John Edwards Reveals Dark Family Secret
"What A Goof" says big brother Wally
Aug 28, 5:45 PM (ET)
By Ganeesh Babaganootz

Charlotte, NC (Caveman News Service) - In a tearful public admission, Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards admitted to a childhood filled with psychological abuse. "I was never really accepted by my father" Edwards stated. "It was my mother, June, that always had to come to my defense. My father always wanted me to be butch... just like my brother, Wally. I just couldn't take the pressure."

A noticeably shaken John Edwards publicly faces the ghosts of his past. "Girls have always seemed creepy to me, always messing with lipstick and hairspray and all that other junk".

According to exasperated father, Ward Edwards, "yeah, his damn mother was always coming to his defense. She turned him into a little sissy. I told that woman that one day he would turn into a damn Nancy Boy. Why I let him get away with so much crap is beyond me. I should have my friggin' head examined."

Elder brother, Wally, adds "whenever no one was looking, I always pounded the crap out of him. I was just so damn sick of him always nodding his head up and down and saying 'oh, sure mom'. What a little ass kisser." The elder Edwards sibling added "and it was just so damn weird the way he had a 'thing' for JFK. I sometimes caught him dressing up like Jackie. What a freak."

The elder Edwards went on to say "as a young boy, John was always caught spanking his monkey. Mom never did a damn thing except bug the crap outta dad... always wanting his to "check on the Beaver." Night after night after night. Is it any wonder why I hate the little creep?

According to noted psychiatrist, Dr. Vinnie Boombatz, an adolescent male who experiences a childhood such as Edwards, very well may find himself later in life to be drawn to an older authority figure male role model. Especially one who would always publicly praise him for actually doing very little, and would frequently caress his face, arms and ass.

Dr. Boombatz added that a certain Eddie Haskell, family friend/childhood tormentor, also added to the psychological carnage. It was revealed that Haskell would often perpetuate the 'Love/Hate' syndrome. Young John would often see Haskell greet Mrs. Edwards with a "what a lovely dress you are wearing today, Mrs. Edwards". But as soon as Mrs. Edwards left the room, Haskell would give John a noogie followed by an wicked bad Indian burn. And then Haskell would finish with his signature 'heh, heh, heh' laugh.

According to Dr. Boombatz "the constant contradiction of love, then hate, then amusement... it was all too much for the fragile and sensitive psyche of the young Edwards to handle"

According to Haskell, "hey Sam, the squirt had it comin'. Him giving me the business and all".

Gore Gone Wild: Predicts 220 Foot Sea Level Rise in 10 years
Marc Sheppard

The scariest story told this Halloween week had nothing to do with ghosts, goblins, or zombies, though it was certainly dripping with huge gobs of Gore. In fact -- the most terrifying words screeched in the past seven days came from the master of environmental horror himself.

According to Arab Internet services company Maktoob.com, our favorite greenhouse gasbag spent Tuesday afternoon outlining the reasons why attendees of the Leaders in Dubai Business Forum must change their wicked gas-guzzling ways:

“The North Pole ice cap is 40 percent gone already and could be completely and totally gone in the winter months in the next 5 to 10 years.”

Such thaw, cautioned Gore, “could increase sea levels by 67 metres” and that “each one metre of sea level rise (SLR) is associated with 100 million climate refugees in the world.” That’s up a full 47 meters from the already horrifying predictions he’s made previously.

Incidentally, a climate refugee (or “environmentally induced migrant” as the UN would prefer we refer to them) is a person forced to move to a new country by global warming related environmental disasters. Where the whacky climate refugees per meter SLR figure came from is anybody’s guess.

Anyway, if my math is correct, the 2007 Nobel laureate (further enhancing the credibility of the good folks at Nobel Inc.) effectively predicted that by 2020, the oceans could rise 220 feet and 6,700,000,000 people will be forced to wander the planet in search of a less soggy domicile.

And the journey won’t be easy, what with much of the planet underwater and its entire population -- which Gore’s 6.7 billion amounts to -- vying for whatever dry land remains available.

As Great Britian PC's Themselves To Death
Convince the children that they're evil as quick as you can!

What a sad little story out of the UK, via The Telegraph. Here's some of it; (Emphasis mine) Schools report 40,000 cases of racism a year
More than 250,000 alleged racist incidents have been reported in schools as staff are forced to investigate every single playground spat, it has been claimed.

Teachers are being treated like counter staff in police stations as they have to fill in forms detailing name-calling and jokes. Meanwhile diversity “missionaries” are said to be increasing the divide between white and black children by forcing them to see everything through the prism of race.

Adrian Hart, the author of the report published by the Manifesto Club, a civil liberties group, said: “The obligation on schools to report these incidents wastes teachers’ time, interferes in children’s space in the playground, and undermines teachers’ ability to deal with problems in their classrooms.

“Worse, such anti-racist policies can create divisions where none had existed, by turning everyday playground spats into ‘race issues’.

“There are a small number of cases of sustained targeted bullying, and schools certainly need to deal with those. But most of these ‘racist incidents’ are just kids falling out. They don’t need re-educating out of their prejudice – they and their teachers need to be left alone.”

Martin Ward, deputy general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders, said: “Certainly any racist incident in schools should be dealt with swiftly but the definition of racism can be taken too far, especially with young children who clearly don’t understand the connotation behind the words.

Teachers and other school staff are allowed to report racism even if the alleged “victim” was not offended. In many cases, the “perpetrator” is punished by the head teacher and their parents will be told.

Sometimes the police are also called in, with the Crown Prosecution Service prosecuting 2,916 children aged between 10 and 17 for race or religious hate crimes in 2007-08, up from 404 just two years earlier.

Even toddlers at nursery school are treated as potential racists, the report claims, with staff told “the earlier you can pick up any tendency towards discriminatory or prejudicial behaviour, the better chance you have of successfully tackling it”.

Mr Hart, who was hired to make a film about racism in primary schools, says the strict policies undermine teachers’ ability to set behaviour standards for pupils and reduce them “to the level of police-station counter staff”. He claims in many cases the children involved are friends who have fallen out.

He says they are often too young to understand the insults they are using, but are being treated unfairly for having “inadvertently committed an offence that adults call ‘racism’”.

In addition, Mr Hart says he heard pupils saying that skin colour did not matter to them, but staff believed race must not be ignored and that children would “lose part of their selves” if their differences were not celebrated.

Mr Hart believes race equality “missionaries” who scrutinise relationships in schools are actually increasing division between pupils. He says “anti-racism workshops” lead to more reported incidents, which means more intervention by officials.

One head teacher told him that an assembly on respect for difference had led to an “awful atmosphere” as “children who used to play beautifully together .. separate along racial lines”.

The report quotes a youth worker who says that when children of different backgrounds fight “it’s not always a race issue”, but when it becomes recorded as such it “causes racism” because the children feel they have been treated unfairly.
The Liberals And "The Big Lie"
Democrats learned well from the Nazis

Hitler's Minister of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, was famous for saying "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it to be the truth."

Just like Roe V. Wade, it's a lie. There never was a rape. Just a knocked-up, under-educated 21-yr-old woman to was used by pro-abortion activists to further their agenda. Norma "Jane Roe" McCorvey has admitted that on several occasions.

But anyhow...

ABC's 20/20 proves that the Matthew Shepard killing had nothing to do with him being a homosexual, and everything to do with a couple of meth-heads wanting to rob an "easy mark". The death of Matthew Shepard was no 'anti-gay hate crime'. It was a botched robbery... pure and simple. Period.

But don't let facts get in the way. Check out the meat and potaoes of this article from the Catholic News Service:

President Obama signs federal hate crimes law under banner of change

Washington D.C., Oct 28, 2009 / 06:18 pm (
CNA).- President Obama signed the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act into law this afternoon in the East Room of the White House. The law, which secured passage by being attached to a military spending bill, is being flagged by Christians as a possible vehicle for preventing them from teaching against homosexuality.

Named after two victims of purported hate crimes, the bill allows federal authorities to prosecute violence based on gender, perceived or actual sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Defenders of the bill say that it doesn’t target Christian beliefs because it deals with actions only and not words, but many Christians, such as Dr. Gary L. Cass of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission say that “where hate crime laws have been enacted, it is Christians, specifically conservative Christians who hold to the historic Christian faith and it's values, that become the object of institutionalized, governmental hate."

Tony Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council, claimed that the hate crimes provision “is part of a radical social agenda that could ultimately silence Christians and use the force of government to marginalize anyone whose faith is at odds with homosexuality.”

As he signed the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 to which the Hate Crimes Prevention Act was attached, President Obama said, “So today I'm pleased to say that we have proved that change is possible. It may not come quickly, or all at once, but if you push hard enough, it does come eventually.”
And for whatever bizzare reason, this was attached to the military budget bill. What... it couldn't have made it on it's own? More slight of hand The Amazing Obatini.
And you can count on hearing the name of Matthew Shepard used more and more by the "Hate Speech" crowd.
Are These Evil?
These inanimate objects...

I'm still amazed at the number of people who are scandalized by the mere image of firearms and ammunition. If you should happen to be one of those folks, please allow me to point a few things out to you;

This is incapable of loading itself.

These are incapable of chambering themselves.

This is incapable of cocking itself.

This is incapable of pulling it's own trigger. And for those that think that by merely owning a firearm, I'm somehow a mass murderer in the making - bad guys don't legally own firearms nor do they advertise to the general public that they're armed. I, however, do.

But back to my initial question - are these evil? Obviously St. Gabriel Possenti didn't think so.

Tong tong"Law & Order" Abortion Episode Outrages Pro-Abortion Groups
By James Tillman

WASHINGTON, DC, October 26, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- Last Friday's episode of Law & Order on NBC, entitled "Dignity," has infuriated pro-abortionists while pleasantly surprising pro-lifers with an unexpectedly even-handed treatment of the issue of abortion.
Ripping its plot from recent headlines, "Dignity" begins with the murder of late-term abortionist Dr. Walter Benning (Matthew Boston) during a church service. Although the episode has a disclaimer stating that the story is fictional, its initial outline closely matches the case of the late-term abortionist Dr. George Tiller, who was shot and killed in a church in Wichita, Kansas, on May 31st.

After the murderer, Wayne Grogan is captured and confesses to the crime, while his defense attorney, Roger Jenkins (Richard Thomas), argues that the killing was justified because Grogan was acting in defense of someone else - namely, an unborn infant whom Benning was going to abort.

In the end Grogan is found guilty of the murder; but over the course of the episode a host of the arguments and issues surrounding abortion are covered in a manner unusually sympathetic to the pro-life cause.

As Dave Andrusko writes on the NRLC's website: "What makes the Law & Order episode so riveting is that virtually every pro-life argument you knew you would never hear on a network program is a part of 'Dignity.'"

"More important, it occurred to me as I listened in utter astonishment that each of these observations could have been presented in a way that was artificial, forced, or (as so often is the case with network portraits of pro-lifers) something that you would expect from an idiot. None of that was the case. These were real flesh-and-blood people, not caricatures."

Early in the episode, for instance, Detectives Lupo and Bernard argue with each other over abortion. Lupo says that forcing an 11-year old rape victim to give birth is unthinkable, to which Bernard responds: "You got it backwards, man! The horrible thing is the rape! Not the bringing of a life into the world."

He continues by pointing out that he himself was born to an unwed mother, and that Lupo very nearly had another partner.

Similarly, when Executive Assistant District Attorney, Michael Cutter argues with District Attorney Jack McCoy about whether they should give Grogan a plea bargain, Cutter compares abortion to slavery and Grogan to John Brown. He continues by arguing that Roe v. Wade conformed but to the science of its day, and that it deserves another look.

When witnesses begin to take the stand, however, the contrast between the pro-abortion and pro-life position only grows.

One abortionist, called as witness for the prosecution, says that the life of the disabled child Benning was going to abort would be without dignity. He continues to say that even if politicians make abortion illegal and "bow to the hypocrites and fools" of the pro-life movement, he would continue to perform abortions despite the law.

Perhaps the most surprising issue the episode raised is the connection of abortion with infanticide. Over the course of the case, the defense, desiring to show that Benning was a murderer, calls a witness to testify how a breathing, born-alive infant was killed by Dr. Benning.

"The boy was crying a little cry, moving his arms and legs," she says. "Dr. Benning cut the umbilical cord; then he took the surgical scissors and inserted it into the base of the baby's skull."

Several similarly gruesome, real-life cases of infanticide involving abortionists have occurred in recent years. In one case that drives close to home, an abortionist working for George Tiller, Shelley Sella, was accused of stabbing a born-alive infant in the ribcage until the baby died. In addition, former nurse turned pro-life activist Jill Stanek has also related that while working at a hospital in Illinois, numerous babies born alive after failed abortions were simply left to die in the "soiled utility room."

Pro-abortion groups have responded to the Law & Order episode with outrage that the show would feature an abortionist modeled on Dr. Tiller in a less than beatific light.

Charlotte Taft writes that "NBC cannot hide behind the words" by stating that the story is fictitious. For the media to make a negative story so blatantly ripped off the death of "St. George," as she dubs Tiller, is to murder him again. "There is no balance here," she says.

Kate Harding complained on Salon.com that the episode features only two groups: "Anti-choicers, who believe fetuses' rights trump women's, and the pseudo-pro-choicers, who are conveniently persuaded to agree with them by the end of the episode."

THIS Is Exciting News!!
And sure to piss off the liberals

WARNING! Harsh language alert!

C'mon, gang... does anyone really think the Pope in Rome does all the leg work in deciding who the next bishop of Palookaville is going to be? That's what a bureaucracy's for.

And let's be honest here... with a few notable exceptions, Pope John Paul II surrounded himself with left-of-center prelates. And one of the fruits of his surrounding himself with the "Peace and Justice" social worker/Roman Protestant crowd, is the fact that we have a whole shit pot full of suck-ass bishops world-wide.

You don't have to look any further than your local Conference of Catholic Bishops to see how true my words are on the subject.

Anyhoo... here's some of the article from The Catholic News Service; (Emphasis mine) Key post: US archbishop will help shape the world's episcopate
By John Thavis

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Pope Benedict XVI's naming of U.S. Archbishop Raymond L. Burke to the Congregation for Bishops was a small but significant appointment that could have an impact on the wider church for many years to come.

The congregation's members generally meet every two weeks to review candidates for vacant dioceses and make their recommendations to the pope -- recommendations that carry a lot of weight. Precisely for that reason, the Congregation for Bishops is known as one of the most important Roman Curia agencies.

Membership on the congregation is a five-year appointment, which could be renewed until a prelate's 80th birthday. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Archbishop Burke, 61, will be helping to shape the episcopate, not only in the United States but also around the world.

Formerly the archbishop of St. Louis, Archbishop Burke was named in 2008 as head of the Vatican's highest tribunal, known as the Supreme Court of the Apostolic Signature. At the time, pundits wondered whether the appointment would in effect sideline someone who had been one of the most outspoken U.S. bishops on moral and political issues.

Archbishop Burke has been anything but silent, however. Since his Vatican appointment, he has insisted that holy Communion be refused to Catholic politicians who actively support legal abortion, said the Democratic Party in the United States "risks transforming itself definitively into a 'party of death,'" and said nothing could justify casting a ballot for a candidate who supports "anti-life" and "anti-family" legislation.

In mid-October, he celebrated a pontifical high Mass in St. Peter's Basilica using the 1962 Roman Missal, known as the Tridentine rite -- the first time that has happened in almost 40 years.

Archbishop Burke, who is expected to be named a cardinal in coming months, will join about 30 other cardinal and bishop members of the Congregation for Bishops. Although the congregation's work is strictly confidential, sources explained in detail what the archbishop will be doing in his new role.

Unlike several other Roman Curia agencies, which may draw their full membership together only once a year, the Congregation for Bishops meets regularly every two weeks. The meetings last all morning, and typically bishops' appointments for four dioceses are reviewed at each session.

Even before the meeting, congregation members are sent abundant documentation on the candidates for each diocese, and they are expected to be familiar with the material. This is information collected by the apostolic nuncio in the country where the diocese is located; a large part of the packet is comprised of the written evaluations requested of some 30 to 40 people who know the candidate.

More importantly, members know they are dealing with decisions that will affect the future of the church and the salvation of souls.
Yet Another Reason Why I'll Never Vote For Newt Gingrich
Enough of the RepubliCrats, already!

Newt Gingrich… Disingenuous at best

Written by Scott A. Reddick

The 23rd Congressional district special election is not only a rhapsody of tribulations and revelations regarding the three contenders for the ultimate prize, it is in the eyes of some within the north country, much to their dismay, garnering a great deal of national attention … attention that many party establishmentarians are not all that comfortable with.

The reason for the national attention is that the results of this special election could be viewed as a referendum for the Obama administration and his policies; should [Democrat nominee Bill] Owens become elected.

It would be recognized as a victory for the Republican Party and a testament of what to expect nationwide during next years regular scheduled elections if [RINO Dede] Scozzafava is elected.

… Or more importantly a rebuke of the Republican Party and its leftward drift should a Conservative Republican such as Hoffman out Scozzafava … and win.

Enter Newt Gingrich.

Mr. Gingrich appears to be the only major, nationally recognized Republican to endorse Dede while dancing around the issues of ‘card check’, ‘gay marriage’, ‘abortion’ and more importantly the abnormally huge number of ‘union’ endorsements for Ms. Scozzafava. I cannot remember at any time … nationally or locally such huge support from unions for a Republican candidate.

Has the Republican Party locally (Nationally?) gone so far left as to accomplish a paradigm shift toward ‘forces’ that have traditionally been for the Democarts? If so, is this what traditional Conservative Republicans or even Moderate Republicans within the district want to see happen?
The so-called "moderate" Republicans had their chance in 2008... and what was the result?

1. Loss of the White House.

2. Loss of the Senate.

3. Loss of the House.

The RepubliCrat RINOs have screwed things up, but good. Time for them to get the hell out of the way.

Diogenes over at CatholicCulture.org has smacked it outta the park. Not that I'm exactly a big fan of Rush Limbaugh, but this "hate speech" bullshit is getting way out of hand. Enough already.
Hate speech, Rush, and the USCCB

Liberal activists in the US loathe conservative talk-radio shows. OK, you already knew that. Liberals would like to use the power of the Federal Communications Commission to tighten down the lid on conservative talk-show hosts. OK, you already knew that. Liberal religious groups have asked the FCC to investigate "hate speech" on the radio waves. Maybe you didn't know that, but I bet you aren't surprised.

The following religious denominations have agreed to sign on to the request to the FCC. They are: the United Church of Christ, U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops, the Islamic Society of North America, United Methodist Communications, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and "several other faith groups." [emphasis added]
The petition explicitly mentions Rush Limbaugh, and alludes to other radio hosts who are accused of hostility toward immigrants. For now, the campaign does not focus on radio hosts who oppose abortion or homosexual marriage or, perhaps, the ordination of women. But that will come.

Congressional Medal of Honor Citation

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while serving as Chaplain on board the U.S.S. Franklin when that vessel was fiercely attacked by enemy Japanese aircraft during offensive operations near Kobe, Japan, on 19 March 1945. A valiant and forceful leader, calmly braving the perilous barriers of flame and twisted metal to aid his men and his ship, Lieutenant Commander O'Callahan groped his way through smoke-filled corridors to the open flight deck and into the midst of violently exploding bombs, shells, rockets and other armament.

With the ship rocked by incessant explosions, with debris and fragments raining down and fires raging in ever increasing fury, he ministered to the wounded and dying, comforting and encouraging men of all faiths; he organized and led fire-fighting crews into the blazing inferno on the flight deck; he directed the jettisoning of live ammunition and the flooding of the magazine; he manned a hose to cool hot, armed bombs rolling dangerously on the listing deck, continuing his efforts despite searing, suffocating smoke which forced men to fall back gasping and imperiled others who replaced them.

Serving with courage, fortitude and deep spiritual strength, Lieutenant Commander O'Callahan inspired the gallant officers and men of the Franklin to fight heroically and with profound faith in the face of almost certain death and to return their stricken ship to port.
His sister became a Maryknoll nun, Sister Rose Marie, and was held prisoner for 3 years in the Phillipines. On 20 October 1965, she launched and christened the USS O'Callahan, the first nun to sponsor a U.S. Navy ship.

The wheels on the bus fall off, off, off

Dude, where's my magic?
By Thomas Lifson

Last night in Boston, President Obama faced a half-empty hotel ballroom at a fundraiser for his pal, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, who is unpopular and facing a difficult re-election campaign. Instead of confidence, he actually expressed doubt:

"There really should be no doubt that this guy gets a second term. But let's be honest. This is going to be a tough race ... "
Jules Crittenden has a hilarious blog post on the dismal portents for Obama and Patrick, titled "Maybe we can't," delving into the event and the press reaction. A sample:

Boston Globe helpfully plays down and buries five long graphs down but can't quite ignore Obama's low draw:

Sweeping into town for the fund-raiser and to deliver a speech on clean energy at MIT, Obama said Patrick deserves credit for implementing near-universal health care, investing in education, and making the alternative energy and biotech industries a priority. If voters fail to recognize this hard work in next year's state election, the president said, it will not bode well for the United States.
I'm sorry. It's about lowering expectations and claiming dire consequences for the very nation itself if the agenda doesn't get pushed. Maybe what he means is, 2010 losses won't bode well for US ... as in "we" ... in 2012. Because, he suggests, it will effectively render him a lame duck.

Otherwise, Obama said, other political leaders will say "then maybe I shouldn't, as a member of Congress or as a senator, take some chances and take some tough stands in pursuit of that same vision.''

Damn, for an early first-term mandate holder, he's not sounding very confident. But facing addressing all those empty chairs in blue Mass must have been disheartening.
Shaddap!
It's time for your Cavechism lesson

Sister Mary of the Cave explains it all.

Knowing that the vast majority of Bloglodytes know their catechism inside-out, we still would like to throw a few lessons in here and there to possibly help out those who have a question or two as to why the Catholic Church does and believes certain things.

It's incumbent on each of us to know our cavechism. After all, no one wants to get excavemmunicated.

Call No Man "Father"?
Many Protestants claim that when Catholics address priests as "father," they are engaging in an unbiblical practice that Jesus forbade: "Call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven" (Matt. 23:9).

To understand why the charge does not work, one must first understand the use of the word "father" in reference to our earthly fathers. No one would deny a little girl the opportunity to tell someone that she loves her father. Common sense tells us that Jesus wasn’t forbidding this type of use of the word "father."

In fact, to forbid it would rob the address "Father" of its meaning when applied to God, for there would no longer be any earthly counterpart for the analogy of divine Fatherhood. The concept of God’s role as Father would be meaningless if we obliterated the concept of earthly fatherhood.

But in the Bible the concept of fatherhood is not restricted to just our earthly fathers and God. It is used to refer to people other than biological or legal fathers, and is used as a sign of respect to those with whom we have a special relationship.

For example, Joseph tells his brothers of a special fatherly relationship God had given him with the king of Egypt: "So it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt" (Gen. 45:8).

Job indicates he played a fatherly role with the less fortunate: "I was a father to the poor, and I searched out the cause of him whom I did not know" (Job 29:16). And God himself declares that he will give a fatherly role to Eliakim, the steward of the house of David: "In that day I will call my servant Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah . . . and I will clothe him with [a] robe, and will bind [a] girdle on him, and will commit . . . authority to his hand; and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah" (Is. 22:20–21).

This type of fatherhood not only applies to those who are wise counselors (like Joseph) or benefactors (like Job) or both (like Eliakim), it also applies to those who have a fatherly spiritual relationship with one. For example, Elisha cries, "My father, my father!" to Elijah as the latter is carried up to heaven in a whirlwind (2 Kgs. 2:12). Later, Elisha himself is called a father by the king of Israel (2 Kgs. 6:21).

A Change with the New Testament?

Some Fundamentalists argue that this usage changed with the New Testament—that while it may have been permissible to call certain men "father" in the Old Testament, since the time of Christ, it’s no longer allowed. This argument fails for several reasons.

First, as we’ve seen, the imperative "call no man father" does not apply to one’s biological father. It also doesn’t exclude calling one’s ancestors "father," as is shown in Acts 7:2, where Stephen refers to "our father Abraham," or in Romans 9:10, where Paul speaks of "our father Isaac."

Second, there are numerous examples in the New Testament of the term "father" being used as a form of address and reference, even for men who are not biologically related to the speaker. There are, in fact, so many uses of "father" in the New Testament, that the Fundamentalist interpretation of Matthew 23 (and the objection to Catholics calling priests "father") must be wrong, as we shall see.

Third, a careful examination of the context of Matthew 23 shows that Jesus didn’t intend for his words here to be understood literally. The whole passage reads, "But you are not to be called ‘rabbi,’ for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be called ‘masters,’ for you have one master, the Christ" (Matt. 23:8–10).

The first problem is that although Jesus seems to prohibit the use of the term "teacher," in Matthew 28:19–20, Christ himself appointed certain men to be teachers in his Church: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations . . . teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." Paul speaks of his commission as a teacher: "For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle . . . a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth" (1 Tim. 2:7); "For this gospel I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher" (2 Tim. 1:11). He also reminds us that the Church has an office of teacher: "God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers" (1 Cor. 12:28); and "his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers" (Eph. 4:11). There is no doubt that Paul was not violating Christ’s teaching in Matthew 23 by referring so often to others as "teachers."

Fundamentalists themselves slip up on this point by calling all sorts of people "doctor," for example, medical doctors, as well as professors and scientists who have Ph.D. degrees (i.e., doctorates). What they fail to realize is that "doctor" is simply the Latin word for "teacher." Even "Mister" and "Mistress" ("Mrs.") are forms of the word "master," also mentioned by Jesus. So if his words in Matthew 23 were meant to be taken literally, Fundamentalists would be just as guilty for using the word "teacher" and "doctor" and "mister" as Catholics for saying "father." But clearly, that would be a misunderstanding of Christ’s words.

Why do Catholics call Mary "The Queen of Heaven"? It doesn't say that in the Bible!
In the Davidic monarchy, the queen-mother, or gevirah ("lady"; feminine form of gevir, "lord") played a very important role. King Solomon instituted this position when he enthroned his mother, Bathsheba, at his right hand (I Kings 2:19), and all his successors followed his example with their own mothers. This was the kings' way of fulfilling the Commandment to honor their mothers (Exodus 20:12)

Each time the Bible records a king of Judah, it mentions his mother (see I Kings 14:21; II Kings 14:2; 21:19; 23:36; 2 Ch 22:2) because she was the gevirah, and so had a special place in his court. The prophet Jeremiah sends a warning to both the king and his mother (Jer 13:18), and the Babylonians took both King Jeconiah and his mother away into captivity (2 Kings 24:15; Jer 29:2).

Jesus is the final Son of David, the rightful heir to King David's throne. He has exalted the Davidic dynasty into heaven itself, thus making it a truly everlasting kingdom (Ps 89:35-37). And, like His earthly forefathers, He has enthroned His Mother, Mary, at His right hand as the Gevirah of the Kingdom of heaven.

Here's just one example of the many sections; (one of my personal favorites, "the 'brothers' of Jesus" -
"Brothers" of Jesus

Mary wife of Cleophas and "sister" of the Virgin Mary (Jn 19:25) is the mother of James and Joset (Mk 15:47; Mt 27:56) who are called the "brothers of Jesus" (Mk 6:3).

Acts 1:12-15 ... apostles, Mary, "some women" and Jesus' "brothers" number about 120. That is a lot of "brothers."

Gen 14:14 ... Lot, Abraham's nephew (Gen 11:26-28), described as Abraham's brother (KJV).

Gen 29:15 ... Laban, Jacob's uncle, calls Jacob his "brother" (KJV).

John 19:26-27 ... Jesus gives care of Mary to John, not one of his "brothers."

2 Sam 6:23, Gen 8:7, Dt 34:6 ... "until."

So THAT'S What The Undercarraige Of A Bus looks Like...
Obama-style!

Just in time for Mr. Deeds see the wheels fall off.

Here's a bit of the article from the American Thinker; (Emphasis mine)

Mr. Deeds goes under the bus
Ralph Alter

Oh, the wheels on the Obama Bus go round and round, this time running over Virginia Democrat candidate for governer, Creigh Deeds. Long before Election Day, the frontrunners in the White House are already teaming with national party leaders to absolve the foundering President of responsibility for the debacle they anticipate in November.

Rosalind S. Helderman and Anne E. Kornblut report in the Washington Post:

"A senior administration official said Deeds badly erred on several fronts, including not doing a better job of coordinating with the White House. "I understood in the beginning why there was some reluctance to run all around the state with Barack Obama," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity in order to speak candidly about the race. "You don't do that in Virginia. But when you consider the African American turnout that they need, and then when you consider as well they've got a huge problem with surge voters, younger voters, we were just a natural for them."
A second administration official, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said: "Obama, Kaine and others had drawn a road map to victory in Virginia. Deeds chose another path."

The averages from leading national polling organizations have Deeds trailing Republican candidate McDonnell by double digits.

Obama staffers are clearly attempting to avoid any association with what looks like a losing cause. Apparently the Obama "magic" is lost on the voters of Virginia, just as it was lost on former Governor Doug Wilder, the first African-American elected to statewide office there. Despite being plied by Obama political director Patrick Gaspard and Obama himself, Wilder chose to remain on the sidelines in this race.

We have seen this all before with Obama. Once you are no longer useful, you're on your own, pal. That's a change you can believe in.

Media Bias...
What media bias?

Two different articles, both amazing in their bringing to light left-wing media bias.

Newsweek Gets Flood of Anti-Biden Letters, Publishes None of Them
By Tim Graham

It's bad enough that the new design of Newsweek came with blatant cover-story campaigning for Joe Biden. Then in the next edition, when it was time for Letters to the Editor, was there any chance of an anti-Biden message being published? No.

In the October 26 edition, there were only four pro-Biden letters hailing his "valiant voice of sanity." But here's where it gets funny: Newsweek ran a chart of its reader mail. Of the letters on the Biden cover, it said 25 percent were positive, 25 percent were neutral, and 50 percent were critical.

Not one of them was worthy? It's like Newsweek is saying: "Stop criticizing our heroes. We're not going to publishing your critical letters anyway."

In fact, this issue ran only seven letters: four for Biden, two criticizing Newsweek for allowing Christopher Hitchens to lament Obama's Nobel Prize, and one generic attack on "the right wing media."

The letter highlighted in large red type said "I'm glad Joe chose a life of service to this nation. And I'm glad Obama chose Joe, especially given his foreign-policy expertise. No typical vice president here."

This is pretty comical stuff from the "news" magazine that published an insulting cover story in 2005 on how George W. Bush was isolated within a bubble of people who agreed with him.
Then there's this, also from News Busters;

Klein: Fox's 'hateful crap' borders on 'sedition'
By George Joyce

For a fascinating glimpse into the seething and completely unhinged liberal mind check out Joe Klein’s dark and disturbing rant over at Time Magazine. The first line of the piece reads:

Let me be precise here: Fox News peddles a fair amount of hateful crap. Some of it borders on sedition. Much of it is flat out untrue.

Although Klein’s vitriol is off the charts it pales in comparison to what can only be described as his unseemly boot licking. Here’s an example:

If the problem is that stories bloated far beyond their actual importance -- ACORN's corruption, Van Jones's radical past -- are in danger of leaching out of the Fox hothouse into the general media, then perhaps the Administration should be a bit more diligent about whom it hires and whom it funds.

When a writer worries about stories “in danger of leaching out” he or she can best be described as a storm trooper, not a journalist. Just what is Klein trying to say here? Is he saying that snakes that are more capable of shrouding their identity from Fox News are a better bet for the Administration?

The philosopher Eric Hoffer once said the “missionary zeal seems rather an expression of some deep misgiving, some pressing feeling of insufficiency at the center.”

In other words, watch for these juvenile, Klein-like tantrums to only get worse on the left.
Sedition? For those who may not be sure, here's the definition of sedition;
An illegal action inciting resistance to lawful authority and tending to cause the disruption or overthrow of the government. As I said - media bias, what media bias?

Nun Volunteering as Abortion Clinic Escort in Illinois
Sr. Quinn's prioress said in an email response to LSN that the nun sees her volunteer activity as "accompanying women who are verbally abused by protestors."

By Kathleen Gilbert

HINSDALE, Illinois, October 23, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A Dominican nun has been seen frequenting an abortion facility in Illinois recently - but not, as one might expect, to pray for an end to abortion or to counsel women seeking abortions, but to volunteer as a clinic escort.

Local pro-life activists say that they recognized the escort at the ACU Health Center as Sr. Donna Quinn, a nun outspokenly in favor of legalized abortion, after seeing her photo in a Chicago Tribune article.

Sr. Donna Quinn, OP, is renowned in the Chicago area as an advocate for legalized abortion and other liberal issues.

In 1974 she co-founded the organization Chicago Catholic Women, which lobbied the USCCB on a feminist platform before it dissolved in 2000. She is now a coordinator of the radically liberal National Coalition of American Nuns (NCAN), which stands in opposition against the Catholic Church's position on abortion, homosexuality, contraception, and the male priesthood.
She's been pulling this bullshit for years now. Nothing's happened yet. What makes anyone think anything will ever happen?

The Dogma Of The American Patriotic Catholic Church Gets Clearer All The Time
Kardinal Kennedy speaks

Try not to vomit as you read some of this article from the Catholic News Service; (Emphasis mine)

Patrick Kennedy: Catholic Church Fanning ‘Flames of Dissent and Discord’ by Opposing Health Bill Over Abortion Funding

(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I) told CNSNews.com that the Catholic Church is doing nothing but fanning “the flames of dissent and discord” by taking the position that it will oppose the health-care reform bill under consideration in Congress unless it is amended to explicitly prohibit funding of abortion.

“I can’t understand for the life of me how the Catholic Church could be against the biggest social justice issue of our time, where the very dignity of the human person is being respected by the fact that we’re caring and giving health care to the human person--that right now we have 50 million people who are uninsured,” Kennedy told CNSNews.com when asked about a letter the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) had sent to members of Congress stating the bishops' position on abortion funding in the health-care bill.
Now it's 50 million. I thought it was 47 mmillion, I mean 40 million, I mean 30 million. Someone make up my mind.
And They Had The Audacity To Accuse Bush Of Being A Dictator
We're in a dictatorship now

Patrick Leahy is far from some obscure, minor legislator from East Pigknuckle. This guy's a major mover and shaker in DC.

Getta load of this;

Senate Judiciary Chairman Unable to Say Where Constitution Authorizes Congress to Order Americans to Buy Health Insurance

(CNSNews.com) – Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) would not say what part of the Constitution grants Congress the power to force every American to buy health insurance--as all of the health care overhaul bills currently do.

Leahy, whose committee is responsible for vetting Supreme Court nominees, was asked by CNSNews.com where in the Constitution Congress is specifically granted the authority to require that every American purchase health insurance. Leahy answered by saying that “nobody questions” Congress’ authority for such an action.

CNSNews.com: "Where, in your opinion, does the Constitution give specific authority for Congress to give an individual mandate for health insurance?"

Sen. Leahy: "We have plenty of authority. Are you saying there is no authority?"

CNSNews.com: "I’m asking--"

Sen. Leahy: "Why would you say there is no authority? I mean, there’s no question there’s authority. Nobody questions that."

When CNSNews.com again attempted to ask which provision of the Constitution gives Congress the authority to force Americans to purchase health insurance, Leahy compared the mandate to the government’s ability to set speed limits on interstate highways--before turning and walking away.CNSNews.com: "But where, I mean, which–"

Sen. Leahy: "Where do we have the authority to set speed limits on an interstate highway? The federal government does that on federal highways."

CNSNews.com: "The states do that."

Sen. Leahy: "No. The federal government does that on federal highways."

Prior to 1995, the federal government mandated a speed limit of 55 miles an hour on all four-lane highways. The limit was repealed in 1995 and the authority to set speed limits reverted back to the states.

Dontchya Just Love Those Loving Defeatocrats?

Interesting article from The Hill; (Emphasis mine)

Grayson: Republicans are 'the enemy of America'
Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) fired his latest salvo at Republicans on Wednesday evening, calling them "the enemy of America."

The congressman, who gained attention for saying the GOP's health plan is for the ill to "die quickly," made his remark in response to Sen. Lamar Alexander's (R-Tenn.) comment today warning the Obama administration to not draft a Nixonian "enemies list."

Grayson said on MSNBC that the GOP is the enemy of anybody who wants "anything good for this country," including healthcare reform, climate change legislation and
"certainly the enemy of peace."

He also took a swipe at Fox News, saying that 99 percent of Americans have the "good sense" not to tune into the network.

Obama Nominee to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Argued 'Gay Sex Is Morally Good’

(
CNSNews.com) – Chai R. Feldblum, nominated by President Barack Obama to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), has argued that homosexual sex is “morally good” and that government should foster all types of domestic partnerships, including “non-sexual” ones.

At a UCLA law school symposium in 2004, Feldblum said that homosexual activists need to do more than just pursue equality for same-sex relationships because advancing the homosexual agenda also “requires a statement that gay sex is morally good.”

“Now, you may think that might be a little crazy to go out there and say, ‘Gay sex is good.’ But think about it for a second. Society definitely believes that heterosexual sex is good, right? Heterosexual sex within a certain framework--marriage--I mean you can’t get more dewy-eyed and romantic in this society about how wonderful that is,” Feldblum told the University of California at Los Angeles audience.

Feldblum is a professor at Georgetown University Law School and director of the Federal Legislation and Administrative Clinic. She earned her law degree from Harvard and was a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackman, noted for being the author of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion.
No, you aren't wrong. She's a professor at a "Catholic" university.
Someone Finally Has The 'Nads To Go Ahead And Piss Off The Roman Protestants
This lil' fellah, that's who

Can you even imagine the melt-down that the so-called "Liberal Catholics" are experiencing right about now?

1. The Traditional Latin Mass is freed.

2. The excommunications are lifted against the SSPX.

3. There are currently 'talks' between The Holy See and the SSPX. Specifics are few, but one doesn't exactly have to be a Nostradumbass to figure out what's going on.

4. Ecumenical dialogue (The real kind. Not the pretend kind that happens with heretics) is moving along swimmingly with those who are hated by the Left - the Eastern Orthodox.

5. The role model and darling of Roman Protestants everywhere - the Anglican Communion - has just been given provisions for hundreds of thousands of them to covert en masse to the One True Faith.
And that begs the question; there are roughly 1 million Faithful that regularly attend Mass as celebrated by Society priests, but there are hundreds of millions of either 'liberal' or luke-warm (ie: ignorant of their Faith) Catholics who are at a minimum, uncomfortable with Tradition.

So why the emphasis on Traditional Catholicism and with it, the possible alienation of hundreds of millions of Catholics? Simple, really. Right is right, and wrong is wrong. The Truth isn't based on popularity polls.

More From "The Religion Of Peace"
Yeah... right

Not exactly the All American Dad, 'eh? Interesting story coming out of Arizona (YourWestVally.com);
Iraqi man runs down daughter for becoming too 'westernized'

Peoria police are searching for a man they say ran down his 20-year-old daughter in a parking lot for becoming “too 'westernized’ and ... not living according to their traditional Iraq values.”

Noor Faleh Almaleki of Surprise was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. Another woman, Amal Edan Khalaf, 43, of Surprise also was struck and is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Peoria police and fire personnel responded to a car-pedestrian collision at about 2:05. Upon arriving, they found that both victims had been run down by the suspect, who was driving a gray or silver 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, officials said.

Detectives from the Peoria Police Violent Crimes Unit, after talking with family and friends, learned Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, of Glendale was the driver, and that he is the father of Noor Faleh Almaleki. Those interviewed also told police he was with her as she had become too "westernized” and had made threats toward her.

If only St Catherine could meet most of the USCCB

Otherwise known as the United States Council of Confused Bishops.

Anyhow, in her letter to letter to Pope Gregory XI, in Avignon, well over 600 years ago, take a peek at what St. Catherine of Sienna told His Holiness; (No emphasis needed. This is all stunningly brilliant.)
Those who are in authority, I say, do evil when holy justice dies in them because of their selfish self-centeredness and their fear of incurring the displeasure of others! They see those under them sinning but it seems they pretend not to see and do not correct them.

And if they do correct, they do it so feebly and halfheartedly that it is worthless, only a plaster over the vice. They are forever afraid of offending and making enemies and all this because of self-love. Sometimes it's just that they would like to keep peace, and this, I tell you, is the worst cruelty one can inflict. If a sore is not cauterized or excised when necessary, but only ointment is applied, not only will it not heal, but it will infect the whole [body], often fatally.

Martyrs Died For Nothing According To The Patriotic American Catholic Church
More garbage out of Los Angeles

Pope Barry the Worst's Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Archpresider Roger "The Dodger" Mahony has authorized yet another abomination (maybe Obamination would be more correct), but before I present that to you, keep in mind Venerable Ralph Milner, one of the many English Martyrs; (Here's just a bare-bones of the original article, and emphasis mine;)
Layman and martyr, being practically illiterate, he supported his wife and eight children by manual labour. he was brought up an Anglican, but, struck by the contrast between the lives of Catholics and Protestants of his acquaintance, he determined to embrace the old religion, and, after the usual course of instruction, was received into the Church.

On the very day of his first Communion, however, he was arrested for changing his religion and committed to Winchester jail. Probably moved with compassion for the aged man, the judge urged Milner to attend even once the Protestant church and thus escape the gallows.

The latter refused, however, "to embrace a counsel so disagreeable to the maxims of the Gospel," and began immediately to prepare for death. Every effort was made to persuade him to change his purpose and renounce the Faith, and, when he was approaching the gallows with Father Dicconson, his children were conducted to him in the hope that he might even then relent. Unshaken in his resolution, Milner gave his children his last blessing, declared that "he could wish them no greater happiness than to die for the like cause," and then met his death with the utmost courage and calm.
And remember, execution back then was a long, drawn-out torture session. With all this in mind, take a gander at this;
Catholics & Episcopalians “Celebrate” Mary Together

"Reverend" Gwynne Guibord (the gal in the middle) performs with Frank T. Griswold III, the bearded former presiding "bishop" of the Episcopal Church and Rt. Rev. Alexei Smith, ecumenical and interreligious officer for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

(Posted 10/15/09 www.RemnantNewspaper.com) Southern California Roman Catholics and Episcopalians joined one another in “prayer and praise, music and reflection about the hope, courage, and freedom evoked by Mary, the mother of Jesus, during a solemn Evensong service September 20 at St. John's Pro-Cathedral near downtown Los Angeles,” reports Pat McCaughan of the Episcopal News Service (Sept. 21, 2009):

Dr. Guibord believes that such ecumenical and interreligious events allow Anglicans and Roman Catholics to "discover we have more in common than not. It's an opportunity for us to be together and envision what might be possible." The Rt. Rev. Alexei Smith, ecumenical and interreligious officer for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, described Mary: Grace and Hope in Christ, “an international agreement," and voiced his desire that both Catholic and Episcopal congregations will gather together to use the study guide which accompanies the ARCIC document.

Jenkins re-elected as Notre Dame president
By MARGARET FOSMOE
Tribune Staff Writer

SOUTH BEND — The Rev. John I. Jenkins today was re-elected to a second five-year term as president of the University of Notre Dame, the university announced this afternoon.

Jenkins, who became Notre Dame's president in July 2005, currently is in the final year of his first term. The re-election decision was made by Notre Dame's board of trustees, who met on campus Thursday and today.

After demonstrations last spring over Jenkins' decision to invite President Barack Obama to be commencement speaker, despite Obama's pro-choice stance on abortion, some observers wondered whether Jenkins might be in danger of a short-lived presidency.

The trustees issued no public statement or show of support for Jenkins during the controversy last spring.

At least the football team fell out of the Top 25.

Pope announces plans for Anglicans to convert en masse

By Damian Thompson Religion Last updated: October 20th, 2009

The Vatican has announced that Pope Benedict is setting up special provision for Anglicans, including married clergy, who want to convert to Rome together, preserving aspects of Anglican liturgy. They will be given their own pastoral supervision, according to this press release from the Vatican:

“In this Apostolic Constitution the Holy Father has introduced a canonical structure that provides for such corporate reunion by establishing Personal Ordinariates which will allow former Anglicans to enter full communion with the Catholic Church while preserving elements of the distinctive Anglican spiritual and liturgical patrimony.”

More on this very important story later. But this is clearly a historic gesture by Pope Benedict which will encourage thousands of disaffected Anglicans to become Roman Catholics.

RightWingNews nailed it;
If you were going to a posthumous Medal of Honor ceremony, how would you think you should act? What would you wear? Certainly you wouldn't walk in all upbeat and positive, and you wouldn't be popping the cork off a bottle of champagne. Likewise, you wouldn't walk in wearing a Hawaiian print shirt or a brightly colored cocktail dress, right?

Well, someone forgot to tell Michelle Obama that a posthumous Medal of Honor ceremony might be, I don't know, kind of a somber occasion. And she showed up dressed like this:

One Of The Joys Of Attending Mass Where They Offer The TLM
St. Francis Xavier Chapel, Camp Lejeune, NC

After we got home from Sunday Mass, I had a chance to peruse the bulletin. Under the heading of "Flu Season Precautions", there was mostly common sense calls like "stay home if you feel sick", etc, etc.

But I gotta tell ya, numbers 4 and 6 stood out in a crowd;

4. Do not hold hands during the Our Father, not merely because it could lead to the spread of germs, but more importantly because it is not rubically correct.

6. You have the choice of receiving Holy Communion under the species of Blood or not. Jesus is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in each species. He is truly and completely present under the species of Body and He is truly and completely present under the species of Blood.
And you know damn good and well that vast majority of Novus Ordo-only parishes wouldn't dare even whisper #4 to the registered self-worshipping drones.

I'll bet the "more fully under both species" crowd are apoplectic over #6.

I love it.
What Greatest "Active Measure" Could There Be...
Other than taking over "Catholic" education?

What's this guy complaining about? They already ARE destroying the Catholic Church --- from within. Don't believe me? Just take a look at the posting before this one.

In the meantime, here's some of the article from The Catholic News Agency; (Emphasis mine)

Wealthy homosexual activist advises ‘active measures’ against religious opponents

Los Angeles, Calif., Oct 16, 2009 / 03:55 am (CNA).- Delivering an acceptance speech for a GLSEN award, a wealthy homosexual activist has attacked Catholic leaders, saying they are among his movement’s “greatest adversaries.” He called on his allies to combat “head-on” religious organizations opposed to homosexual causes and to take “active measures” against them.

At its Oct. 9 Respect Awards event in Los Angeles, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) honored David Bohnett, the cable network HBO and screenwriter Shonda Rhimes with its Lifetime Achievement Award. They were awarded for what GLSEN called “their commitment to all America's students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.”

Bohnett then used his acceptance speech to attack religious groups opposed to homosexual political concerns.

“We must treat the causes of intolerance and bullying as well as the symptoms of them,” he remarked. “And as we see most often,
it is the evangelical and fundamentalist groups that teach homosexuality is a sin, who stand in the way of fairness and equality.

“It’s time to combat head-on the religious organizations that are funding the opposition to marriage equality and safe school legislation.”

The GLSEN honoree said he favored “the pursuit of spirituality” and “the wisdom and comfort and experience that can be gained through the study and belief in a higher power.” He also said it was important to support religious leaders and institutions that embrace “full equality” for homosexuals and their families.

“Let us make it known, however, that we will challenge those religious leaders and institutions that shamefully and cowardly use the imprimatur of their church and the name of god [sic] and Jesus to promote hatred and bigotry toward lesbians and gay men,” Bohnett declared. “Among our greatest adversaries who actively work against us are the leaders of the Catholic, Mormon, and evangelical churches who seek to deny equal protection for us and for our children.”

Harry Knox, a leader with the homosexual activist group Human Rights Campaign and an appointee to President Barack Obama’s advisory council on faith-based partnerships, has called Pope Benedict XVI and Catholic bishops “discredited leaders” and has attacked the Knights of Columbus as an “army of oppression” for their work to preserve the definition of marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

President Barack Obama appointed GLSEN founder Kevin Jennings as director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, the “Safe School Czar.”

Jennings, a former teacher, has come under fire for not referring to the police a male student who came to him for advice after being involved in a sexual incident with a man he met in a bathroom. Critics also question his qualifications for the office because of his past drug use and his praise for Harry Hay, a homosexual activist connected with the pedophile group NAMBLA.
And groups like Catholics For Obama, and more than a few members of the USCCB, will do everything in their power to coronate The South-Side Stooge as Pope Barry The Worst.

"Will do..."? Hell, it's already happening.
