Dear Sodom And Gomorrah, Sorry 'Bout That
Love, God

What happened at Sodom & Gomorrah was child's play compared to our own culture... hell, our own CHURCH!

S&G got flat-out nuked for what is commonplace today. Case in point - here's some of the article from The California Catholic Daily; (Emphasis mine) Transvestite nuns, public nudity, a person dressed as a phallus
San Francisco’s Most Holy Redeemer parish will participate again this year in the city’s “Gay Pride Weekend”

San Francisco’s Pride Weekend will once again include the participation of the AIDS Support Group at Most Holy Redeemer parish in San Francisco’s Castro District.

An announcement in the parish’s June 1 bulletin sought volunteers to help the support group staff a “major Beverage Booth in Civic Center (next to the main stage)” on Saturday, June 28, the first day of the homosexual “Pride Weekend.”

This is not the first year either Most Holy Redeemer or its AIDS Support Group has participated in “Pride Weekend.” In previous years, members of Most Holy Redeemer, carrying a parish banner, have marched in the Pride Parade – an event that features floats and marchers celebrating everything from homosexual marriage to bisexuality to polyamory. Footage of the 2005 and 2006 parades show, among parade participants, examples of public nudity (women with bared breasts, men with buttocks showing), a person dressed as a phallus, and a contingent of the transvestite group the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The footage also shows contingents from both Most Holy Redeemer and St. Agnes parish (a San Francisco church which, on its web site, calls itself: “Inclusive – Diverse – Jesuit.”).

But Most Holy Redeemer’s part in San Francisco’s “gay pride” goes much deeper. Jesuit Fr. Donal Godfrey, speaking at an October 2006 prayer service at Most Holy Redeemer, noted how the parish was the place where the rainbow flag “was first invented... for use at San Francisco’s Gay Pride in 1978.”

Priding itself as an “inclusive” parish, Most Holy Redeemer has rented its Ellard Hall facility to groups like the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and the homosexual Inter-Club Fund of San Francisco, which, last February, held its 42nd Annual Motorcycle and Leather Community Awards at the hall. The parish sponsored a booth at the homosexual Castro Street Fair on Oct. 7, 2007 – the same day San Francisco’s Archbishop George Niederauer said Mass at the parish and gave communion to two Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in full drag. (Niederauer later denied knowing they were Indulgence Sisters, and apologized.)
A week earlier, the parish had hosted an unveiling of the 2008 Desperate Diva calendar, featuring pictures of transvestites.

As noted in the June 8 parish bulletin, Most Holy Redeemer advertises in the Bay Area Reporter. The Reporter calls itself “San Francisco's oldest and largest local newspaper of record serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Founded in 1971, B.A.R. is regarded for its original writing covering news and entertainment relevant to our lives.”

Except for banning the use of the Ellard Hall by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the San Francisco archdiocese has taken no public disciplinary action against Most Holy Redeemer or its pastor, Fr. Stephen Meriwether.
2,000 years ago, St. Paul made it abundantly clear that "...God is not mocked" (Gal 6:7 Douay-Rheims Bible). And let's not forget the warning that The Blessed Mother gave at Fatima - "Do not offend the Lord our God any more, because He is already so much offended."

Archbishop Niederauer & Friends are literally playing with fire and dancing with the devil. The Archdiocese of San Francisco makes it a habit of mocking and offending The Lord.

This Animal Farm Moment Was Brought To You By...
The Archdiothese of Than Franthisco

Remember the cautionary tale of the nightmare that is Marxism better known as George Orwell's Animal Farm? I'm sure that we all remember that Orwell masterfully boiled Marxism down to the rather chilling phrase at the end of the book; "all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others".

With that said, I did a posting a handful of days back concerning the "priest" in the San Francisco Archdiocese who had banned a parishioner for the horrid sin of having pics of the REALITY of abortion on his vehicle... not that said vehicle was ever parked on church property or anything like that.

Anyhow, the "priest" in question, one Anthony McGuire, had the offending motorist, one Ross Foti, arrested for attending Mass. But that's old news...

Here's some of the article by The California Catholic Daily; (emphasis mine)

“You don’t harass them”
Pastor who had pro-life parishioner arrested takes different approach when it comes to homosexuals

Q: What do pro-life activist Ross Foti and the homosexual-friendly Most Holy Redeemer parish in San Francisco have in common?

A: Fr. Anthony E. McGuire.

McGuire is the pastor at St. Matthew’s parish in San Mateo who told Foti to cover signs of aborted babies he displayed on his truck and who recently had Foti arrested when he attended Mass at St. Matthew’s. (McGuire had banned him from the parish.) But McGuire was also the pastor who, according to a recent book, made Most Holy Redeemer parish in the Castro gay friendly in the early ‘80s. (why am I not shocked?)

In his short biography as director of the United States Bishops Pastoral Care of Migrants and Refugees, McGuire wrote that as a priest of the San Francisco archdiocese, “I pastored a parish with a large gay community and helped the community respond to an AIDS crisis in a resourceful, creative and spiritual way.” This parish was Most Holy Redeemer, which, led by the Rev. Anthony McGuire, said the Sept. 17, 1987 New York Times, “raised funds for and rented space at low cost to the Coming Home Hospice, which houses 15 AIDS patients,” among other things. (Commendable job of social work. Has he done anything for their souls? We all know the answer to that)

According to the recently published Gays and Grays: The Story of the Inclusion of the Gay Community at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish by Jesuit Fr. Donal Godfrey, San Francisco’s former archbishop, John Quinn, sent McGuire to Most Holy Redeemer in 1982 to minister to the area’s homosexuals. Quinn “chose a man who turned out to be especially suited to the new sociological profile of the parish. Under Father Anthony McGuire -- ‘Fr. Tony’ -- the parish was reborn.” (Godfrey’s quotes are from excerpts published in an Aug. 28 posting on the web site “A Shepherd’s Voice.”) (What exactly was it that made him "especially suited" to be sent to Most Holy Redeemer? Hmmm....)

Godfrey notes how the Rev. Jim Mitsulki of the homosexual Metropolitan Community Church said that, during McGuire’s time at the parish, there was “a certain revolving-door factor operating between their respective congregations. Some attended services at both churches… Sometimes parishioners from Most Holy Redeemer went to MCC for same-sex weddings they could not hold at MHR.” (I'll wager my paycheck that "Father Tony" never once seriously attempted to stop his parishoners from having so-called "same-sex weddings" over at the House of Phallo. Anyone care to bet?)

Regarding these “married” homosexual couples, Godfrey quotes McGuire: “Well the question in my mind was, the people who make a conscientious decision to live together as a gay couple, and then they come to communion, just like people who make a similar decision on birth control, you don’t harass them. You respect their decision. The next step was, ‘Can a clearly gay couple take on open ministries in the church?’ Like if a gay couple apply for ordination, that would clearly be an obex [obex is Latin term meaning “hindrance”]. What about Eucharistic Ministers? I thought maybe I should consult [Archbishop Quinn], but then we already had them!” (Sin of Comission, you have a call on line one)

Godfrey notes McGuire’s “marvelous sense of humor” – as when in the homily at his final Mass of Thanksgiving in the parish, McGuire “deadpanned that when he first arrived in the parish, he just thought ‘Hail Holy Queen’ was a good entrance hymn!” (Yeah, I'm sure The Blessed Mother got a good laugh out of that)

Then there was the AA Halloween party in the church hall, where everyone (unannounced to McGuire) was in “either in drag or wearing practically nothing!” Godfrey writes that the next day, a woman who, “in [McGuire’s] words, was ‘the second most uptight parishioner,’ called and was furious. She berated him over the impropriety of such goings-on on church property. ‘It was like Sodom and Gomorrah!’ she thundered. To which McGuire answered meekly, with his mischievous humor, ‘Well, maybe Sodom’.” (isn't he just the cutest?)

McGuire told California Catholic Daily that he does not think “anything our church teaches says we should be anti-homosexuals. We take each person on their journey to God and help them along the way.” When asked whether he agreed that homosexual acts are sinful, McGuire replied, “I accept the teaching of the Church, but I also accept individual people who are trying to come closer to the Lord, to help them along the way.” (masterful double-talk)

Asked whether, in accepting the teaching of the Church, he affirmed that homosexual acts are sinful, McGuire said, “I accept the fact that, yeah, homosexual acts are essentially disordered, is the way that the Church explains it.”
(Oh... "as The Church explains it")
Clearly, "Father Tony" cares more for the salvation of society, and doesn't give a damn about the salvation of souls. And the last three Archbishops of that particular Archdiocese are going to have one helluva lot to answer for.

Hey, isn't one of them a Cardinal right now?

'When Sissy Dogs Attack!'
9 Eastern and Pacific, 8 Central

In a sick sort of way, I feel sorry for Achbishop Niederauer. It would seem that he's made a career out of endearing himself to every far-left loon, all in the twisted "Spirit" of Vatican II.

I know this is kind of a long read, but I ask that you stick with it.

After 40+ years of ingratiating themselves to the Sons of Sodom, did anyone really think this wouldn't be the natural consequence of all the milquetoasts within The Church, both cleric and lay?

Here's some of the article from The California Catholic Daily; (Emphasis mine)
“Poisonous tenor”
San Francisco ‘gay pride’ group votes to dishonor archbishop at behest of Most Holy Redeemer parishioner

At the urging of a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, the San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration Committee has voted to dishonor Archbishop George Niederauer with a “Pink Brick” award for causing “significant harm to the LGBT community.”

The decision was spurred by Matt Dorsey, a member of the Parish Council at San Francisco's ‘gay friendly’ Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. In an opinion piece written for the homosexual-oriented newspaper Bay Area Reporter, Dorsey objected to the original decision by the Pride Celebration Committee to award the Pink Brick to dethroned Miss California, Carrie Prejean. Dorsey said “we need not have looked beyond our own city limits: San Francisco Archbishop George Niederauer” in a column published under the headline
“Niederauer deserves Pink Brick.”

Archbishop Niederauer was singled out for his support last year of Proposition 8, the successful initiative constitutional amendment adopted by voters restricting marriage to between one man and one woman and later upheld by the California Supreme Court. "We hope that with this Pink Brick, we can educate the community about Archbishop Niederauer's work to deny LGBT couples equal protection under the law,” Mikayla Connell, president of the Pride Celebration Committee told the Reporter. “Archbishop Niederauer's support of Proposition 8, which is not representative of all faith communities or even of all Catholics, has only served to harm LGBT families, many of whom are Catholic themselves."

Dorsey also attacked the Archdiocese of San Francisco for “the poisonous tenor” of campaign materials provided under the auspices of the archdiocese in support of Proposition 8. “Clearly, no one expected Archbishop Niederauer to break with the Vatican on the issue of marriage equality,” wrote Dorsey. “But few were prepared for the spiritual leader of 400,000 Bay Area Catholics to offer the imprimatur of our church to such dishonest, divisive and deliberately hurtful rhetoric.”

According to the web site of Most Holy Redeemer Church, Dorsey is a member of the nine-person Parish Pastoral Council, charged with “responding to the needs of parishioners by proposing pastoral initiatives, policies, and programs, or themes in cooperation with the Pastor, pastoral staff and relevant archdiocesan resources and ministries.” The council also meets twice a year with the Parish Finance Committee “to review the financial condition of the parish and consult regarding the annual budget.”

According to a biography posted on the Most Holy Redeemer web site, Dorsey has been a parishioner since 2004. His past activities have included organizing the parish’s contingent to annual ‘gay pride’ parades, and arranging a parish presence at the annual Castro Street Fair. Dorsey is employed as communications director for San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera.

Most Holy Redeemer, located in the city’s Castro District, has repeatedly made news over the years for its homosexual-friendly activities: it is the parish where Archbishop Niederauer gave Communion to two transvestites dressed as nuns in 2007 (the archbishop later apologized), the parish where the same group of transvestite “nuns” – the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence – once held bingo games to raise money until they were kicked out on orders of the chancery in 2006, and the parish that regularly sends a contingent to San Francisco “gay pride” parade until ordered by the archdiocese to stop participating in the event. According Jesuit Fr. Donal Godfrey, currently director of university ministry at the University of San Francisco, the parish is where the so-called “rainbow flag,” the banner of the homosexual-rights movement, was invented.
And for those who rhetorically ask why don't these individuals just leave The Church? They won't. Why? They simply are of the desire to destroy The Catholic Church.

And for Abp. Niederauer, when you lie with dogs, don't be surprised when you get fleas. This is your fault. You brought this on yourself.

If the Sodomite community is of the opinion that you've abandoned them, allow me to remind you that many of the Faithful have come to the conclusion that you've abandoned Catholicism long ago... and political correctness and Modernism have become your new god.

Perhaps this is the catalyst needed to have you defend the Church without apology or conditions.

The Sodom And Gomorrah Mass
"Presided" over by the Archbishop of San Francisco himself

From the California Catholic Daily;

"Queer nuns” get Communion
Men in drag dressed as nuns receive Blessed Sacrament from the archbishop himself at San Francisco parish

Archbishop George Niederauer gave Holy Communion to two men dressed in drag as nuns during an Oct. 7 visit to Most Holy Redeemer parish in San Francisco, witnesses who attended the Mass told California Catholic Daily.

Photos of the archbishop’s visit were taken by a member of the St. Joseph’s Men Society, and have been disseminated across the Internet. (California Catholic Daily publishes today with this story three of the photos, and hopes in the next few days to have links to video and audio tapes of the Mass.)

The men dressed in drag as nuns were apparently members of a group that calls itself the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, who say they are “the leading-edge order of queer nuns,” and whose official slogan is “go forth and sin some more.”

Until late October 2006, the group had leased Most Holy Redeemer church’s Ellard Hall for a fundraiser for HIV/AIDS programs, but the San Francisco archdiocese abruptly cancelled the group’s lease two days before a scheduled November event.

Archbishop Niederauer also gave the homily at the Oct. 7 Mass, a homily one witness called “generic and non-descript.” Said the witness, “He could have used the occasion to preach to them, but he didn’t.”

Most Holy Redeemer and its pastor, Father Stephen Meriwether, have long been known for their friendliness to the homosexual population of the Castro district, where the church is located. The parish, says its website, “prides itself in being an inclusive Catholic community -- embracing all people of good faith... regardless of their background, gender, race, social status or sexual orientation.”

Parish members, wearing Most Holy Redeemer T-shirts and bearing a parish sign, have over the years participated in San Francisco’s Gay Pride Parade; the parish website features pictures of the 2006 parade, one showing two men about to kiss. On the day of the archbishop’s visit, the parish had a booth at the Castro Street Fair, a major homosexual event in San Francisco.

The web site of Holy Redeemer parish published more than 140 photos of Archbishop Niederauer’s visit to the parish, but none of them shows the “queer nuns.”

“Thank you, Archbishop Niederauer, for your visit to MHR Parish! We appreciate your kind words and pastoral concern,” says the parish web site.

When There's No difference Between The Wolf And The Shepherd
Welcome to the Archdiocese of Sham Franthithco

One of the few bad memories I had in The Corps, was every so often there would be some young Corporal or Buck Sergeant (usually someone who was promoted way too quickly) who would have the responsibility to pass the word to the troops concerning an upcoming rather unpleasant task. And keep in mind, the troops aren't dummies... they can spot a phony and a weakling a mile away.

But anyhow, whenever Cpl. (or Sgt.) Gutless would make his sad pronouncement, invariably, the troops would moan and groan for effect. And without fail, Cpl. or Sgt. Gutless would fall back on "but it's not me... it's that lousy Gunny/1st Sgt/Company Commander, etc." And in time, the troops took great delight in reducing Cpl. (or Sgt.) Gutless to Cpl. (or Sgt.) Doormat.

As a matter of fact, we use to have a word for individuals like Cpl. (or Sgt.) Gutless... eventually, their brand spankin' new first name was either Private or PFC.

And sadly, The Catholic Church has MORE than their share of individuals like Cpl. and Sgt. Gutless. What's even worse, those in positions of power and authority within The Church don't seem to ever get around to shitcanning these ass-wipes... more often than not, they're promoted.
Case in point, here's some of the article from The California Catholic Daily; (Comments and emphasis mine)
“His parishioners share the vandals' sentiment”
San Francisco’s ‘gay-friendly’ parish defaced by anti-Catholic hoodlums

Vandals spray-painted swastikas and the message “Niederauer, Ratzinger – where is the love” on the front walls of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in San Francisco sometime Saturday night, Jan. 3, even though the parish is widely known as “gay-friendly.” Police are investigating the crime.

Most Holy Redeemer, located in the city’s Castro District, has repeatedly made news over the years for its homosexual-friendly activities: it is the parish where San Francisco Archbishop George Niederauer gave Communion to two transvestites dressed as nuns in 2007 (the archbishop later apologized), the parish where the same group of transvestite “nuns” – the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence – once held bingo games to raise money until they were kicked out on orders of the chancery in 2006, and the parish that regularly sends a contingent to each year’s San Francisco “gay pride” parade. According Jesuit Fr. Donal Godfrey, currently director of university ministry at the University of San Francisco, the parish is where the so-called “rainbow flag,” the banner of the homosexual-rights movement, was invented.

Fr. Steve Meriwether, pastor of Most Holy Redeemer, said his parishioners “actually share the vandals' sentiment against Prop 8,” according to a KCBS news report. "I think it's unfortunate that they selected our community to attack, because it's the wrong one," Fr. Meriwether told KCBS.
(So who exactly is the right target? By the way... this guy's been telling The Church to go to hell for years now, and he's still running a parish? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over.)

Before California voters approved Proposition 8 in November, the constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages, an e-mailed flyer from Archbishop Niederauer supporting the proposition created a stir at Most Holy Redeemer, prompting a parishioner to compare the archbishop to political operative Karl Rove in a column published in the San Francisco Chronicle. The parish also announces the baptisms of the adopted children of same-sex couples in its weekly parish bulletin, including the names of the same-sex parents. Several lay functionaries at the parish have been “married” in same-sex ceremonies, though not in the church itself.

The New York-based Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights issued a statement yesterday condemning the vandalism, but placed some of the responsibility for such attacks on San Francisco’s elected leaders.
(Bullshit. How about blame in the joke that calls itself "leadership" in this particular Archdiocese.)
But then again, this headline from the San Francisco Chronichle says it all
Vandals desecrate pro-gay Catholic churchWhat in the hell is a "pro-gay" Catholic church? We're living in apostate times.

WHOA!! Back The Truck Up...
Beep, beep, beep, beep!

Warning!! Crude langua... blah, blah, blah

In the on again off again, in is out, up is down, wrong is right, world of the Archdiocese of Than Franthisco, it was first reported that Most Holy Redeemer Faith Community and Sodomotorium WAS going to participate in the anal... oops, I mean annual Fag-Fest better known as "Gay Pride Week". Personally, I find very little to be proud in the fact that one's rectum is turned inside out. That is unless your nom de bandit de trou de cul happens to be Blossom.

Anyhow, this little psycho-drama (heavy emphasis on psycho) hasn't come to an end juuuuuuuust quite yet. Here's some of the article from The California Catholic Daily; (Emphasis and comments mine)“A 100 percent chance we will not be in the parade”
San Francisco parishes won’t join this year’s “gay pride” march, but Most Holy Redeemer will have beverage booth

Two parishes with a history of openly participating in San Francisco’s annual “gay pride” parade will not be joining the spectacle this year after the city’s archbishop requested that they desist and because, according to their pastors, interest among parishioners has faded.
(Or maybe they're all just dying off from the Anally Inserted Death Serum?)

Fr. Steve Meriwether, pastor of Most Holy Redeemer Church in San Francisco’s predominantly homosexual Castro District, said parishioners chose not to participate of their own volition. “It is really just our response to… well, we’re tired of the hate mail,” he said. ((Does that mean the the Letters of St Paul to the Corinthians (1 Cor 6:10); the Romans (Rom 1:24-27); and to St. Timothy (1 Tim 1:10) all qualify as hate mail?))

“The parishioners see their participation in the parade as an evangelical outreach, but they don’t enjoy being called nasty names either. This wasn’t because of any request from the archdiocese.” (Translation: screw you, Mister Mansy-Wansy, meany-weeny Archbishop!)

The June 1 Most Holy Redeemer bulletin, however, indicates the parish will participate in the weekend’s events by sponsoring a beverage booth near San Francisco’s Civic Center, next to the main stage, on Saturday, June 28. Members of MHR’s AIDS Support Group will staff the booth. “There’s a 100 percent chance we will not be in the parade this year, but the AIDS Support Group will have a beverage booth to raise funds for AIDS services,” said Robert Pementell, director of the group.
So they're not actually IN the parade, but are still PARTICIPATING in the events. Hmmm... kinda reminds me of the Gospel of Bill Clinton - oral sex isn't marital infidelity.

Whoda Thunkit?
Heretical "Catholic" parish in bed with homosexuals (pun intended)

Helmet tip to my goomba Unitas over at Altare Dei

Not too long ago, I posted the story concerning the so-called "Catholic" parish (Most Holy Redeemer) in San Francisco (what a shock) that not only held a "Gay Mass", but also had its parish priest, Father Stephen Meriweather, bless participants in the San Francisco's annual gay pride march.

Said parish priest also has held such activities as transvestite bingo nights during which sex toys and pornographic DVDs were handed out as prizes. And of course the anti-Catholic bunch "The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" (above right) were the ones who were in charge during queer bingo nights.

But anyhow, it's been hitting the Catholic blogosphere that the infamous San Francisco Folsom Street Fair is about to kick off... and the organizers of which have portrayed Christ and his disciples as half-naked homosexual sadomasochists in the event's promotional advertisement.

But guess what fellow bloglodytes? Most Holy Redeemer "Catholic" parish is right in there with in line with the festivities. Get ready for this... the "SF Desperate Divas 2008 Drag Calendar Grand Pageant" will be held on Sept 29th. Here's the description from the website;

Twelve of the Bay Area's most delicious drag divas will compete for the Crown and Title of Miss Desperate Diva 2008, culminating in the big reveal of who will grace the cover of the 2008 Desperate Divas Drag calendar, which will be available for purchase for the first time at the event.

It went on to state;

We must reinvent change. This year's theme: TRANSITIONS implies willful change. Leading the change. Being in the drivers seat of life. We will use our calendar to inspire people to make changes in their personal lives to overcome obstacles and to get to a better space. To live a powerful life. To live with Hope. To rise up and take life. To no longer live in the shadows with the shadow people. To grab the spotlight and make it shine on you. To shout to the world "I Am Worthy". To show the world just how miraculous we are. (So what does any of that have to do with a bunch of circus freaks posing for an equally freakish calender? But silly me. These folks consider a fecally encrusted penis to be "normal".)

To be disabled. To be poor. To have AIDS. To be outside the gender norm. To be everything that is hated and scorned and to still be FABULOUS. (As long as you're fabulous...)

TRANSITIONS is to take the cross of oppression we've been bearing, to turn it upside down and use it as our stage. (Our Crosses come in many forms. I don't think "stage form" is one of them)

Now take a wild guess where this is being held. You guessed it... Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. And this abomination will take place on the eve of the Folsom Street Fair.

Do you think the timing is coincidental? Me neither.

By The Fruits, You Shall Know Them
And the sound and fury accompanying them

Cardinal George of Chicago recently made some noise concerning the heretical New Ways Ministry. Specifically, here's a bit of what he stated; (Emphasis mine)

“No one should be misled by the claim that New Ways Ministry provides an authentic interpretation of Catholic teaching and an authentic Catholic pastoral practice. Their claim to be Catholic only confuses the faithful regarding the authentic teaching and ministry of the Church with respect to persons with a homosexual inclination. Accordingly, I wish to make it clear that, like other groups that claim to be Catholic but deny central aspects of Church teaching, New Ways Ministry has no approval or recognition from the Catholic Church and that they cannot speak on behalf of the Catholic faithful in the United States.”Well isn't that special?

New Ways Ministry has countered with their listing of "gay friendly parishes nation-wide". Dozens and dozens of parishes that the Lavender Mafia staked out for their own.

The USCCB knows it, and predictably, not a damn thing will happen because of it. Think certain pastors will be replaced? For some reason, the words "snowball's chance" and "hell" come to mind. And notice that six cathedrals and five official shrines are also on the below listing. Shameful.

Oh, and another reason as to why the above proclamation by Cdl. George is essentially hot wind? Scroll down to the Sodomite-Parish listing and see just how many are within the city limits of Chicago. Never mind the other Illinois cities that fall into Cdl. George's jurisdiction.

Here's what I predict will happen now that H.E. has thrown down the gauntlet:

Nothing. He'll skulk back to the shadows and write another check to CCC and the other pro-homosexual/pro-abortion groups the USCCB is saddled up with. Bet on it.

In the meantime, here the (in)famous listing of butt-sniffers that have infiltrated The Church.

Brokeback Parishes
Yeah, I stole the title idea from Jay

Ask most any priest who you just know is sodomite-friendly if he is, in fact, catering to the Sodom and Gomorrah clientele, and the answer will be "Oh of course not. Don't be such a big silly!" or words to that effect.

So whadda we do? Simple, fellow Blog-lodytes, go to the source. Over at GalPal's.com, they have a listing of pervert friendly parishes.

Now when Father Brucie over at St. Sugarbritches feigns ignorance about his parish being a gathering spot for the morally disordered, you can point out to him "well Father, YOU may not consider this parish to to queer-friendly... but THEY sure as hell do".

Worshipping in Sin City
Travels with Internet-challenged Former Altar Boy

I was in Las Vegas last weekend and attended Mass at the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer. It might surprise you to learn (as I was, the first time I went there), that so many Catholics – primarily visitors -- actually attend Mass on Sunday that the cathedral on the north end of the “Strip” couldn’t handle the crowds. So, the diocese built this huge shrine – 2,200 seating capacity – at the south end (near the Mandalay Bay and Tropicana, if you know Vegas). It’s a “shrine” because it’s not a parish. (Aside: if it’s not a parish, does that mean locals who attend services at the shrine cannot be baptized, confirmed, or married there? Good – maybe they’ll understand how Catholics attending the indult Masses around the country feel about not being able to receive ALL the sacraments in the Tridentine Rite.)

The shrine has a vigil Mass at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and three Masses on Sunday. I was at the 10 a.m. service and it was about 90% full.

Inside, the ceiling slopes up from the low back to very high above the altar. The front outside can be seen in the photo. Upon entering and looking down the long center aisle, the first thing any Catholic would notice is the lack of a crucifix over the altar. No, don’t picture it with a cross minus the corpus. There is nothing but this huge, probably 30 feet wide and 40 feet high pastel tile mosaic that, I guess, is supposed to look like clouds. Of course, the General Instruction for the Roman Missal (GIRM) requires a crucifix near the altar. Along the front walls that slope out from the altar are several large niches with huge statuary scenes. The one nearest the altar on the right - but distinctively separate from the altar - is Christ on the cross and three people (likely the Blessed Virgin, St. John, and St. Mary Magdalene) standing below.

Front and center below the tile mosaic and behind the plain, simple altar is the “presider’s” chair. (Who’s important here?) Slightly off to the left, but, thank God, in full view of the congregation and not stuck in some broom closet, is the tabernacle for the reserved Blessed Sacrament with a white (?) sanctuary light burning above it. (What? Red was too traditional?)

Before Mass, the rector (remember, it’s not a parish, so there is no pastor), Father Bianchi (I wonder if he’s related to the holster manufacturer?) stood at the front of the church below the sanctuary, and told everyone about the shrine and current happenings. For example, he told us about the building fund. For a school? Of course not. Aren’t you paying attention? This isn’t a parish. They’re expanding the gift shop! This is Las Vegas. Even the church has to have a tourist trap. Father then reminded everyone about us being part of the universal Church and being as most everyone was a visitor, we should introduce ourselves to our neighbor and say where we were from. That hand-shaking nonsense interrupting the Eucharist Prayer of the New Mass drives me nuts, but before Mass, and given the location, this seemed quite natural. As it turned out, the couple in front of me where from Ohio and the guy next to me was from Budapest, Hungary.

Understand, I am a caveman Catholic, as in “old school.” I was raised, at home and school, with the belief that “Rome has spoken, it is done.” So, while I prefer the traditional Latin Mass, I fully accept the New Mass and can enjoy it when it is done properly and reverently. However, anything contrary to the GIRM or that smacks of personal innovation by the celebrant, will distract me and probably piss me off.

Having been there twice before, I know Fr. Bianchi gives a good homily. Unfortunately, we had a visiting priest from a local hospice. His homily lasted about ten minutes. Well, my mind was off on something else – probably that missing crucifix in the sanctuary – and the homily was over before I really got into it. (Aside: as bad as the Vatican II modernists want to Protestantize the Catholic Church, a whole lot of our priests could take some preaching lessons from the Prots. Or, better yet, go listen to some Bishop Sheen tapes.)

I know how many modernist churches are into standing throughout the Liturgy of the Eucharist. In Mahoney’s kingdom, I think it’s the law. Not here (thank God.) Everyone stayed kneeling until after the Great Amen.

I’ll give this to Holy Redeemer. They have a good organist (no guitars, bongos, etc.) and their music is always pretty traditional. And it’s one place where Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist makes sense, given the nearly 2,000 people. They had seven (one man and six women) in addition to the celebrant and Fr. Bianchi.

If you’re even in Las Vegas, Holy Redeemer can be the place for your Sunday obligation. Ask for their handy little map and Mass schedule when you check in at your hotel.

Where Do You Hide A Fag On The Run?
Oops... "fag" isn't the right word. One of the "fruits of Vatican II" is what I was looking for

Helmet tip to The Unseen Blogger

From AzFamily.com in Phoenex, Arizona; (Emphasis mine) Fugitive sex offender, former priest arrested in California

PHOENIX - The following is a press release from the Department of Justice U.S. Marshals:

Late yesterday morning Deputy U.S. Marshals and Task Force Officers from the Phoenix based Child Predator Apprehension Team in addition to the Northern California Fugitive Task Force arrested fugitive sex offender and former Catholic Priest Wilputte Alanson Sherwood, 63, as he was leaving the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in San Francisco, California.

Wilputte Sherwood was originally convicted in 1993 of Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, and Dangerous Crimes against Children in Maricopa County. It was alleged that Sherwood kept extensive logs and video tapes of many of his sexual encounters with numerous underage boys.
Sherwood subsequently served 10 years in an Arizona prison and was released in 2003. It has been reported Sherwood targeted over 3600 individuals for sexual interludes spanning 12 years and five different parishes.

It is estimated Sherwood had over 1800 sexual affairs resulting from Sherwood roaming the streets of Phoenix targeting hitchhikers and runaways.
Did anyone else catch the name of the den of iniquity... oops... I mean "parish" he was nailed coming out of? That's right, Most Holy Redeemer. And for those of you who frequent The Lair, you know that I've posted about them before...

Faggot is as faggot does.

Yet Again, The Catholic Church Is Told To Go To Hell
Archbishop Nierderauer needs to go... NOW!

Remember me posting about the garbage going on at Holy Redeemer allegedly "Catholic" parish? Guess what... things haven't changed. Hell, NOTHING'S changed.

Nierderauer is either the most clueless individual in the history of The Church, or he wholeheartedly agrees with the Sodomization that's taking place within his Archdiocese. After reading this... you make the call.

Here's some of the article from the homocentric Bay Area Reporter; (emphasis and comments mine)

Trick story It's time to celebrate 30 years of queers and friends playing bridge in spades at a club in the heart of the Castro. We're talking about QuickTricks Bridge Club. Often doubled and sometimes vulnerable, many partners (and former partners) have gathered together weekly to pull off a squeeze play, finesse deeply, and make a grand slam in hearts. The group first met in 1978 at a Gay Pride Center on Grove St., but soon found a home at the Castro's MCC on Eureka St., meeting there twice a week until that building's unexpected closure in 2006.

One year ago, QuickTricks found a new home in Ellard Hall at Most Holy Redeemer Church at the corner of 18th and Diamond. Two separate sections of duplicate bridge, one limited and one open, are offered Monday nights at 7 p.m. Plenty of queens in this deck! On Mon., Feb. 11, the Club will hold its special annual game to honor Tadd Waggoner , one of the beloved original club founders who ran QuickTricks for many years, until his death from AIDS in 1993.
(Death from AIDS, 'eh? That's usually what happens when one continually plays Rectum Roulette. Hey.... careful where you point that thang!)

Ahhh... Another "Springtime Of The Church" Moment
Brought to you by the Lavender Mafia

Dear USCCB,
Thanks for nothing.

As the old saying goes, a dead fish rots from the head down. Here's some of a rather interesting article from The Christian Post; (Emphasis mine) Survey: Americans Divided on Homosexuality as Sin
By Audrey Barrick
Christian Post Reporter

Fri, Jun. 06 2008 08:16 AM ET

Americans are nearly evenly divided on whether they believe homosexual behavior is a sin, a new survey showed. While 48 percent of Americans agree it is a sin, 45 percent said they don't believe homosexuality is sinful, according to a LifeWay Research study, released Wednesday.

[Director of LifeWay Research] Ed Stetzer also called it surprising to find that
the majority of Catholics (55 percent) do not believe homosexual behavior is a sin. Only 39 percent of Catholics called it a sin.

Catholics were also most likely to say same-sex attraction is inevitable and determined at birth. Thirty percent of Catholics said that that is what contributes most to homosexuality compared to 20 percent of Protestants, 12 percent of born agains, and 24 percent of Americans overall.

The born-again, evangelical, fundamentalist group (48 percent) is most likely to believe homosexuality is a choice while 42 percent of Protestants, 41 percent of Catholics and 39 percent of Americans agree, saying "choice" is what contributes most to same-sex attraction.
I normally don't put a lot of stock in what a Protestant group tells me that the pulse of Catholicism is this way or that way, but I think in this case, they're right.

After all, I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I've been to more than one parish where even the cast of La Cage aux Folles would look at the priest and say "damn... that dude's a fag."

UPDATE!!

Thanks to both Mr & Mrs NYPD and to Christine for passing this info on to me. Here's the meat and potatoes of the article from LifeSiteNews.com; (Emphasis mine) San Francisco Archdiocese Puts Kibosh on Church's Plans for Gay Pride Parade
By Peter J. Smith

SAN FRANCISCO, June 11, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The San Francisco Catholic parish that gave the homosexual movement its rainbow flag will have a new surprise in store at the upcoming annual gay pride weekend in San Francisco: they are not coming.

The San Francisco Catholic Archdiocese has asked Most Holy Redeemer Parish in the Castro district not to participate this year and the parish has so far agreed.
Hell, that only took how many years? By the way... what's this "asked" and "so far agreed" bullshit? Who the hell's in charge, anyways?

More Craziness From The Land Of Fruits And Nuts
...or would that be "piers and queers"?

WARNING! Exceedingly crude references to homosexuality. If you are easily insulted by such, I suggest you pass on this posting.

I've read recently that when The Holy Father visits the Land of the Free later this Spring, that he may be coming down hard on American "Catholic" Universities. If that's the truth, I suggest he start by bulldozing over the Jesuit-run (big shocker, huh?) University of Than Franthithco. Then set fire to whatever combustible material may be left, then piss on the ashes. And of course, a heavy dousing of salt over the entire contaminated area juuuuuust to be sure.

What prompted this posting? Ohhh, just that latest in the litany of bull shit oozing forth from USF. Here's some of the latest from the California Catholic Daily; (Emphasis mine)

“Beyond the confines of the Roman church”
USF theology professor is ordained priest, but not a Catholic one

In a letter printed in the March 21 edition of Catholic San Francisco, Jesuit Father Stephen Privett took author George Weigel to task for saying in a column that Catholicism is “vestigial at best” on Catholic college campuses. In response, Privett said the University of San Francisco, of which he is president, “has a Catholic Studies program; a Catholic focused curriculum in the Theology and Religious Studies Department,” as well as other Catholic-inspired programs and activities.

USF may have all these things, but it also has Vincent Pizzuto, who, besides being assistant professor in the university’s Department of Theology and Religious Studies, is also an ordained priest in the Celtic Christian Church. Pizzuto also serves on the board of directors of the LGBTQ Caucus of the University of San Francisco, which says it was formed in the Fall of 2005 “as a way to promote social justice for LGBTQ people.”

According to the USF web site, “in addition to his teaching, Prof. Pizzuto lectures in local parishes on areas of prayer and spirituality with particular outreach to the gay and lesbian community.”

In a discussion, “Is it Ethical to be Catholic? – Queer Perspectives,” given at Most Holy Redeemer Church in San Francisco in 2006, Pizzuto said that ethical questions have “driven faithful Catholics beyond the confines of the Roman church where they might more faithfully live out their catholic faith elsewhere. And I count myself among them.”

Pizzuto was ordained a "Celtic Christian" priest in San Francisco in July 2006. He serves as “presider” over the New Skellig community in the Bay Area, which, says its web site, is a “catholic contemplative community of lay people” meeting “in small intimate settings in the homes of its members.”
As they say Down South (and I'll clean it up) - "that boy may not [engage in homosexual oral sex], but I guarantee he'd swish it around in his mouth four or five times."

Oh, and someone might want to remind the fudge packing-friendly crew over at USF that the Profession of Faith and The Oath Of Fidelity On Assuming An Office To Be Exercised In The Name Of The Church from 1998 specifically states; Canon 833, Nos. 5-8 obliges the following to make the profession of faith: "the rectors of an ecclesiastical or Catholic university at the beginning of the rector's term of office"; and, "at the beginning of their term of office, teachers in any universities whatsoever who teach disciplines which deal with faith or morals"...In other words, "Father" Sugar Britches needs to be shit canned. But then again, "shit can" is probably a queer euphemism for the poop chute for the male of the species. And the last thing any of us need is another Backdoor Conquistador on the campus of USF whipped up into a rectally recreational feeding frenzy.

Know what I mean, Vern?

Slash And Burn Homo-Theology
Another Jesuit swishes into town

Here's some of the story from The California Catholic Daily;

The “truth of the rainbow” at USF
Jesuit university’s new director of University Ministry aims to help people “be better, whatever they are.”

A Jesuit priest who told the London Daily Mail this year that “being gay is not special” – “it’s simply another gift from God who created us as rainbow people,” has become the Jesuit University of San Francisco’s director of University Ministry. Fr. Donal Godfrey, who has been the ministry’s associate director, took over the directorship from Jesuit Fr. John Savard, who stepped down Aug. 1.

In a university news release, Godfrey praised Savard for “opening up University Ministry in many ways.” Godfrey said he himself wants to “respond to new challenges.” Godfrey finds it paradoxical “that it is precisely at a Jesuit Catholic university that we can find God’s image in people whose color, faith, culture, language, background, and sexual orientation is different from our own.” Godfrey wants the ministry “to help celebrate that we are Jesuit, Catholic, and a place that welcomes those of all faiths and none, all at the same time.”

Godfrey has been a fixture at San Francisco’s Most Holy Redeemer, a parish deeply involved in homosexual activism, including participation in the city’s yearly Gay Pride parade. Last October, Godfrey presided at a prayer service (broadcast by the BBC on April 22) celebrating homosexuality. At the service, Godfrey said, “most often our churches make it difficult to acknowledge, let alone celebrate, the truth of the rainbow. But in all of this I believe it is God who calls and loves all of us, whatever our sexual orientation.”

This guy's molding young Catholic minds? It's official... a soul can be raped.

Video Of The Sodom & Gomorrah Mass
From Quamdiu Domine

Here it is, ladies and gents.

All I can figure is, the Lavender Mafia is throwing down the gauntlet with The Holy Father to see just how much garbage they can get away with. If His Holiness isn't unmistakeably decisive in his corrective actions... and damn soon... said Lavender Mafia will take that as weakness on his part, and that will only embolden them.

But if you want to read the absolute height of arrogance, see here what LifeSiteNews.com posted as the response from Archbishop Nierderauer;

A statement by Archbishop Niederauer sent to LifeSiteNews.com by Archdiocesan communications director Maurice Healy says that the Archbishop did not notice any "mock religious garb."

"At Most Holy Redeemer Church Oct. 7, I noticed no protest, no demonstration, no disruption of the Sunday Eucharist," said Archbishop Nierderauer. "The congregation was devout and the liturgy was celebrated with reverence. Toward the end of the Communion line two strangely dressed persons came to receive Communion. I did not see any mock religious garb. As I recall, one of them wore a large flowered hat or garland."

*Shaking my head in disbelief* Know what? I know he's an Archbishop, and all... but I gotta be honest on this one. Either he's that stupid not to know about "The Sisters", or he thinks that all of us are that stupid to believe him.

Archbishop Nierderauer is either an imbecile or a liar.

Didn't I Warn Bishop Cordileone?
You knew it was only a matter of time

Don't you love it when things fall into place? Not all that long ago I was somewhat chastised for using the word "faggot". I've also warned the new bishop of the Diocese of Oakland, California, His Excellency Bishop Salvatore Cordileone would be back-stabbed by his own people.

Try not to vomit in your mouth (even a little) as you read this article from The California Catholic Daily; (Emphasis mine)
Queering the Rosary
“Relational Mysteries” Prayed at Berkeley’s Newman Center

When Oakland’s Bishop Salvatore Cordileone visited Berkeley’s Jesuit School of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union on September 22, he was greeted by approximately 20 protestors. The protestors were seminarians and faculty from the theological union’s schools. The bishop was there to commemorate the merging of the Jesuit school with Santa Clara University. The protesters were there to oppose Bishop Cordileone for his defense of natural marriage.

According to the QueerToday.com website, protestors included Rev. Dr. Rebecca Parker, president of the Starr King (Unitarian Universalist) School of Ministry; Rev. Roland Stringfellow, the organizer of the GTU’s Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies; Rev. Sanna Reinholtzen, a Lutheran minister; and
graduate student Eugene McMullan, apparently a Catholic.

According to the Bay Area Reporter, Mr. McMullan is the founder of Catholics for Marriage Equality. There is more than one organization with that name; presumably they mean the one in the bay area. On August 13, the BAR published an article called “Pray for Equality Outside St. Mary‘s.“ The article began: “The recently formed Catholics for Marriage Equality will be holding a prayer vigil outside St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco Saturday, August 15, which is the feast of the Assumption. Organizer Eugene McMullan noted that on the Assumption, the Catholic Church celebrates Mary being bodily raised into heaven. Catholics for Marriage Equality will be praying the rosary while contemplating the Relational Mysteries.”

Many Catholics, even devout ones, may be excused for never having heard of the “Relational Mysteries.” That’s because they exist nowhere except on the agenda of homosexual activists. According to the June 2009 issue of “Impact“, the international newsletter of the Metropolitan Community Church, under the heading “Queering the Rosary,” the “relational mysteries” were devised by Mr. McMullan.

A crystal-clear description of purpose of the “Relational Mysteries” was given in the online calendar of the New Spirit/MCC Church in Berkeley. The entry was for an event held on Sunday, May 31, 2009, and reads: “GTU doctoral student Eugene McMullan and Reverend Jim Mitulski will lead a two part class on "Praying the Queer Rosary," based on stories from the bible which depict Queer Families or Relationships. The class will include a brief history of the rosary, introduction to Catholic devotions, sharing of stories, and praying together.”

The MCC is an overtly homosexual activist church; that was its founding purpose, so it is not surprising to see such an event held there. Unfortunately, the homosexual activists have managed to introduce the “relational mysteries” into at least one Catholic parish as well. The September 13 web bulletin of Berkeley’s Newman Hall - Holy Spirit Parish announces: “Praying the Rosary in solidarity with LGBT Catholics. Join us Sept. 17, 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the lounge as we explore the Relational Mysteries: Fidelity—Ruth's pledge to Naomi (Ruth 1:16-18); Grief—The parting of David and Jonathan (I Sam 20:35-42); Intercession—Esther intercedes for her people (Est 4:9-5:2); Restoration—the raising of Lazarus (John 11:38-44); and Discipleship—the two encounter Christ on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35). The group will be co-facilitated by Mike Campos and Eugene McMullan, Ph.D. students at the Graduate Theological Union.”

One may ask just how these biblical events fit in to the homoactivist agenda. The process is defined as “eisegesis” (the interpretation of a text by reading into it one's own ideas) as opposed to “exegesis,” and it seems to be an ecumenical practice among religious homosexual activists. For example, the relationship between Ruth and Naomi will be interpreted as a lesbian one. The relationship between Saul, David, and Jonathon was interpreted by Episcopal Reverend John Kirkley, one of the nominees to be the next Episcopal suffragan bishop of Los Angeles, as a “Biblical Love Triangle.” The raising of Lazarus was the subject of a homily at San Francisco’s Most Holy Redeemer by Fr. Donal Godfrey, the executive director of University Ministry at USF. He titled his homily
“The Call to Come Out.”

If God doesn't do something soon to diocese such as this, He'll owe Sodom and Gomorrah an apology.

40 Hours Devotion

O Jesus, let him live to be a priest!!!!!!!!

Please join us in our 40 Hours Devotion to pray for Philip Johnson. This devotion dates back to about the year 1534. It consists in solemn exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on the altar for forty hours. We are going have a 40 Hours Devotion to offer our prayers for Phillip Johnson. Philip is a seminarian who is spending the summer at our parish, Sacred Heart Church in Dunn, NC. He has a brain tumor and will begin a new round of aggressive chemotherapy on June 15th. The 40 Hours Devotion will begin June 10th at the 12:15pm Mass and go till Saturday June 12th at 8am. June 11th is the Feast of the Sacred Heart so we will be praying especially to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for Phillip.

We are a small parish and we need your help. We need people to come and pray for an hour before the Blessed Sacrament for Philip for the specific intention that he is allowed to live to be a priest. If you would like to reserve an hour you can call the church office at 910-891-1972 from 9:30am to 2:30pm or you can email me at If you can not come to Dunn and pray we are asking that you go before the Blessed Sacrament anywhere in the world for at least one hour during these designated 40 hours and pray that Jesus, would let him live to be a priest.

We are asking that during this hour you would say at least one Rosary and the Litany of the Sacred Heart. We are asking that you pray for Philip through the intercession of Father Thomas Frederick Price, St. Bernadette Soubirous,St. John Vianney, St. Rita and our Blessed Mother.

I have enclose a copy of the Litany of the Sacred Heart below

BBC To Broadcast Gay Mass From San Francisco

The BBC is to relay a 'gay Mass' from San Francisco this Sunday, the first time such a service has been broadcast. The 50-minute Mass at the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in the predominantly gay Castro district of the city will feature prayers and readings tailored for the gay community.

Its parish priest, Father Stephen Meriweather, blesses participants in the San Francisco's annual gay pride march. But it has also infuriated many Catholics in the U.S. who have complained about such activities as transvestite bingo nights during which sex toys and pornographic DVDs were handed out as prizes.

Weeks after the BBC finished recording the service last October, it emerged that a transvestite group calling themselves the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence regularly staged lewd and irreverent bingo nights on the church premises.

The San Francisco archdiocese-stopped the events when it was discovered that prizes of a sexual nature were being handed out by the group, who dress as nuns. In the past members of the group have paraded naked through the city advertising a 'hunky Jesus' contest. Their motto is: 'Go and sin some more.'
