They Couldn't Find ONE Catholic!?
Truly pathetic

OGDEN -- About once a week, Northern Utah Catholic Community Services sports an additional face among its employees. That face belongs to Brad Drake of Layton, who took over as executive director of Utah's Catholic Community Services programs in July.
Drake makes it a point to visit the Top of Utah as often as he can, because he wants those who oversee programs here to know of their value. "He is like a breath of fresh air," said Kelly Farley, Northern Utah Catholic Community Services social work supervisor and volunteer coordinator.
"He is genuinely concerned about Northern Utah. When he says 'How are you?' he really wants to know how you are." But it's not just his work ethic that sets Drake apart from past executive directors of the $11 million annual program with 94 employees. He's also not a Catholic.
Drake is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So the guy in charge of allegedly-Catholic Community Services believes that God The Father physically impregnated The Blessed Virgin Mary. So the guy in charge of allegedly-Catholic Community Services believes that somewhere out there, a planet exists that he will one day be 'the god' of. So the guy in charge of allegedly-Catholic Community Services believes Christ and satan are 'spirit brothers'. So the guy in charge of allegedly-Catholic Community Services believes pre-Incarnation, Christ was actually St. Michael the Archangel.
They couldn't find ONE Catholic?
Such bullshit.

Typical of the enfeebled state of the One True Faith here in Utah. We suffered years of Niederauer who hobnobbed with the Democrats and did much to destroy a culture of Life identity among Catholics. I'd venture that 90% of Utah Catholics are voting for Obama.
Note: Mormons only get to be "god" of their own planet if they've been married in a temple.
Note 2: A Mormon temple is being built in Rome!
Hmmm...no wonder that other parish in Ogden (NOT Fr. Erik's) is so...weird.
Cavey,
I suspect the answer to your question would depend on where they looked & based on the following, I don't think they were looking anywhere near where they could to find a real Catholic.
I am not trying to be judgemental, but I suspect that he/she is not a Catholic (except in name) could be said about many others at Northern Utah Catholic Community Services.
In other words, he is probably a more faithful Morman than most of the Catholics there are faithful Catholics.
Al's comment reminds me of something. years ago, so I don't know if it is still true, there were so few Catholics in Utah that the cathedral in SLC was a "mission" church, in other words, it was partially supported by dioceses outside Utah. But Vir's question still stands: they couldn't find ONE Catholic?
Very sad, and the organist at the Cathedral, is also a Morman. They are everywhere here in Utah--it's extremely painful--they are trying to "take over the world." How can people follow such a false prophet and his false gospel--a gospel that is not the gospel of Jesus and His Apostles?
tara, people lie to themselves all the time. Self-deception is the prerequisite for nearly every sort of evil. I know this full well, because I've done it myself -- I was, at one point, pro-"choice". Imagine, for a moment, the lies I had to believe to hold that position and still consider myself any better than a Nazi.
