And as America gets it's drunk on off of the latest 3d rate swill from the good folks at Ripple, the 97 cents a bottle Chateau D'Obama *as I sniff the twist-cap, Ohh-la-la!*, about a year from now, our national drunk will become a national hangover.
Socialism + Recession = Depression.
...and I'm going to just smiiiiiiile at all the Obamanics and remind them that this is what they asked for.

Can I show the state of IL public schooling and ask what "distressed mode" means? I'm familiar with flying flags at half-staff; idiot governor of the state I went to college in did that every time a soldier from that state died in Iraq. She didn't give two farts about the death; she just wanted to make a political statement on her personal disagreement with our President on the matter.
Back in the old days, whenever a ship at sea was in distress, she would fly her flag upside down.
For my purposes, I mean the Ship of State.
I am about to embark upon one of the greatest works of charity I have ever attempted.
Even while explaining how the further trials and grave evils forced upon our society can be traced to various left-wing policies, I must refrain from telling my in-laws, "I told you so."
Well America has just been sold to the highest bidder, that wasn't an election it was an auction.
God bless all you who voted to oppose this, and may Gods Justice come swiftly upon those who have made this evil possible.
Do not lose hope, time for heroic deeds in the service of God may be upon us soon.
We can only pray for our country now.
I called it: Obama was elected mostly because of his skin color. Next step, oppose all his tax hikes, his baby-killing and all his other marxist crap.
So now this country is nothing but entitlements, racism and baby-murder. I guess I'm starting to understand how Michelle Obama used to feel. All that prayer, and this is what we get. I suppose it's time for some serious reparations and atonement, since it's apparent now that God means to chastise us, big time. Four years of wearing out our knees ought to begin to scratch the surface. I will kneel before Him for as long as it takes, but never before Obama.

but it's only 729 days until we can vote in a new House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate. Maybe by that time the Kool-Aid will have worn off and the rest of America will wake up before we are a completely European-style socialist nation, e.g. France (cuz you know the French are so much more enlightened than we are -- unless it comes to us saving their asses in a war).
The dems gave up God long ago. We live in a society where truth is determined by popular vote. God has no place. The majority got what they wanted. And they'll get what they deserve.
God doesn't actively punish, He simply allows tragedies to happen. The majority sided with the Godless and God will no longer hold back the majority's just reward.
Be careful what you wish for.
We went off and hung a president Hussien, only to elect a new one.

you say the ship of state is in distress. Could I say the ship has hit the iceberg and is about to go under.
I urge you Catholics to pray for Obama. Pray for his conversion, we are asked to love our enemies and wish good for them. It is time to fast and pray for his conversion. If it is God's will he might yet be the best (holiest)president ever.
