What's One British Historian Going To Do?
But let's not piss off those millions of moslems already here
British historian David Irving pleaded guilty Monday to denying the Holocaust and was sentenced to three years in prison, even after conceding he wrongly said there were no Nazi gas chambers at the Auschwitz concentration camp.
Said Irving "I made a mistake when I said there were no gas chambers at Auschwitz," Irving told the court before his sentencing, at which he faced up to 10 years in prison. He also expressed sorrow "for all the innocent people who died during the Second World War."
OK, I guess this is what passes for justice in the New And Improved Europe. I just wonder why none of these guys have been "brought to justice" by the E.U. as of yet?
Well, after all... what's ONE British historian going to do?

This is what happens when free speech is superseded by PC idiocy. Is Irving a fool for expressing his views? Yes. But instead of incarcerating him, one could either (a) ignore him as a complete crank, or (b) prove to the world how wrong he is.
And it's a lot easier to lock up an elderly, bookish Holocaust denier than it is to lock up a horde of young and violent Holocaust deniers...
