One "Religion" Is Just As Good As The Other...
Right?

This is an amazing article from Catholic News. I ask you read the whole thing. The convert interviews has summed up just how badly religious indifference has infected The Church; (Emphasis and comments mine) Muslim convert to Catholicism tells pope Islam is not inherently good
By Cindy Wooden
Catholic News Service

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- The Muslim-born journalist baptized by Pope Benedict XVI at Easter asked the pope to tell his top aide for relations with Muslims that Islam is not an intrinsically good religion and that Islamic terrorism is not the result of a minority gone astray.

As the Vatican was preparing to host the first meeting of the Catholic-Muslim Forum Nov. 4-6, Magdi Allam, a longtime critic of the Muslim faith of his parents, issued an open letter to Pope Benedict that included criticism of Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, president of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

In the letter, posted on his Web site Oct. 20, Allam said he wanted to tell the pope of his concern for "the serious religious and ethical straying that has infiltrated and spread within the heart of the church."

He told the pope that it "is vital for the common good of the Catholic Church, the general interest of Christianity and of Western civilization itself" that the pope make a pronouncement in "a clear and binding way" on the question of whether Islam is a valid religion.

The Catholic Church's dialogue with Islam is based on the Second Vatican Council's Declaration on the Relationship of the Church to Non-Christian Religions ("Nostra Aetate"), which urged esteem for Muslims because "they adore the one God," strive to follow his will, recognize Jesus as a prophet, honor his mother, Mary, "value the moral life and worship God especially through prayer, almsgiving and fasting."
(Actually, the line "they adore the one God" is misleading. The correct teaching of The Church towards the moslems is that they "acknowledge the Creator" and that they "profess and hold the faith of Abraham". But let's not forget that they also deny the divinity of Christ, and the complete existence of The Holy Ghost. So no... we don't worship "the same God" as the moslems. Oh, and by the way, Nostra Aetate is not a dogmatic pronouncement, nor is it binding under pain of sin.)

The council called on Catholics and Muslims "to work sincerely for mutual understanding" and for social justice, moral values, peace and freedom.

Allam told Pope Benedict he specifically objected to Cardinal Tauran telling a conference in August that Islam itself promotes peace but that "'some believers' have 'betrayed their faith,'" using it as a pretext for violence.

"The objective reality, I tell you with all sincerity and animated by a constructive intent, is exactly the opposite of what Cardinal Tauran imagines," Allam told the pope. "Islamic extremism and terrorism are the mature fruit" of following "the sayings of the Quran and the thought and action of Mohammed."

Allam said he was writing with the "deference of a sincere believer" in Christianity and as a "strenuous protagonist, witness and builder of Christian civilization."

After Pope Benedict baptized Allam March 22 during the Easter Vigil and Allam used his newspaper column and interviews to condemn Islam, the Vatican spokesman, Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, said that when the Catholic Church welcomes a new member it does not mean it accepts his opinions on every subject. (Magdi Allam has officially been thrown under the bus.)

Baptism is a recognition that the person entering the church "has freely and sincerely accepted the Christian faith in its fundamental articles" as expressed in the creed, Father Lombardi had said.

"Of course, believers are free to maintain their own ideas on a vast range of questions and problems on which legitimate pluralism exists among Christians," he said
. (Does that also include Magdi Allam's assertion that islam in evil?)

Isn't This What A Shepherd Is SUPPOSE To Do?
Pope Pius XII, Ora Pro Nobis

How many members of the USCCB do you think would risk imprisonment in a death camp, or even death itself, to defend innocent life? I think we all know the answer to that.

When you read this, remember that many of us, even though we were probably babies, were alive during the pontificate of Pope Pius XII.

In one generation, we've gone from someone who talked little but did much, to those who talk much, but do little. In one generation, we've gone from a cleric who would risk torture and death, to clerics who don't even have the backbone to PERSONALLY refuse Holy Communion to baby-killing politicians.

In just one generation...

Here's just a little from the article from Forbes.com; Rehabilitating Pope Pius XII

...One-third of the Catholic clergy were killed during the war. The pope himself was manifestly under threat. As top German official Albrecht von Kessel said about the planned deportation of Roman Jewry: "If the pope were to oppose this measure, there was even a possibility that he would be killed while trying to escape." Yet he did oppose it, but he did so through diplomatic back-channels, as he did much else--because he had to.
Keep in mind that Pope Pius XII knew fully well that the Nazis had the following planned out and almost set into motion (from The Weekly Standard via Columbia University; Pius XII and the Jews

Still, Pius XII was "ready to let himself be deported to a concentration camp, rather than do anything against his conscience," Mussolini's foreign minister railed. Hitler spoke openly of entering the Vatican to "pack up that whole whoring rabble," and
Pius knew of the various Nazi plans to kidnap him.

Again, the most eloquent testimony is the Nazis' own. Fascist documents published in 1998 (and summarized in Marchione's Pope Pius XII) speak of a German plan, dubbed "Rabat-Fohn," to be executed in January 1944. The plan called for the eighth division of the SS cavalry, disguised as Italians, to seize St. Peter's and "massacre Pius XII with the entire Vatican”—and specifically names "the papal protest in favor of the Jews" as the cause.
In just one generation. When did we get such wimps as leaders?

Back To The Future, Catholic Style
Or have we just gone full circle?

A couple of articles today jumped off the screen and screamed at me. Now I'll let them scream at you. The first is from CatholicCulture.org. Here's just a very small snippet of the article; (The headline and the last sentence pretty much says it all) American bishops' compromise stand on political issues is breaking down

For years the US bishops have sidestepped public disputes on political issues by crafting statements that will barely satisfy both sides. Now that compromise is breaking down.
Then we have an article from The Los Angeles Times, where the headline and a few of the last sentences pretty much say it all; The end of the Catholic vote
Obama's lead among Catholic voters may signal a profound shift.

There's also a profound demographic shift occurring in this sector. Nearly one-third of all American Catholics now are Latinos, as are more than 50% of all Catholics under 40. They have broken overwhelmingly for Obama because of his stands on the economy and immigration. (Shades of the 1840s.)

What all this suggests is that, in this and coming election cycles, we may see a new model for the Catholic vote... 75% of whom are overwhelmingly pro-Democratic, while a devout minority, the Orthodox, tends more strongly Republican... According to most reliable data, slightly less than one in four Catholics now assist at weekly Mass and are more open to GOP policies, while the overwhelming majority of their co-religionists have cast their lot with the Democrats' domestic and foreign policies.

In other words, back to the future.
Now here's how the two articles tie together --

The first article points out the glaringly obvious. Weak-kneed and lukewarm "leaders" have led us down a path of destruction and desolation, all the while singing of a false Springtime of The Church that never really existed. Unless one considers neo-Protestantism "a new springtime".

Even though the staff writer for the LA Times doesn't even realize it himself, he's pointed out that we can all forget about what the census cards say... the real number of Catholics who actually follow and adhere to what The Church teaches is really a very, very small percentage of the American populace (just like back in the 1840's.)

So instead of being a powerhouse for God, thanks to the moral and theoligical cowardice of the USCCB and what they have fed Catholics for almost half a century, we've essentially found ourselves right back in the 1840's.

Thanks, USCCB. This must be that "Springtime" shit I've been hearing about for so long.

And Just What Do You Think Will Happen To Him?
How about a big ol' heapin' helpin' of not a damn thing?

With the requisite WARNING! Harsh language alert!! Yeah, I'm pretty pissed.

Here's some of the article from LifeNews.com; (Emphasis mine) Joe Biden's Bishop: He's Wrong on Catholic Church and Abortion Teaching
by Steven Ertelt

Wilmington, DE (LifeNews.com) -- Joe Biden's own bishop has had to correct the pro-abortion vice-presidential candidate again on his misstating the pro-life teachings of the Catholic Church. In an interview last week, Biden claimed Catholics can support abortion and he understated the far-reaching effects of the Roe v. Wade decision.

In the interview with the Delaware News Journal, Biden continued to misrepresent the position of the Catholic Church on abortion in a way that has gotten him in trouble recently.
(No, "getting in trouble" implies consequences. Not a damn thing's going to happen to Biden. At least not by any member of the USCCB. But then again... there's always eternal hell. but then THEN again, when was the last time anyone heard of hell being preached about at a Novus Ordo parish?)

"But throughout the church's history, we've argued between whether or not it is wrong in every circumstance and the degree of wrong. Catholics have this notion, it's almost a gradation," Biden claimed. Not so says Rev. W. Francis Malooly, the bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington.

He writes in a new letter to the editor that Biden "presents a seriously erroneous picture of Catholic teaching on abortion." (Ohhhh.... nothing says I'm Gonna Put My Foot Up Your Ass like a letter to the editor!)

"This is simply incorrect," he says of Biden's interpretation. "The teaching of the Church is clear and not open to debate. Abortion is a grave sin because it is the wrongful taking of an innocent human life." (All sin is "grave". Does me mean mortal sin? *sniff, sniff* Anyone else smell the unmistakable stench of The "Spirit" of Vatican II?)

Malooly calls on Biden to change his views on abortion and to conform to the pro-life teachings of the church. He said all "statesmen and politicians" should be courageous and effective in their defense and promotion of the sanctity of human life." (Did you catch that? Biden was "called on". Has anyone found a donor for his testicle transplant, yet?)

"We hope Sen. Biden will carefully listen to the Church’s 2,000 years of testimony on abortion and that he will join in the defense and promotion of the sanctity of life," he concluded. (Dear Bishop Malooly, hope in one hand... shit in the other. See which one gets filled first. How 'bout cutting through the bullshit and just excommunicate this baby-killer?)

"Catholics For Obama" -- At A Catholic School?
And we wonder why most Catholic youth favor abortion

The following e-mail was sent to me yesterday; (Emphasis mine) Kevin,
My 12 year old neighbor (who is Catholic & attends St. Mary's School) came by today to play with my kids. He had an Obama symbol painted on his face. When I asked him about it, he further explained that today was the St. Mary's Fall Festival. At the festival they were face painting & were painting Obama symbols on many peoples faces........
If this were an isolated case, it might be chalked up to a mis-understanding. But to those that frequent The Lair, I'm sure the goings on at St. Mary's come as no surprise.

Past posting here, here, here, and here. (The last one is my personal favorite. All about how Christmas is "imperfect".)

Interesting Goings On In The Diocese Of Raleigh
Hope for Traditionalists?

Isn't it kind of crazy to spend 4 hours driving time for an hour and a half High Mass? Yeah... but it's worth it.

And maybe, just maybe, the treks are coming to an end. You see, it was announced at Mass Sunday that our parish priest, Fr. Parkerson, has been given the additional responsibility as the bishop's official "delegate" for all things Traditional in keeping with Summorum Pontificum.

I'm not sure what all the in's and out's are as of yet, but from my understanding, Father Parkerson is essentially His Excellency's point man on all things SP.

Could this be light at the end of the tunnel? I just hope it isn't a train bearing down on us.

The track record of SP in the Cape Fear Deanery has been (shall I say) "confusing" at best. We had one priest who celebrated the TLM every Sunday... after 2 weeks of that, he was transferred to the other side of the diocese. A few months later, we had a different priest here who celebrated the TLM every fourth Sunday, as well as every Wednesday evening. That lasted for a handful of months, then he got transferred.

In the meantime, we "Latin Massers" have had the predictable responses from the well-entrenched non- (and sometimes anti-) Traditional Mass clerics here in this particular Deanery. The words "screw" and "you" come to mind.

So we Traddies, literally from ages 9 - 90, will continue to drive I-40 and country roads to make it to Sacred Heart for Mass. Hey, I should consider myself lucky. I only had to dodge a head-on collision (at 60 MPH) JUST ONCE, and swerved out of the way of being sideswiped on the interstate (at 75 MPH) JUST ONCE yesterday. My defensive driving skills and sense of self-preservation amaze me.

*Sigh* Maybe when someone gets killed, that will be the catalyst for the artificial shortage of TLM trained priest(s) in this Deanery to come to an end.

Common Sense From The Great White North
And don't forget to click on the link proving The South-Side Stooge was a memeber of the Socialist "New Party"

Fascinating article from Canada Free Press. Here's some of it; (Emphasis mine) The Terrorist Attack of 2010
By Selwyn Duke

The date is November 9, 2010, and you turn on the radio to listen to the news over morning coffee. Economic times have been tough, and you’re not expecting much to uplift the soul. Yet, what you hear still makes your blood run cold.

Nuclear devices have been detonated almost simultaneously in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. Tens of thousands are dead or dying, and millions more are being evacuated, owing to radioactive contamination that will now make huge swaths of the cities uninhabitable.

President Obama is currently on the air addressing the nation. Everything he says sounds reassuring and mellifluous, just like it always does, just like it always has. Right now he is talking about the emergency response and government efforts to help the victims and apprehend the perpetrators. He speaks of how we must pray for our fellow Americans.

More information will be forthcoming, and we will see his calm countenance on TV and hear his resonant, composed voice again. Of that you can be sure.

But there is something he won’t tell us.

There is something he will never tell us.

You see, when the government investigation is complete, they will know that many of those responsible for the carnage were illegal aliens, just like some of the 9/11 terrorists. They will also know something else.

Just like 13 of the 19 9/11 terrorists, many of these illegal aliens had driver’s licenses, which lent them credibility and eased their transit throughout the land they aimed to destroy (9/11 mastermind Mohamed Atta was stopped by a traffic cop but not detained because he presented a valid driver’s license).

President Obama knows all this well, but he also has a very good reason to be mum.

He supported the policy of providing driver’s licenses for illegals.

He used the issue against Senator Hillary Clinton – who had wavered on the matter – in early 2008, sending a clear message that to him it was more important to capture Latino votes than terrorists. Yet he didn’t abandon the policy as an election-time artifice upon taking the oath of office, and no one should have expected he would. He had always advocated the granting of illegals driver’s licenses – even when he was a state senator in Illinois.

Of course, this information about the president’s irresponsibility and negligence prior to the worst attack ever on American soil will be out there, somewhere. It will be found on the Internet in various places, and some minority of the population will read it, after which a minority of them will promptly forget it. Regardless, we all know what those people are, anyway. They’re the nuts who talk about crazy things no sane person who reads the New York Times (whose building on 8th Avenue was, ironically, destroyed) would ever hear about.

Oh, the mainstream media will provide certain bare, disconnected facts, as they always do. They will mention that some of the attackers were illegals, and they will mention that some of the attackers had driver’s licenses. They will even sometimes mention both together. But the majority of the citizenry has never been very good at connecting the dots on its own. Thus, a responsible and conscientious media must present facts in a sequential, comprehensive way; they must weave together a tapestry of truth so appealing to reason and display it in the shop window of ideas so often that it comes to furnish the American mind. As the old saying goes, “Repetition is the branding iron of knowledge”; without the still-powerful mainstream media incessantly beating a drum, the tune doesn’t get stuck in too many heads.

They certainly applied this principle when they made Obama a king, nay, a messiah, and former President Bush a pariah. For the Hated One, the incessant chant was, in so many words, “Bush lied and people died,” sung to the accompaniment of gratuitously negative reportage about the Iraq War. For the Chosen One, it was the melodious tune, “Change, Unity and Hope,” sung at a volume that drowned out background noise about Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Antoin Rezko, the nuts with ACORN and
Obama’s membership in the socialist New Party. The media took a mediocre man with flash and dazzle and made him the country’s “greatest” president and a mediocre president with fumbling and fizzle and made him the country’s worst man.

The Terrorist Attack of 2010 is just one possible future. With the power of the vote, many kinds of change are indeed possible. Let’s just hope it’s not the kind of change Barack Obama – and illegal aliens – believe in.

No Longer Hidden In The Catecombs
Last gasp of the Neo-Anglicans?

Great news from my hometown. And this from one of the more theologically liberal, anti-Traditional diocese in America. Here's some of the article from The California Catholic Daily; “Waiting for this for years”
San Diego bishop erects Latin Mass parish, anyone in diocese may join

After a 23-year-wait, the Latin Mass community of San Diego now has its own parish.

On Oct. 7, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, San Diego Bishop Robert Brom officially erected St. Anne Church at 621 Sicard St. as a “personal parish” for Catholics in the diocese who prefer the extraordinary form of the Mass in Latin. A “personal parish” has no geographical boundaries, which means any Catholic living in the diocese may join.

Bishop Brom turned over the parish to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP), a society of apostolic life approved in 1988 by Pope John Paul II specifically dedicated to continued use of the extraordinary form of the Roman Rite – also known as the Latin or Tridentine Mass.

“They’ve been waiting for this for years and years and years,” said Fr. Carl Gismondi, the new FSSP pastor at St. Anne. Before Bishop Brom elevated the Latin Mass community to parish status, it had been meeting since 1985 at the chapel of Holy Cross Cemetery as the only episcopally-authorized Tridentine Latin Mass congregation in San Diego.

The arrival of the Latin Mass parish to St. Anne brings new life to the parish, which had been merged with nearby Our Lady of Guadalupe parish and served only as a mission church until finally being closed altogether.

Fr. Gismondi, who resides in the parish’s four-bedroom rectory, says the old church “needs work.” For example, he said, a marble altar from 1942 was moved away from the wall of the sanctuary in the 1970s, and needs to be moved back to its original location. And there are a variety of other problems common to an older structure, “like termites,” he said.

During the six weeks he was been pastor at St. Anne, the 225-person capacity sanctuary has been close to full during Sunday Masses, said Fr. Gismondi. He estimated that between 300-400 people attend Sunday Mass there.
Like I said, this is in a diocese where the TLM was openly sneered at for decades. The little seed that was planted at a termite infested "second thought" of a closed down parish literally will be a beacon of light in a sea of heresy and Modernism. Anyone who doubts me, obviously hasn't been to your average San Diego Nervous Disorder parish.

But here's the $64,000 question (and this pertains to Catholics world-wide) --- the Diocese of San Diego is geographically huge. From the coast all the way to the Arizona line, and almost a hundred miles from north to south. What happens when Catholics from El Centro or Borrego Springs or Fallbrook, or other towns within the diocese that are literally hours and hours away from St. Anne's, what if they (per Summorum Pontificum) are desirous of a Traditional Latin Mass in their neighborhood parish?

By the way... St. Anne's is in a pretty "rough neigborhood". Why am I not shocked that a TLM Parish wasn't established in La Jolla or Rancho Santa Fe? But that's OK. I get the funny feeling that the good folks in South Central San Diego (like most folks who don't have much) will appriciate St. Anne's a damn sight more than the rich snobs in La Jolla.

Anyhow, is it going to be a case of Tango Sierra for Traddies? Maybe not if the rumblings concerning the "clarification" in regards to Summorum Pontificum are true.

Here's some of the article from Rorate Caeli; According to the document, the traditionalist faithful present in a parish will have the full protection of the law to ask for the old Mass, and if the bishop refuses (here is the news), saying that there are no priests capable of celebrating according to the ancient rite in that place, the Commission Ecclesia Dei will authoritatively ("di imperio") send a priest able to do so to that diocese. In short, the bishops will no longer be able to refuse a priori to have the old Mass celebrated, because in such cases, the Commission Ecclesia Dei will send a delegated priest of its own.SLAM!!!

They -- Just -- Don't -- GET IT!!
10 years late and a billion dollars short

WARNING!! Harsh language alert. No punches pulled on this post.

The headline from the Dallas Morning News says it all, "Cardinal and bishop say Catholics should look to official church teachings on abortion".

What in the world makes Justin Cardinal Rigali and Bishop William Murphy think for a moment that most Catholics give a rat's ass what they or The Church say? What planet are these two on?

Hell, just drive through the parking lot of your garden variety Novus Ordo Self-Worshiptourium and check out all the Obama/Biden '08 bumper stickers. Read for yourself the latest headlines with stories concerning "Catholics For Obama" organizations mutating to life hand-over-fist. Research for yourself how the overwhelming majority of the 300+ member USCCB are sitting on their hands and ain't sayin' shit about defending un-born human life... especially during this election cycle.

But here's the main reason why most Catholics could give a shit less what the hierarchy says about "official Church teaching" - the Catholic honchos did zilch point shit (0.Feces) for YEARS when faggots in Roman Collars were screwing everything, both pre and post-pubescent, that had a set of testicles attached to it.

No... I take that back. Most of our fearless leaders didn't simply "do nothing". Most protected the wolves as they ravaged the lambs. Don't believe me? Click here.

So to Cardinal Rigali and Bishop Murphy, sorry guys. Whatever moral authority you and your brother bishops had, was absolutely and utterly pissed away years ago. But now you want Catholics to fall in line just because you point to Church Teaching? Simply put - talk is cheap. Put up or shut up.

Under the stack of "Social Justice" bullshit, I'm sure there are a few really, really old writs of excommunication just dying to be filled out.

What A Difference 143 Days Make
3,432 little hours

As I've posted about in the past (helmet tip to Former Altar Boy, by the way), from the moment The South-Side Stooge was sworn in as a US Senator, until he launched his Presidential Exploratory Committee, a grand total of 143 days of actual work in the US Senate had elapsed.

I've heard more than a few economic big-wigs refer to the recent Wall Street melt-down as "a financial Pearl Harbor". I've also heard more than a few Obamaniacs themselves refer to this election as "the most important election in the history of our country".

Hmmm, so the Great Deliverer is this untested, inexperienced, wet behind the ears ne'er-do-well? You gotta be shittin' me.

You know, gang... who goes from being a 2d Lieutenant, to the Commandant of the Marine Corps in 143 days?

Who goes from being an Assistant Manager at your neighborhood McDonald's, to the corporation's CEO in 143 days?

Who goes from coloring inside the lines, to painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in 143 days?

Who goes from being the most inexperienced candidate in the history of the United States of America to the Chief Executive with only 143 working days under his belt? Well, if you're the puppet of some very powerful, behind the scenes individuals... then Barack Obama does.

San Francisco, It's Not The Only Freak Show In Town
The Lavender Mafia in the Heartland

Donchya just love it? Here's some of the article from PewSitter.com; (Emphasis mine) CATHOLIC DIOCESE CONDONES PURDUE PARISH PRESENCE AT OUTOBERFEST

Washington, D.C. (20 October 2008) – An American Life League supporter and Purdue University student is taking the Diocese of Lafayette, Indiana to task for condoning St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church's participation, along with Planned Parenthood of Indiana, in OUToberfest 2008, a gay pride event.

Naomi Whittaker, ALL supporter and senior neural biology and physiology major at Purdue University, wrote to the diocese Oct. 10 expressing concern over the OUToberfest 2008: Tippecanoe County Pride Celebration to be held Oct. 11. The event marked National Coming Out Day.

"I respectfully request that St. Thomas Aquinas be held responsible to the teachings and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, Whittaker requested in the letter, "Please let me know if there is anything more I can do to protect the sanctity of the Catholic Church's teachings,".

On Oct. 13, Bishop William L. Higi responded to Whittaker through Rev. Msgr. Robert L Sell.

"…the participation of the parish was in conjunction with other Christian Churches of the area who were reaching out in solidarity to homosexual persons as children of Our Loving God." Sell said. "He (the parish pastor) assured me that this effort was not condoning a particular lifestyle or choice, but was seeking to join other Christian Denominations who participated in the event in an effort to demonstrate to homosexual persons the outreach and concern that our Faith has for them."

American Life League has written to request the diocese issue a written statement to dispel confusion over the Catholic Church's teaching on abortion and homosexuality.

"It is absolutely outrageous for a Catholic church to stand alongside Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, and give implicit endorsement of an event and lifestyle antithetical to the Catholic faith," said Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League.

Among the registered participants at the event, St. Thomas Church, the parish serving Purdue University, was listed alongside Planned Parenthood of Indiana, Purdue Queer Student Union, Pride Lafayette, Inc., and Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays among others.

The event featured a drag show and a myriad of gay and lesbian workshops for children.

Coma Inducing, Glazed-Over Eyed, 1,000 Yard Stare, Butt Numbingly Drone On And On And On And On And On And On And On And On And On And On
American bishops do what they do best... talk endlessly without ever really DOING anything.

Yes, yes... the headline is encouraging. But the reality is, the nuancing of what was said would make Barack Obama blush. Well, his White side anyhow.

But anyhow, check out the headline from LifeSiteNews.com
U.S. Bishops Come out Swinging against Abortion, Pro-Abort Politicians
Finn says, "A significant new attack on innocent human life will likely send us into a moral freefall that would rival any financial decline"
And there are quotes such as the following;
"Saving our children or killing our children. This is the overriding issue facing each of us."

"All other issues ... have to take second place to the issue of life, so-called good Catholics, are quite ready to vote for a pro-abortion candidate under almost any circumstance."

"Do some of our so-called good Catholics, who may go to Mass every Sunday and receive the Holy Eucharist, really believe that voting for a pro-abortion candidate, when there is a clear alternative and therefore no justifiable reason for so doing, is really not voting to have children killed? This election is all about saving our children!"
Heartening, indeed! Golly gee, was this a communique released by the entire USCCB? Mmmm... probably not. Was this a statement from a majority of members of the USCCB? Not quite. I know, I know -- this is a release from a sizable minority of member bishops, right? I really do need to stop lying to myself.

This is from a whopping three. Specifically, Bishops Robert W. Finn of Kansas City, Robert Hermann of St. Louis, and Edwin O'Brien of Baltimore. And in all fairness, there has been a handful of other bishops who have said essentially the same thing. A pathetically small handful.

And I'll sincerely tip my hat to these three for having the courage to at least say something, but let's see what some of what was actually said;
O'Brien urged professedly pro-life politicians to begin putting their beliefs into action. "To our elected officials who value innocent human life in the womb, a reminder and a plea: there are any number of ways within our Constitution to advance the protection of innocent human life. Is it not reasonable and honorable to take some steps, however small, to pursue that goal?"

Some Catholics have expressed concern that neither John McCain nor Barack Obama are worthy candidates, due to the former's support for intrinsically evil embryonic stem cell research, and the latter's support not only for embryo research, but also for abortion. Bishop Finn responds to the concern by declaring that, when faced with two "imperfect" candidates, "we should choose the candidate whose position will likely do the least grave evil, or whose position will do the most to limit the specific grave evil of abortion."
"Urged"? "A reminder and a plea"? How about DEMANDING under threat of excommunication!!?? How disgustingly wimpy. By the way... Catholics can now be in favor of an intrinsic evil? Bullshit. Someone needs to remind the good bishop exactly what the definition of "intrinsic evil" is.

Hell, I'll do it myself;
Intrinsically \In*trin"sic*al*ly\, adv.
Internally; in its nature; essentially; really; truly.
[1913 Webster]

Evil \E"vil\ ([=e]"v'l) n.
Producing or threatening sorrow, distress, injury, or calamity; unpropitious; calamitous; as, evil tidings; evil arrows; evil days.
[1913 Webster]
In other words, nothing good can ever come about from an act that is intrinsically evil. Under any and all circumstances, an intrinsic evil is never morally permissible... period.

But anyhow, all this talk talk talk from American bishops is nothing but hot wind. When was the last pro-abortion politician excommunicated? When was the last Roman Collar wearing defender of abortion defrocked? And not just removed from a parish... but defrocked?

Never. That's when.

Overall, the bishops pissed away any moral authority they had when they protected homosexuals rapists. This a a perfect chance to regain the high ground they lost. But they won't. Excommunicating baby-killers is oh-so politically incorrect.

And God knows the USCCB doesn't want to hurt anyones feelings. Self-esteem trumps dead babies every time.

Another Example Of How Live Languages Mutate
Just like in the Novus Ordo Mass

First "gay" went from meaning lighthearted and carefree, to that any given dude now having poop stained hydraulics.

Then on to the bulbous nosed lip-biter with a penchant for chubby Jewish girls, Bubba Clinton hisself, asking the musical question, "what's the meaning of 'is'?"

Well, the other day I was listening to some guy on the radio bring up how the word 'racist' is so often misused now-a-days. And more often than not, it's by 'educated" folks... usually Liberal bomb-throwers.

But anyhoo, anytime someone says anything derogatory (real or imagined) of someone else of a different race, they're immediately branded a 'racist'. Well, gang, that's not what 'racist' means. Ready to take notes so you can correct others in the future and feel oh-so-superior? Alrighty then... on with the show.

Racism - The belief that one race is superior over another based solely on race. Example: "(Insert race here, Blacks, Whites, Latinos, etc.) are naturally smarter than everyone else." Two examples of individuals who are racist are Hitler and Farrakhan.

Prejudice - Literally, pre-judging. Especially before all the facts are know, but a pre-judged assumption is made based on race. Example: "I heard a gas station was robbed last night. Must have been a (insert race here)." Two examples of individuals who are prejudiced are Hitler and Farrakhan.

Bigotry - Negative emotions based on race. Example: "I hate that guy just because he's (insert race here)." Two examples of individuals who are bigots are Hitler and Farrakhan.

So the next time you say anything negative about The South-Side Stooge, and you're called a racist by a Defeatocrat, just tell 'em that not only are they utilizing the English language incorrectly... you're referring to the White half.

From there, have fun watching their head explode.

Note to the Obama/Biden campaigns

Joe Biden... condescending!!?? Nahhhhh... Here's the latest from Joey Hairplugs from Fox News; (Emphasis mine) Joe the Plumber is a football for political athletes. Joe the Vice Presidential Candidate, a.k.a. Biden, appeared miffed by the suggestion that Wurzelbacher could entertain the notion that he would be better off in a McCain administration.

"I don't have any Joe the Plumbers in my neighborhood that make $250,000 a year and are worried," Biden said. "The Joe the Plumbers in my neighborhood, the Joe the Cops in my neighborhood, the Joe the Grocery Store Owners in my neighborhood, they make -- like 98 percent of the small businesses -- less than $250,000 a year and they're going to do very well under us.
And not to be outdone, The South-Side Stooge added the following; “How many plumbers you know making a quarter-million dollars a year?"Hey dip-shits.... HE doesn't make a quarter million a year. The company does.

And It Only Took 40+ Years For The Lights To Come On
But is the toothpaste out of the tube?

The once Catholic bulwark that was Latin America is slowly, but steadily, becoming Protestant. Hmmm... kinda like how once Catholic Europe is becoming moslem?

But I digress, Here's some of the article from the Catholic News Agency; (Emphasis mine) Brazilian bishop: Catholics turn to religious sects because they don’t see God in the Church

Vatican City, Oct 16, 2008 (CNA).- Archbishop Walmor Oliveira de Azevedo of Belo Horizonte in Brazil said this Monday during the Synod of Bishops that religious sects continue to pose a challenge, saying that if Catholics abandon the Church to join a sect it is “because they do not encounter God in her.”

During his intervention at the Synod, the Brazilian bishop said, “Often the simple people who leave our Church do not do so because of what non-Catholic groups believe, but fundamentally because of how they live out that membership, not for dogmatic reasons, but pastoral ones, not for theological problems, but because of the methods within our Church.”

The archbishop underscored that “many of those who turn to sects don’t want to leave the Church but are sincerely searching for God.”

The archbishop emphasized the sects in Latin America
are filled with former Catholics...
Liberation Theology - horizontal worship - the bar of excellence and expectations that's so low, it's indistinguishable from a sewer pipe, etc, etc.

Gee, I can't figure out why people are leaving The Catholic Church in droves... can you?

Could This Be The October Surprise?
For both The Obamanation and McPain

Lynn Woolley of Human Events pretty much nails it. Here's some of the article. Believe me, it's well worth the read; (Emphasis mine)
Obama's October Surprise

The campaign talking point that every Democrat repeats ad nauseum is that Obama was only 8 years old when Ayers and his terrorist wife Bernadette Dohrn were involved in such activities as bombing the U. S. Capitol and the Pentagon. On “Meet the Press,” moderator Tom Brokaw refers to Ayers as an “education reformer.” The truth is that Ayers gave Obama his only executive experience by tabbing him to distribute $50 million in grant money -- money to be used by groups like ACORN to radicalize students.

But somehow this is too complicated for the people to understand. After all, Obama was just 8 years old.

Well, he wasn’t 8 when he met Antoin “Tony” Rezko. Rezko, a convicted felon, is behind bars and may be singing like a canary to federal prosecutors. What he’s telling them isn’t precisely known because it’s all secret. But Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich might have reason to worry; so might Obama. It just depends on what it takes for Rezko to get a deal with the feds. And, of course, it depends on what’s to tell. Perhaps Rezko’s fundraising and real estate dealings with Obama were all on the up and up. Not likely, but maybe.

And maybe the October Surprise will involve Obama’s on-line fundraising where the numbers of fake names and over-the-limits donations are skyrocketing. The Republican National Committee has asked the FEC to investigate evidence of illegal foreign influence, but time is running short.

Maybe, if there is a surprise, it will be the result of some major media investigation of Obama’s relationship with the bloody Prime Minister of Kenya, Raila Odinga. WBBM-TV in Chicago ran a report that had Obama criticizing Kenyan President Kibaki during a 2006 Senate fact-finding trip to Kenya. It would be interesting to know more about Obama’s ties to Odinga, who has a power-sharing agreement with Kibaki and who named his son “Fidel” after you-know-who. But no major newspaper or network is checking into the story so far as we know.

Maybe the October Surprise will be that John McCain takes the advice of his own supporters and forcefully goes after Sen. Obama on his record, his policies and his alliances. Now THAT would be a surprise.
But in all fairness, let's not forget that during last night's debate, McCain admitted to being a favor of federally funded Embryonic Stem Cell Research.

Here's the transcript. See it for yourself;
McCain: Every other ad -- ever other ad was an attack ad on my health care plan. And any objective observer has said it's not true. You're running ads right now that say that I oppose federal funding for stem cell research. I don't.Face it... McCain looks upon ESCR as a political football what he's scared to death of fumbling. Oh, and he still worships at the Altar of Sacrificial Babies.

The Three Great Lies That Most Blacks Keep Telling Themselves

Here are the Three Great Lies that most Blacks keep telling themselves despite overwhelming evidence against;

1. Barack Obama will be a great president.

2. The Democratic Party really does care about me.

Guess Who's Excited About "President Obama"?
Birds of a feather...

Here's your wake-up call, America. When the freakin' Communists start wetting their pants over Comrade Barry, that's gotta tell you something. But I fear I'm wasting my time. Most Zombified Americans will drone their way to the polls on November 4th and ensure that the Maui-churian Candidate gets elected.

Here's some of the article from AFP News; (Emphasis mine) US communists say their time has come

NEW YORK (AFP) — A rare bird in the political world, the US Communist Party is feeling rather smug in these days of capitalist turmoil. At the party's New York headquarters on 23rd Street in Manhattan, regional party chairman Libero Della Piana, 36, laid out why he thinks Marxist-Leninism's time has finally come.

"We can afford to be less on the defensive for the first time since Ronald Reagan, and we can say our word in rebuilding America on a new basis, rebuilding a better world, instead of one based on the greed of the few."

There is no communist running for the White House and the Communist Party does not endorse Democrat Barack Obama. Yet many staff here wore his picture on lapel buttons, while Republican John McCain was relegated to a box of tissues -- the tissues being pulled through his mouth.

Redistribution of wealth, the elimination of human weeds, no difference between men and women. Here's some of a disturbing little article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; (Emphasis mine) Candidates differ on female draft

Even as the U.S. confronts two long wars, neither Sen. John McCain nor Sen. Barack Obama believes the country should take the politically perilous step of reviving the military draft.

But the two presidential candidates disagree on a key foundation of any future draft: Mr. Obama supports a requirement for both men and women to register with the Selective Service, while Mr. McCain doesn't think women should have to register.

Turns Out That Ol' Cavey Was Right All Along
And all the "change" you can handle

Here's some of the article from Fox News; (Emphasis mine) Obama to Plumber: My Plan Will 'Spread the Wealth Around'
Barack Obama tells a plumber in Ohio he wants to "spread the wealth around," eliciting criticism that his economic recovery plan is socialist in nature.

Barack Obama told a tax-burdened plumber over the weekend that his economic philosophy is to "spread the wealth around" -- a comment that may only draw fire from riled-up John McCain supporters who have taken to calling Obama a "socialist" at the Republicans rallies.

Obama made the remark, caught on camera, after fielding some tough questions from the plumber Sunday in Ohio, where the Democratic candidate canvassed neighborhoods and encouraged residents to vote early.

"Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?" the plumber asked, complaining that he was being taxed "more and more for fulfilling the American dream."

"It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too," Obama responded. "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
And then there's this from the Merriam-Webster Dictionary; Main Entry: Marx·ism
Pronunciation: \märk-si-zum\
Function: noun

The political, economic, and social principles and policies advocated by Marx ; especially : a theory and practice of socialism including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialism, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat until the establishment of a classless society.
By the way, I'm unfamiliar with the phrase "dialectical materialism" (I must have been asleep during Comrade Ayers class that day), so I thought I'd look up the definition. Interesting, indeed.

Here's a bit from the Columbia Encyclopedia: Dialectical Materialism,
Official philosophy of Communism, based on the writings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, as elaborated by G. V. Plekhanov, V. I. Lenin, and Joseph Stalin. The basic tenets are that everything is material and that change takes place through “the struggle of opposites.”
"Change"... where have I heard that before?

Caveman Economics 101
Cavey explains it all...

OK fellow Bloglodytes, time for everyone to keep their cool during these unsure economic times.

Yes, yes... we all know that a whole buncha Fannie Mae-Freddie Mac-Lehman Brothers kinda guys who had for every $1 of capital/equity, they had $30-$60 in debt, these goombas are all dying off and being swallowed up by someone else.

And hopefully, this brief flirtation with Socialism will be just that... brief (no thanks to the RepubliCrats). But eventually the strong companies will own the weak ones.

This fine Sunday morning, I was watching an interview with Gov. Bill Ritter (D-CO) who referred to voter fraud as registration irregularity.

And John McCain refers to illegal aliens as undocumented individuals, and Barack Obama refers to a domestic terrorists as just another guy in the neighborhood.

Don't ya just love it?

But I did get a dose of truth thrown my way. At Mass, my good ol' Traditionalist priest had the bad manners to state (words to the effect of) "if I hear 'Change' one more time, I'm gong to vomit. If you want to talk about change, how about changing Roe vs Wade?".

Now THAT'S a Straight Talk Express.

Here's some of the article from LifeSiteNews.com; (Emphasis mine) Massachusetts Bishops Vacillate on Defense of Marriage Petition Campaign
Spokesman says Cardinal O'Malley signed petition "in a moment of weakness"

BOSTON, October 10, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Massachusetts Catholic Conference (MCC), which represents the Catholic bishops of Massachusetts, has offered no support for the restoration of the state's 1913 marriage law, which would prevent nonresident homosexuals from going to Massachusetts to be "married" in accordance with the state's "gay marriage" provisions.

Recent actions by the hierarchy and its representatives are raising further questions about the leadership's true sentiments on the matter.

The latest controversy began when Sean O'Malley, the Cardinal Archbishop of Boston, was approached at a public event asking for his signature endorsing the restoration of the law.

Although O'Malley signed the petition, members of his own entourage attempted to snatch the sheet away. Now, the Boston Archdiocese, in conjunction with the MCC, has issued a statement implying that signatures cannot be collected on Church property.

Camenker (of the pro-family organization MassResistance) also says that he was told that Cardinal O'Malley signed the petition "in a moment of weakness" and that it was not a public act

But now your weak and timid and act like such a wimp
Do you need Viagra, has your noodle gone completely limp?

And it's too late, McCainey, now it's too late

You let out our steam, you ended the dream
You quit and there's no doubt

I'm not all that smart, just your average hick
But I can see your gettin' whupped by that Marxist prick
Your campaign is stone-dead, that pig don't need no lipstick

John McCain Is The Novus Ordo Of Republicanism
Weak message, weak leadership, weak backbone

You know things aren't going well when you get booed at your own campaign rally. Case in point from the Miami Herald; (Emphasis mine) McCain gets boos at GOP rally for defending Obama

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- John McCain on Friday moved to calm rising anger among his supporters at rival Barack Obama, calling him a decent man and at one point taking the microphone away from a woman who had called Obama an Arab.

Their anger apparently still at flash point, McCain's supporters then booed him for his conciliatory words about Obama.

Supporters at the Minnesota town hall meeting pressed McCain to get even tougher on Obama. But when one man said he was scared to raise his unborn child in a country that might be led by a President Obama, McCain disagreed.

"I have to tell you, he is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States," McCain said to boos and groans from his supporters.
But hold on a second... if I don't have to be scared of an Obama Presidency, then why the hell is McCain approving the following ad (from the Boston Globe); "When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers. When discovered, he lied. Obama. Blind ambition, bad judgment," the announcer says. "Congressional liberals fought for risky subprime loans. Congressional liberals fought against more regulation. Then, the housing market collapsed, costing you billions. In crisis, we need leadership, not bad judgment."So what is there in this McCain ad that isn't suppose to illicit a certain degree of fear in the voting public? But I have nothing to be scared of... right? Bullshit.

And for the moment, put Ayers aside --- how many of you knew that Calypso Louie Farrakhan called Obama "The Messiah"? Check this out;

Yeah, America's hungry for leadership and change, but we sure as hell could do better than a moldy loaf of bread or one with shards of broken glass baked in it. Good Lord... a Marxist and a RepubliCrat. Those are our choices? Pathetic.

Why The Republicans Deserve To Lose This Election
And why America deserves an Obama Presidency

Welcome to The Dred Scott Decision, 2008.

But let me preface all this by saying there's a lot about John McCain's politics that I agree with. Some I don't. And while I'm at it, allow me to say that when it comes to military service, John McCain has suffered more for this country than all the members of my immediate family, combined. And that's 86 years total military service.

And with all that happy shit aside, I'll continue to drive the point home that John McCain still steadfastly refuses to unambiguously and unequivocally renounce his stance on Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Specifically from JohnMcCain.com; Where federal funds are used for stem cell research, Senator McCain believes clear lines should be drawn that reflect a refusal to sacrifice moral values and ethical principles for the sake of scientific progress, and that any such research should be subject to strict federal guidelines. In other words, it's open season on embryos that the government already has it's grubby hands on.

Here's some of the article from LifeSiteNews.com; (Emphasis mine) Oregon Court Orders Frozen Embryos Destroyed, Considered "Property Rights" Issue

PORTLAND, Oregon, October 10, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Oregon Court of Appeals on Wednesday denied a father's appeal to keep his six frozen embryos alive, and ordered that the embryos be destroyed by thawing, as ordered by his ex-wife. The court also ruled that the embryos' fate fell under the issue of "property rights."
And John McCain is the best the Republicans can give us? If McCain won't protect all Americans, then he doesn't deserve to be President of any of us.

The holocaust will continue, and all the while, we heap condemnation upon our own heads.

And now we all know how Dred Scott must have felt.

Another Bitter Fruit Of Vatican II
By their silence, you will know them

Here's some of the article from The Catholic News Agency; (Emphasis mine) Young Catholics not turning to sanctity of life and marriage as voting issues, poll finds

Washington DC, Oct 8, 2008 / 11:48 pm (CNA).- A new poll of Americans ages 18-34 has surveyed the faith, politics, and issue positions of young adults before the 2008 election. The poll claims about 60 percent of younger self-identified Catholics say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, while 44 percent reportedly support same-sex marriage, a number which rises to 64 percent when religious liberty protections are emphasized.

Overall, 44 percent of Catholics said abortion should be illegal in all or most cases, while 54 percent said it should not. About 61 percent of young Catholics reported it was not a very important voting issue, compared to 56 percent of Catholics 35 years and older.

As a whole, 30 percent of Catholics agreed that “gay couples should be allowed to marry,” rising to 47 percent when the question is framed by the insistence that “no church or congregation would be required to perform marriages for gay couples.”
Let's hear it for the majority of our gutless priests and bishops who sat on their hands for the past 40+ years, and said zilch point shit about moral absolutes.

I'm not going to keep my mouth shut. The vast majority of our hierarchy has miserably failed us, The Church, and ultimatly Christ Himself. After all, God will ensure that we get the Church we deserve.

And let's not forget that Christ sent His own mother to warn us that the workr of the devil would infiltrate even into The Church.

And when huge numbers of self-described Catholics are in favor of slaughtering babies, it's pretty damn ovbious that in more than a few parishes and diocese, satan wears a Roman Collar.

Now If The Vatican Would Only Reject All The Homosexuals That Wear Roman Collars
Ahhh... the hypocrisy is exquisite

One would think that a priest (who, by the way, is responsible for the salvation of souls) should be a damn sight more important to Rome than their Ambassador from the Republic of Dropyourweaponsandrunawayscreaminglikealittlegirl.

Am I the only one to remember that "Archbishop" Rembert Weakland paid out almost a half million dollars in hush-money to his boyfriend... and Rome still hasn't "rejected" this unrepentant homosexual.

But anyhow, here's some of the article from LifeSiteNews.com; (Emphasis mine) Vatican Rejects Homosexual Militant as French Ambassador to the Holy See
Follows previous rejections of divorcées from both France and Argentina

VATICAN CITY, October 8, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - After refusing to accept the appointments of a homosexual militant and a divorcée as ambassador from France to the Holy See, the Vatican has acceded to the appointment of a Catholic in good standing with the Church.

After a one year standoff with the Vatican, French President Nicholas Sarkozy withdrew the appointment of Jean-Loup Kuhn-Delforge, who has been described in the Italian media as a "declared militant homosexual." He has contracted a civil union with a man through France's Civil Solidarity Pact legislation and shares his last name.

I Ain't 'Fraid Of No Hell!
Why fear what doesn't exist?

As I've posted a few times in the past, every so often, a Com-Box posting takes on a life of it's own. This is one of them. And what a perfect example this is of "The Spirit of Vatican II" new and improved Catholicism that places the focus on me, I, us and all things worldly. (Emphasis mine) Christine said...
I am Catholic and I am voting for Obama. I am looking at them both with a well rounded view of all they stand for. After eight years of nonsense I cannot take anymore. I am truely grateful for a church that doesn't tell me who to vote for. If I burn in hell for wanting health insurance for the first time in my life then so be it. Plus the idea of President Palin gives me the willies...
Amazing. How can someone who describes themselves as a Catholic, so flippantly look upon their soul spending all of eternity in hell? But then again, why should Christine even bother to fear the fires of hell? After all, when was the last time you heard a Novus Ordo priest mention hell, sin or final judgment? Christine obviously believes that Truth doesn't come from above, but from within.

And it's REALLY obvious that the Teachings of the Church don't really pertain to her... not as long as you worship both yourself and adhere to the Platform of the Democratic Party. And I wonder where it was that she was taught that? At St. Bozo's at the corner of Che Street and Fidel Avenue?

This is what happens when a Catholicism commits slow suicide by ceasing from being a religion based on moral absolutes, and more of a philosophy based on feeling good about yourself.

Please know that the "Christine" noted wasn't the usual Christine who frequents The Lair.

An October Surprise?
That's the only thing that may save the Straight Talk Distress

No one took my advice to have Vincent Vega stroll into town and administer emergency First Aid to McCain's campaign. Oh, and the most exciting personality at last night's snooze-fest was Tom Brokaw. That's kinda like unflavored oatmeal being described as the most exotic food on the menu.

Anyhow, about the only thing that'll save McCain's bacon will be a rather large October Surprise. And by that, I mean either one of the Billaries to come out and say something along the lines of "I'm not telling you who to vote for, but I can no longer endorse Senator Barack Obama".

And we gotta be honest. Obama has done zilch point shit to help out with The Hildabeast's campaign debt. Should I even bother to point out that the closer it looks like an Obama Presidency in 2008, the more it looks like there isn't even the remotest chance of a HRC Presidency in 2012. And I think The Hildabeast want to be The Prez in 2012 REAAAAAAL BAAAAAAD. In the next 3 1/2 weeks, we'll see just how bad.

By the way... who pronounces Pakistan - Pah-kee-STAHN? Probably the same kinda guy who would describe the moslem evening call to prayer as "the most beautiful sound on earth".

OK America, get ready for a Ramadan Tree every year in the White House.

Satanic Spain
Stephen King (or Adolf Hitler) couldn't have done worse

This is really disturbing. Freakin' blenders?? May God have mercy on once Catholic Spain.

Here's some of the article from the Catholic News Agency; (Emphasis mine) Open letter asks King of Spain not to sign decree allowing aborted babies to be ground up

Madrid, Oct 7, 2008 / 06:35 am (CNA) - Father Joan Manuel Serra, a priest of the Diocese of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, has asked King Juan Carlos of Spain not to sign a royal decree that would modify mortuary policies and would make it legal to use “baby crushing machines” that would be used on the remains of babies aborted up to the seventh month of pregnancy in abortion clinics.

However, after the scandal of the Ginemedex Clinic, where it was discovered that blenders were being used to cover up illegal late-term abortions, the government, “with the supposed support of the main opposition party,” has proposed changing the norms for mortuaries “so that the ‘remains’ of an abortion not be considered ‘human remains of sufficient entity’ until after the 28th week of gestation,” that is, nearly the seventh month of pregnancy.

“Your majesty, we are reaching levels of inhumanity that are completely inadmissible and that are putting the very foundation of our society at risk,” Father Serra said. “If we do not protect the right to life of all,” even those who are weakest, we are laying “the foundations of a very violent society that will end up destroying itself.”
For us old-timers, remember when many European and Latin American nations legally declared Catholicism as their official religion? Yeah, a lot of us remember that lil' factoid.

But here's what I'm getting at... guess who it was who led the charge for nations to officially renounce Catholicism as the state religion? You guessed it. It was The Catholic Church Herself who led that particular Charge of the Catholic-Lite Brigade.

If The Holy Father wants to know why so many Catholics present day have abandoned their Catholicism, he doesn't have to look very far to find out who the culprit is.

Does Membership In The Hair Club For Men REALLY Cost That Much?
Charity begins in the follicles

Here's some of the article from the WSJ: (Emphasis and comments mine) Sen. Biden and his wife, Jill, reported $320,000 in adjusted gross income last year. Their tax returns, released earlier this year, were notable for how little they gave to charity: $995... (that's 0.3%, and zero dependent children at home).

Gov. Palin and her husband, Todd, had a combined adjusted gross income of $166,000 in 2007. The Palins gave somewhat more: $3,325 last year... (that's 2.0%, which is also the national average, and that's with four dependent children at home).

Wanna Screw With The Head Of A Liberal Race-Baiter?
It's time to turn the "Race Card" on it's head

To all those Conservatives who are of African, Oriental or Latino ancestry (or basically, anyone whose ancestry is other than Caucasian), the next time some condescending Liberal puke sneers down their nose at you for not wanting to vote for The South-Side Stooge, give 'em this as your reason:

"I don't trust White people."

After all, isn't "Brutha Barry" just as White as he is Black?

How About The Past Associations Of SARAH PALIN!!??
*as I try to do my best liberal media impersonation*

How dare Sarah Palin. She has the bad manners to mention the NY Times story about the connection between domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and The South-Side Stooge.

Or as Barry's Bestest Buddy says; "I don't regret setting bombs. I don't think we did enough."But anyhow, how rude of Palin to bring that up. After all, the liberal media went into melt down when it was rumored that she use to be a Pat Buchanan supporter. Case in point; Obama advisers and surrogates have linked Palin to conservative former presidential candidate Pat Buchanan. An Associated Press story from Alaska, dated July 17, 1999, stated that Palin, then the mayor of the small town of Wasilla, was wearing a Buchanan button during a Buchanan visit to Alaska.OK... just to make sure I understand this correctly. William Ayers is one of the founding members of the Communist-inspired Weather Underground. William Ayers set off bombs at the Pentagon. William Ayers plotted to bomb The White House and the Capitol building. To this day, William Ayers defends his crimes. Barack Obama never renounced William Ayers until their relationship was made public.

Pat Buchanan is a respected journalist, commentator and author. Pat Buchanan worked for three different Presidents of the United States of America. Pat Buchanan received millions of votes in two separate runs for the Presidency. Sarah Palin has publicly stated that her "relationship" with Buchanan as such - "When presidential candidates visit our community, I am always happy to meet them. I'll even put on their button when handed one as a polite gesture of respect."

But somehow... SOMEHOW... Palin is the bad guy here?

Media bias? Say it ain't so, Joe.
