Dictatorship of the ChildISH
Vice "child"
Remember that post I did the other day where I compared the University of Notre Dame to a spoiled child? Well, I was wrong.
The entire university itself may not be a child... but the university president, a certain Presider John Jenkins, most certainly is childish. Am I the only one who thinks he sounds like a bratty 9-year old?

Notre Dame president says bishops' statement support Obama invitation
April 09, 2009
Father John Jenkins, the president of Notre Dame, cited the US bishops' 2004 document, "Catholics in Political Life," to justify the school's invitation to President Barack Obama to speak at commencement.
In a letter to the university's trustees, Father Jenkins argued that the thrust of the document supported the invitation.
Although the bishops' statement asked Catholic colleges not to honor public figures who reject Church teachings on key moral issues, the Notre Dame president claimed that this injunction applied only to Catholic public figures, and since Obama is not Catholic, his contempt for the 'culture of life' is not disqualifying.

Hey Caveman,
"the Notre Dame president claimed that this injunction applied only to Catholics public figures, and since Obama is not Catholic, his contempt for the 'culture of life' is not disqualifying."
OH PLEASE....and what IS the definition of IS...
Wow, another creative interpretation of an ambiguously written document from the USCCB, by the 'Good Enough' Catholic crowd? Color me shocked!
