Military and federal retirees, disabled veterans and others receiving inflation-adjusted federal benefits should not expect to see any increase this year, according to a new Congressional Budget Office estimate. Yeah, I'm a military retiree, and a COLA (Cost Of Living Allowance) increase sure would have been nice. But if my country told me to bite the bullet and suck it up, I would... and gladly.
But that's with the caveat that we ALL are biting the bullet and sucking it up equally. And is that what's happening? Hell no. Trillions for re-packaged, re-hashed out Marxist bullshit to go to sorry-assed slackers too lazy to work for a living.
But NOTHING for those who have given decades (or limbs) for their country? This must be the Hope and Change I've been hearing so much about from that son-of-a-bitch Comrade DingleBarry.

Oh Cavey, but this is change we can believe in! :-(
I wish the U.S. Congress would take those bullets and shove them up their collective @sses. The President's too.
So dang many ways to cut costs... and not a chance in heck they'd use them.
Say, instantly stop all "reintroduction suitability" studies, and actively recruit folks to lease state/fed land for animals. (actually makes for healthier forests, and brings in cash! So of course, they harass the folks with leases constantly....)
Absolutly nauseating.
How 'bout those Congress critters take a cut in pay and benefits, like, maybe lose their healthcare funding.
