February 27, 2009, (LifeSiteNews.com) - Yet another of the Miami Archdiocese's parishes is flaunting its disregard for orthodox Christian moral teaching by hosting a concert this evening by the Miami Gay Men's Chorus.
The concert (titled Serenade), the Chorus's debut performance of 2009, is being held at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Miami Beach on Friday, February 27. LifeSiteNews contacted both the parish and the Archdiocese of Miami's Communications Office; no official comment was forthcoming as of press time. (Big shocker, huh?)
This is not the first time an institution under the auspices of the Archdiocese has given a platform to the Miami Gay Men's Chorus. In May of 2008, Holy Cross Hospital (in Fort Lauderdale) co-sponsored a senior-citizens talent show with the Chorus. (Undoubtedly, the spirit was willing, but the flesh as old and shriveled up.)
Catholic teaching clearly distinguishes homosexuality from the so-called "gay lifestyle". The former is considered a psychological disorder, the latter promotes freely chosen sexual behavior that is considered seriously sinful by the Church. (Oh, I'm sure that that all these Backdoor Conquistadors are fulling intending to embrace their cross and live a celibate lifestyle. Suuuuuurrrrre.)
The Miami Archdiocese is said to be no stranger to scandal and wide-spread theological dissent. Two of the Archdiocese's parishes, Saint Anthony and Saint Maurice, are listed as "Gay-Friendly" in a directory published by the Conference of Catholic Lesbians. (How many parishes in your diocese are on this list?)
LifeSiteNews has previously reported on theological dissent sponsored by the Archdiocese's two universities. Just this past Monday, February 24, Saint Thomas University's School of Theology Ministry featured a guest-lecture by "ecospiritualist" Sr. Miriam Therese MacGillis, a Dominican nun who promotes goddess-worship. In 2007, LifeSiteNews reported Barry University's granting a theology award to another notorious goddess-worshipping feminist Dominican nun, Sr. Elizabeth Johnson. How tragic that this particular Archbishop can't differentiate between a moral compass, and the direction pointed to by a fecally encrusted erection.

Cavey, this post & the 1 about Scranton has got me seriously thinking about writing a book called "A Tale of 2 Dioceses"

Bishop Martini makes me proud to be of Italiano heritage.
On the other hand, we have a word for an Italiano like Archbishop John C. Favalora when they let something like this happen:"DISGRAZIA!"
First of all, why is a choir named for the way it's members have sex? Being a male homo-sexual has nothing to do with singing.

I have been all over the net seeking a TOTALLY conservative Catholic site to frequent,but with great disappointments in both The Cafeteria Is Closed,and Roman Catholic Blog.
Both sites allow liberals,leftists,and pro-homosexual posters to harry and harrass practicing Catholics,and lean heavily on Catholics that call them to accounts.
I'm the same Dominic that was instrumental in driving Gerald Augustinus into privatizing his blogsite a year ago.
His heretical views compelled me to ensure this drastic retreat of him and his crew of militant-homo thugs and liberal enforcers.
When I saw that you all here shared many of the same attitudes and devotion to Holy Mother Church as myself,I had to write and let you know that I find your site a welcome relief rom the numbing duplicity and politically correct armtwisting of so many so-called ''Catholic'' sites that are nothing more than covers for treason against Jesus Christ.

Yuo know,it's really unfortunate that even though this man and many others like him are deep in denial about their willing participation in the corruption of our clergy and seminaries,as priests,they are still officially able to celebrate The Holy Mass.
It is a pity that their uncleanness is overshadowed by their positions as priests of Holy Mother Church,even when some of them are practicing sodomites.
Doctrine says that it is not the MAN,but the office that God sees elevating The Host at the altar.
Since that is what Rome holds to be TRUE,I must accept it.
But I sure as Hell don't have to LIKE it,or be comfortable with it.
I cringe every time I imagine their filthy hands taking hold of a Blessed Sacrament,or decanting the SAcred Blood of Christ,and I have to wonder---
Why are they NOT struck dead on the spot?
I really wonder if God has a place for these men,if you can call them men.
It makes me ill-at-ease ,contemplating someone who is a probable sex-deviant,and a militant one at that,hearing my Confessions,blessing me,or worse yet,having the ability to withhold the Sacraments from me.
Silly stuff ,I know,but given the recent spate of ''gay rights'' crap that has infiltrated many of our institutions,I think that I have a somewhat valid gripe.
I see so much of this garbage being force-fed to us and our families,our kids ,and our True clergy being attacked by men who should be cleaning out the seminaries from this vileness.......

I have forgotten that SOME Catholics are actually practitioners of The Catholic Faith.]
That includes courtesy,as well as belief in Christ.
I recieved spare attention in that area on TCIC[Gerald's site],and at Roman Catholic Blog,it was merely a matter of time before my welcome was worn out by the lukewarms and the liberal/leftist gay brownshirt crowd there.
I consider both marks of success in raising doubts in their consciences about their sinful lifestyles,since they invariably reacted to me with scorn ridicule and venom.
One even tried to use a homosexual come-on with me,and THAT got them reported to the Catholic League that very day.
Now,I go theer just to keep tabs on just how bad they continue to get.

Whatever the subject at hand may be, that site has gotten rotten with liberalism,heresy,heterophobia,leftism,liberation theology,and the utter abandonment of Christian Principles based on Catholic Teaching.

I know you from Roman Catholic Blog.
While interacting with you there, in my frustration, I'm the one who made the innapropriate post about the Communion. I regret it and apologize.
However, the webmaster allowed that to sit there. That's HIS responsibility, since I don't have power to delete stuff.
But he erased good posts of mine, and good posts of yours too, especially when you were hurting from your problems. I hope you're doing better. Then he erases all my posts, claiming I said something about apostasy, when it was a personal issue between us.
Like you, I'll never post there ever again!!! I'm glad I did stand up to him, e-mailing him personally, telling him to REPENT. Maybe law degrees often turn people arrogant or whatever the problem.
As regards to a homosexual come on, I'm sure it's that clown who only did that to upset you. No doubt he's totally heterosexual straight, and you let it get to you. He revealed he's only 33 by the way.
We're at terrible complete odds on a lot of points. And I hear where you're coming from. Okay. Now I simply ask you this: Why didn't any Catholic ever bother to share their faith with me anytime in their selfish life? If they did, your point of view would be a lot more convincing.

As to your question about the sharing of Faith,I have no idea why no one shared it with you.
They are commanded to by Our Lord Jesus.But it seems that so many ''Catholics'' today are either ashamed of Him,as He said they would be,or that they are more interested in political and economic perks than propagating Faith,Vocations and Devotions to Our Lord,Our Lady,and the countless Saints and Martyrs who suffered and died in order that we SHOULD have our Faith.
This is one of the attitudes that in particular makes me so absolutely driven ,as you have seen me act on these blogs.
No compromise,no fraternization w/the Enemy.
Absolute and utter devotion to Rome and Magisterial Teachings,and committed to the rooting out of any heretical mouthings and mindsets ,no matter WHO may espouse them.
