Houston, We Have A Baby
HOORAY!!!

My bestest ex-Alaskan and now a Scottish Cavebabe buddy, Coffee Catholic, is now a mom!!

Here's the message I recieved from CC; I've had our baby!!!!! It ended up being an emergency c-section because the baby was in distress but all worked out well. Thank you for your prayers ~ God watched over us both!

Her (yes, a wee girl!) name is Elspeth and she came out a plump 8 pounds on Oct. 29th ~ the same day my mom died three years ago. God has used this baby's birth to not only bless her happy parents but to also bless my family by giving that horrible day such a beautiful twist! My late Mom's first grandchild born that day... this wasn't a coincidence! God is so good...

Elspeth's as healthy as anything. Been eating, pooing, and screaming ever since she emerged into this world! (Erlend and I both look a bit haggard hahahaha!)
