

After watching the LSD induced, spandex laden, Euro-Homo opening ceremonies for the Brokeback Olympics, Craig was heard to say; "This is gayer than when they had gay orgies at the Olympics."

So I'm not the only one that noticed all that damned disco music played during the Parade of Nations? Sheesh, would a little Foghat be too much to ask for? What... no Stairway?? DENIED!
Hey Europe...
The time is NOW!

From The Conservative Voice.

Muslim families have multiple children, and European families are failing to have babies at even replacement levels. Historian Bernard Lewis has predicted that Europe will be majority Muslim by the end of this century "at the very latest."

In Stockholm, Muslim teenagers can be seen wearing a T-shirt that says "2030 -- then we take over."

And You Brought Guns With You.... Why?
More news of the absurd

Going ape-shit over cartoons seems to be favorite past time for mohammedans nowadays. Something did catch my eye the other day, and I'll admit it... I blew it off until now.

Here's another run of the mill story of moslem shenanigans and high spirits (AKA rioting and killing), but take a gander at what was attributed to the President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai. He "expressed anger over the cartoons but said Danish troops and other citizens should feel safe in his country."

The average Danish citizen? Yeah... what President Karzai said makes sense. But the Danish troops?

Hey guys, I have a novel idea... if anyone starts throwing bricks at you, opens fire on you, lobs the odd mortar round at you, fires RPGs at you, etc, etc... take my advice. Shoot them. Shoot them a lot. Not any namby-pamby "warning shots" in the air either. Aim for center mass. If you have the opportunity; two to the chest, one to the head.

Anything less than will be perceived as a sign of weakness. I just hope your field commanders have the balls that your Queen has.
Should I Be Angry At The San Diego Padres?
Does that team name offend Catholics?

Elliot over at From Where I Sit has a first rate post concerning the PC Gestapo and their obsession with sports team names. Enjoy!
Justice Ginsburg and the Red Mass
A Closed Mind on the Supreme Court

Concurrent with the start the U.S. Supreme Court’s session on the first Monday in October, judges and lawyers, joined by public officials, and law school faculty and students, attend their local Red Mass to invoke divine guidance and strength during the coming term of Court.

The solemn Mass, celebrated annually at the opening of the judicial year, originated in Europe in the 13th century. The name began in England, where the celebrant wore red vestments and the Lord High justices were robed in brilliant scarlet. They were joined by the university professors with doctors among them displaying red in their academic gowns. The Red Mass has also been traditionally identified with opening of the Sacred Roman Rota, the supreme judicial body of the Catholic Church.

In this country, not only Catholic but also Protestant and Jewish members of the judiciary and legal profession attend the Mass.

Well, don’t expect to ever see Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsburg there.

That’s right, Ginsburg, the former card-carrying member of the American Civil Liberties Union, former general counsel for the ACLU, and a non-practicing Jew, won’t be back.

"Ginsburg used to attend the annual Red Mass, but then she had a bad experience: 'I went one year and I will never go again, because this sermon was outrageously anti-abortion.'”

Recall that during her Senate confirmation hearing, Hillary Clinton’s first nomination to the Supreme Court refused to answer any question about her views about abortion. No, she said, I can’t speculate about any subject that may come before me as a member of the Court.
Does anyone have a doubt how she would rule?

The Synod of Bishops, Vatican II, and the Traditional Latin Mass
By Brian Mershon, October 24, 2005

As the week wraps up, Catholics received a flurry of headlines from the Synod on the Eucharist in Rome. Also, toward the end of this week, Archbishop Chaput of Denver commented on the results of the Second Vatican Council being "mixed" to date. And finally, Cardinal Arinze mentioned in a news conference that the Traditional Latin Mass had not been mentioned by any of the Synod Fathers because it was "not a priority" for the Synod. He then went on to add the following amazing statement: "The problem we have discussed is that many people don't go to Mass, and those that come don't understand, they go to Communion but not to confession, as if they were immaculate."

I'm certain the Cardinal Prefect was not intentionally trying to be ironic in the positioning of those two statements. So the Bishops at the Synod discussed many things, but a common topic discussed was that many bishops' desired to "find a way" to have "intercommunion" with non-Catholics. The other major problems outlined above by Cardinal Arinze had to do with the lack of understanding or disbelief in the mysterium fidei of the Holy Eucharist. But amazingly, any discussion of the "Tridentine Mass," so-called, was "not a priority."And Vatican II talked about reading "the signs of the times" accurately.

Pope John Paul II issued a document on the state of the Church in Europe and called it an "apostasy." Archbishop Chaput stated that we must live our faith more boldly like St. Athanasius, who was exiled by many bishops, and actually excommunicated by the Pope in his day. Does this remind any traditional Catholics of any Archbishop they know? The Synod Fathers don't seem to be able to accurately gauge the cause of "the signs of the times" of their empty churches and few priestly vocations, but the Tridentine Mass is "not a priority" for the synod.Am I getting the facts right here? For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, let them hear.

For the two or three Sundays each month in which I am blessed to be able to attend the Traditional Latin Mass, I encounter very few who attend who lack belief in transubstantiation. I encounter very few who are receiving our Lord in a state of mortal sin or who consciously reject a dogma of the Faith, yet still receive Holy Communion. And at nearly every Traditional Latin Mass location I have attended around the United States, the priest is usually available for a set time ON SUNDAY prior to Holy Mass, to hear the confessions of the faithful, not at some extremely inconvenient time like 3 or 4 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. In other words, most priests who offer the Traditional Latin Mass, and most especially those who offer it exclusively, hear many confessions prior to every Mass they offer.

One Traditional Priest in Rockford, Illinois hears confessions for a set time EVERY DAY prior to Holy Mass, with one and one half hours of confession on Saturday afternoon, and another 45 minutes prior to his Sunday Mass. But the "Tridentine Mass" so-called, is "not a priority for the Synod," according to the Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments.

It is not well-publicized, but Kenneth Jones has written a book entitled: Index of Leading Catholic Indicators: The Church since Vatican II. In it, Mr. Jones emotionlessly statistically documents the precipitous decline of numbers of vocations to the priesthood, numbers of priests, numbers of Catholic schools, numbers of conversions, numbers of Catholics attending Catholic schools, numbers of baptisms, numbers of marriages in the Church, numbers of religious vocations in the U.S. prior to, and after, the Second Vatican Council, an objective and sobering, and quite frankly, depressing overview of the "signs of the times" for the U.S. Church.

The same decline can be seen across Western Europe as well, but at a more alarming rate. But one of our leading U.S. Bishops calls these sobering results regarding the legacy of the Second Vatican Council as "mixed." Pardon me for by brashness and boldness, but what would be considered a cataclysmal collapse? The entire Synod of the Eucharist has bishops decrying the lack of Faith in the Eucharist, which quite frankly, if the news reports are accurate, some of them display in their cry for "intercommunion" by heretics and schismatics. But the "Tridentine Mass" so-called, is "not a priority for the Synod" and 40 years after the close of the Second Vatican Council, one archbishop calls the nearly complete collapse of the Faith in the U.S. and Europe as "mixed."And the same cardinal prefect, not intending to be derogatory, but merely stating a fact, said: "The problem we have discussed is that many people don't go to Mass, and those that come don't understand, they go to Communion but not to confession, as if they were immaculate."

Priests who offer the Traditional Latin Mass have long lines for confession, and they hear confessions when it is convenient for people to go, when they are already at Church prior to Mass. Sheer ingenious rocket science! We have an apostasy in the Church among the vast majority of baptized Catholics, many priests, bishops and even cardinals. We have a Eucharistic Synod just completing where the major theme was about the collapse of belief in transubstantiation, the mysterium Fidei, the Holy Eucharist. But the "Tridentine mass" so-called, is "not a priority for the Synod."

For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, let them see and hear, and read the signs of the times.Pray for an end to communion in the hand and under the species of wine, where it is spilled and trampled under feet daily. Pray for a return to the normal reception (currently, the universal NORM in the entire Catholic Church) of Holy Communion kneeling. Pray for an end to the non-ordained administering the Holy Eucharist to the laity.Pray for reparation to be made against the sacrilege, outrage, indifference and irreverence shown to the Holy Eucharist and the Blessed Sacrament.Pray to Pope St. Pius X for the freeing of the Traditional Latin Mass to all Latin-rite priests on all the altars of the world on a daily basis. Pray for an end to the apostasy in the Church and for more courageous bishops to follow the leads of Archbishop Burke in St. Louis, Bishop Doran in Rockford, Illinois, and Bishop Bruskewitz in Lincoln, Nebraska, to give a "wide and generous" application of the Traditional Latin rite of Mass to their priests and laity. And most of all, pray for a truly heartfelt and humble reading of "the signs of the times" as the bishops close this year of the Holy Eucharist.
A Shared Sacrifice?
Not from what I've seen

I recently read that Price Harry is doing quite nicely at the British version of West Point, Sandhurst. The lad even said publicly; "There's no way I'm going to put myself through Sandhurst and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country". That boy's going to be one fine leader of men.

That got me thinking... I voted for President Bush. I support most of his policies. I remember right after the 9-11 attacks, the Prez said that the upcoming war would have to be a "shared sacrifice". I took his word for it that it would be just that... shared.

Let me back up some. Chuck Robb married LBJ's daughter during the Viet-Nam War. As a young Marine Officer, Robb could have nailed a cushy Pentagon job. But he didn't. He went back to 'Nam to be with his men.

Franklin Roosevelt made sure his sons joined up. They all served in combat as well. And his son, James, was the Commanding Officer for the 4th Marine Raider Battalion (the forerunner of today's Force Recon Bn. Not exactly a "safe" job).

Even a young Princess Elizabeth joined the British Army (Womens Auxiliary Territorial Service) and served as an Officer. Hmmm... the gal who KNOWS that she'll one day be the Queen of the entire British Empire actually joined up to be a mechanic and truck driver? Interesting.

OK, the history lesson is over. Now I want to know.... where the hell are the Bush kids?

If Prince Harry, the third in line to the British Throne will join the British Army's 1st Mechanized Brigade, which will be deployed to Basra in May 2007, then why can't either of the Bush daughters join up? It's a fair question. Queen Elizabeth did. Why can't the Bush girls?

While I'm at it... why aren't either of Jeb's sons, George P. and Jeb, Jr. in uniform? Why can't I ask these hard questions? After all, this is suppose to be a "shared sacrifice", right?

I'll be up front. I could give a Tinker's Damn less what Branch you're in or what job you do. Be you Active Duty, Reserves or National Guard... be you a Marine Gun Slinger, Air Force Intell bubba, Army MP, Navy Bos'uns Mate, Army Reserve Lawyer (like Justice Alito). Be you Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement... whatever, I don't care. You served, discussion over.

Just don't tell me that this is OUR fight, but don't get personally involved. Wow, that sounds a lot like Faith And Works, doesn't it?
PREVATII SPEAKS!!
Listen up, Pilgrims

Over the past forty years, how many times have we heard about the so called "vocations crisis?" Well, I have spent years researching this issue, and I have finally come to the answer. Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, here are the results of my research, and my answer to our bishops, cardinals and to Rome herself:

1. Get rid of the fags in the priesthood (at every level)!

2. Bring back the Traditional Latin Mass.

There you go. The only known way to once again re-energize the Faith, bring back real men to Holy Mother Church, and once again raise high the Cross & Sword.

Semper Fi-
PreVatII's Idea of Apologizing

So let me see if I fully understand the current situation: Since 9/11, the media, Hollywood, and even our President, has called Islam a "religion of peace." (No matter that Islam means "submission.")

Now due to some cartoons drawn of their prophet, Mohammad, the Islamic world is up in arms, rioting and killing. And as a reaction to all this, the media is apologizing for being so insensitive? I'm just a bit curious if anyone in our western media, Hollywood, the New York Times, BBC, NPR, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN or those on the Hill are planning on apologizing for those great "works of art" that depicted elephant dung on a painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a crucifix in a jar of urine, "The Last Temptation of Christ," historically inaccurate portrayals of Pius XII, John Paul II, and now Benedict XVI, etc, etc.

Of course, traditionalists like myself have been told time and again that we need to be tolerant of others, that I must respect others opinions, and that I need to stop being so narrow minded. I need to be sensitive to Muslim religious beliefs. OK, fair enough. But one would think that with 1.1 billion of us Catholics world wide, that we might rise up, rioting, maiming and killing. Would we be justified? (Not to worry. Most Catholics, since Vatican II, simply couldn't be bothered to get off the couch!)

So I'm thinking: Are we being sensitive enough to our brother Muslims?

My advice to the Dutch, French, and Canadians, and to the rest of Western Europe is actually very straight forward: "Best of luck with all of this. Hope it all works out for you." In the mean time, I'll watch the news, and continue to stock the ammo.
First, Cartoons. Now... WHAT!!??
You just can't make this stuff up

In the dark opening days of World War II, literally millions of American boys of German, Italian and Japanese ancestry answered their nations call to arms. The German and Italian boys had filthy stereotypes to overcome, and the Japanese boys had outright racism to overcome. And overcome it they all did. No bitching... no whining. They just fought for our country in a time of peril. Period.

Let's fast forward to the the dark opening days of the 9-11 attacks. Throngs of American boys of Arab ancestry have answered their nations call to arms. Wait... no they didn't. But all that is a different post for a different day. I'm just venting right now.

What really has me scratching my head is the latest moslem protest that may turn into a riot that may spread like wildfire through the entire moslem world. What is it that has the moslems wanting to cut my head off THIS TIME??

Kentucky Fried Chicken. That's right, KFC. You know... The Colonel, the dude in the white coat?

Here's a small example of the chants at the latest "I Hate America" bitch-fest;

Following are excerpts from a demonstration opposite a KFC restaurant in Damascus, aired on Al-Jazeera TV on January 28, 2006.
Crowd: This generation and the next are against America and Israel.

Oh, Arab, wherever you are - destroy the army of the Americans.

George Bush, listen, listen - the Arab people will not kneel down.

Beware, oh America - this darkness will not last for ever...

Neither Kentucky nor the dollar will enter the land of Syria.

Sheesh, OK moslems... what are you REALLY pissed off about? Too much conflict when it comes to choosing three sides? Or is it that a question between original or crispy recipe is somehow a violation of that fairey tale book you call the koran, or that it somehow offends mohammed the murderer?

Ummm.... could it really be that your gutter, bastardized "Religion of Peace" is in reality, anything but? I am starting to believe that a "Moderate Moslem" is like Bigfoot. We've all heard of it, but none of us have ever really seen one.

First, cartoons. Now, KFC. Hey sports fans... are ya starting to get the feeling that this REALLY IS a war of survival between islam and Christendom?

War On Terrorism Hits The Heartland
Rural law enforcement stretched thin. One bullet per man.

Mayberry, NC (CNS Caveman News Service) - Sheriff Andrew "Andy" Taylor nervously chain smokes one cigarette after another. "This was always such a peaceful little town". A long pull of the cigarette followed by a soft exhale. The Sheriff speaks almost in a whisper "things just ain't been the same since them Mujahadeen boys came down off the mountain".

Once thought to be an impossibility, an al-Qaeda sleeper cell has emerged in small-town America. "We had an idea that there might be some troublin' folk livin' up there ever since they built that long, skinny tower. Every single day, five times a day... the worst music you ever did hear just came a-blarin' from them loudspeakers. I know'd right off that it weren't Hank Williams" said Taylor.

An increase in broken windows has plagued the sleepy hamlet for the past three weeks. Taylor has admitted that local Sunni leader Ernest T. al-Bashar is 'a person of interest'. "He's a tough one. Organized, well trained, well funded. He's also the best rock thrower in the county".

Terror mastermind Ernest T. al-Bashar has released the following statement from his mountain hideout; "I'm gonna join me up with them al-Qaeda boys and get me a u-ni-form. Hup, two... tote the rifle, jump on the truck!". Al-Bashar is widely rumored not to have a hitch in his giddy-up.

Deputy Bernard P. Fife states "he's a nut!". The deputy also sumed up his thoughts on the situation; "Only two kinds of people will come out of this battle, the quick... or the dead". Sheriff Taylor then quickly added "Oh just shut-up, Barney. If you don't beat all".

Frightened citizens such as local barber, Floyd Lawson, is afraid to re-open his business. "Oh nooooooo, Ijustcouldn'tdothat. Toodangerous, toodangerous. Oh yeahhhhh".

A sleepy eyed Gomer Pyle, local dullard, was overheard to say "huh?"

Ringleader Otis Kameel remains in Guantanamo Bay awaiting charges. His "I'll just let myself out" plan discovered by Base Commander. Thwarted once keys were removed from the peg next to the cell door and placed in the top desk drawer.

In a related story, NBC is considering doing a series on "the sheriff who fights terrorism without a gun". As of yet, Law & Order: RFD is not on the Fall schedule.

Brokeback Oscars
Social engineering at its best

Yeah, yeah... it's almost Oscar time. And in all likelihood, more people will tune into the CMT documentary of the lost art of Country/Western yodeling than will actually watch the Oscars in their entirety.

But just a thought or two on the shoe-in for "Best Film Ever Made, Period" category, Brokeback Mountain.

1. Someone wiser than I pointed out that this flick isn't really so much a pro-homosexual film as it is an anti-marriage film. Two men abandon their wives and children to pursue sexual gratification with someone other than their wedded spouse. And these two men are, at a minimum, treated sympathetically. Or at a maximum, as heroes.

2. Brokeback Mountain is up for:
a. Performance by an actor in a leading role
b. Performance by an actor in a supporting role
c. Performance by an actress in a supporting role
d. Achievement in cinematography
e. Achievement in directing
f. Achievement in music written for motion pictures (Original score)
g. Best motion picture of the year
h. Adapted screenplay

3. The Chronicles of Narina is up for:
a. Achievement in makeup
b. Achievement in sound mixing
c. Achievement in visual effects

4. Oh, by the way, Brokeback Mountain has grossed $60,102,890. Narnia has grossed $281,934,379. Both films have been out for nine weeks.

5. Does anyone SERIOUSLY think that Brokeback Mountain would get 1/10 the buzz it's receiving if it were about a man and a woman who ran off together?

Half Pound Of Nouns, Please
More butchering of the English language

Nothing sets me climbing the walls quicker than someone slicing and dicing the English language. Case in point;

"I'm going to buy my wife some pointsettias." No stupid, what you want to get her are poinsettias.

"Let's go to the Starbucks and get some exspresso." Espresso is what my goombas suck down. Not "exspresso". Keep mispronouncing it, and Da Wiseguys will ensure that you'll get whacked, sleep with the fishes, take a dirt nap, excetera, excetera. Capice?

"He's such a talented athalete". Is that anything like an athlete? But in all fairness.... many athaletes do end up having really bad arthuritis.

"My dog needs to go to the veteranarian." Is that someone who heals animals and was a member of the U.S. Armed Forces?

And my all time favorite; "We're in trouble! Someone call the Calvary." *sigh* "Calvary" is where Christ was crucified... the Cavalry are those Army guys on horses.

Can anyone think of anymore?

Sunnis Turn On al-Qaeda
I sure hope the American media picks this one up

From the Times of London, an interesting little story concerning how the al-Qaeda terrorists have whacked a Sunni bigshot in Ramadi. Turns out that the Sunnis are the ones who have backed al-Zarqawi for some time now. But no more.

There is a hatred for Zarqawi in Ramadi now,” a resident said. “People are exhausted by what he has done. Six months ago he was still accepted, though not 100 per cent. Now we see him continue to target locals and their sons and kill our leaders, and we reject him totally.”

Well, well... looks as if the Sunnis have finally figured out that if one doesn't play exactly by al-Qaeda's rules, al-Qaeda will kill you.

Hey Zarqawi, have you ever heard the old American saying "don't bite the hand that feeds you"? Obviously not... dumb-ass.
The Key Word Here Is "Compromise"
Anyone else see that?

Lots of talk concerning the Regularization of the SSPX being dead in the water. Hold on sports fans... the only thing here that's dead is any rumors of compromise.

The Society has always held firm that the so-called "excommunications" not be lifted, but be declared null and void. Nothing new there.

The Society has held firm that the Mass of Pius V be freed. Nothing new there.

The Society has always held firm they the SSPX retain their own bishops. Nothing new there.

Now if Bishop Fellay actually did compromise on anything, now THAT would be newsworthy. The next few days, weeks, months (years?) will tell. In the meantime, one thing is undeniable; the pendulum is starting to swing the other way.

The Feast of SAINT Valentine
It’s a Catholic Saint’s Day

I don’t care what Hallmark says or how much the secular world tries to deny it, February 14th is Saint Valentine’s Day. Thinking they won this one, the same people are the ones trying to take Christ out of Christmas.

Can you imagine wishing someone a “Happy Patrick’s Day” on March 17th? It probably only because the Irish are the sons and daughters of a warrior nation (and two-fisted drinkers, besides) that has prevented the secularists from moving on Saint Paddy’s feast. At least so far.

So when you send or exchange commercial greeting cards this year, you may want to adopt the growing practice of inserting the word “Saint” or, simply, “St.” in front of “Valentine’s” on each one.

Wreckovation
Another Bad Fruit of Vat II

It was bad enough when the Vatican II modernists stopped building churches as “houses of God” with towers and spires that reached toward heaven and began constructing ugly buildings for their “faith communities.” Not satisfied with that, they started wasting more of their parishioners’ hard-earned money “wreckovating” the existing churches. Sadly, too many of these modernists were more than happy to join in plans to strip away the pre-Vatican II beauty of these sacred edifices. (Yeah, eliminate that vertical dimension of worship and bring in your flat ol’ horizontal, “see how great we are” version.) Case in point, Bishop (gag) Rembert (I-never-saw-a-male-package-I-didn’t-like) Weakland’s disgraceful vandalism of St. John’s cathedral in Milwaukee.

Well, recently, I had occasion to attend Mass at an old church that looked like a church from the outside. High on the walls, beautiful stained glassed windows memorialized a dozen or more saints. Inside, the magnificent high altar still stood alone and forlorn at the front of the sanctuary. Flanking it on either side were the pipes of a giant organ where, no doubt, Gregorian chant was once played. (There was none during my visit.) A simple altar now stood at the foot of the altar, spitting distance from the front pew.
I know with the attempted Protestantization of the Catholic Church by the Vat II hijackers, giant wading pools are being installed as baptismal fonts, but this was the first time I had ever seen pews torn out of the very center of the church to accommodate one of these fonts. Well, given the continuing decline in attendance at the “New Mass,” they probably don’t need the seating.
Right Back Atchya, Big Daddy!
I love Cut & Paste!

I like it when I find neat opinionated blogs.

I found an interesting one tonight I just read a bunch of and added it to my blogroll. Sometimes they take awhile to show up there, so just in case it hasn't yet when you read this entry here you go:

Maybe This Is Just The Cough Syrup Talkin'...
Remember that line from "Stripes"?

WARNING: The Caveman is heavily *medicated right now, and boy... is he pissed. If harsh language bothers you, you just may want to pass on this posting.

At the recent funeral for Coretta Scott King, Former Dip-Shit in Chief, Jimmy "What A Useless Turd" Carter said the following while President Bush looked on; "It was difficult for them then personally with the civil liberties of both husband and wife violated as they became the target of secret government wiretaps."

An obvious swipe at Bush's wiretapping of terrorists reaching out and touching someone here in The States. Ummm.... I would like to point out to that Southern Fried Asshole, Jimmy Carter, said wiretapping of King was during the John Kennedy Presidency, and said wiretapping was ordered by then Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

Am I correct when I think that those idiotic sons of bitches that cheered so hard that they damn near shit themselves when Cater said that, have NO IDEA that all that nasty wiretapping that happened to King was done by the Democrat version of Saints Peter and Paul?

This isn't a case of the blind leading the blind... it's more correctly the evil leading the unbelievably stupid.

U.S. Prepping For Iran Nuke Strike?
Nuke 'em 'till they glow, then shoot 'em in the dark

With Iran seemingly hell-bent on getting itself turned into the world's largest ashtray, America seems more than willing to oblige. I for one, would rather see us foment revolution from within in Iran. The anti-clerical faction (read: young people) appears to grow by the day. Yet alas, these things take time. And with apologies to Mick and the boys, time ain't on our side.

I for one have a gut feeling that once the Iranians have nukes, we'll also have mushroom clouds over Western cities. And in the vernacular of Today's Urban Youth... screw dat, yo.

Many moons ago, I was attached to a Marine Detachment aboard a particular naval vessel. I recall a Navy MT (Missile Tech) telling me that the warhead proper for a Polaris/Poseidon only weighed 180 lbs. Sheesh... two halfway fit guys could tote that around.

And yeah, I know that most of their nuke sites are underground, and that sure will be a bitch to take out. ... but oh, by the way, I remember about a year ago there was a minor sensation in the news about America working on a nuclear bunker buster. Then that particular story just evaporated. Kinda like what'll happen to Iran if they keep screwing around?
