Speaking Of Archaeological Finds...
Mrs. Caveman find old war pictures

Amazing how much damage I could do with a wimpy 9mm

A priest, a rabbi and a duck walk into a bar. Stop me if you've heard this one.

Stop me if you've heard this one - a six foot termite walks into a saloon and says, "Is the bar tender here?"

Cavey, I bet you miss the Corps. I miss my active duty service . . . during my misbegotten youth. I would love to live it over again--even the most onerous and stressful parts--with the body of a young man and the life experience of the currently, rapidly aging old man. Youth is really wasted on the young . . . at least in my case! *smile*

Thirty years ago there was a piece written in the LA Times by an old guy. He had served in the army. His idea was to draft men at age fifty, since they were more expendable than kids, have more sense, and have seen it all.
