Can We Borrow Him When You're Done?
I'd like to introduce him to some kids named Bush

As much as I tease the Brits about Prince Chuckie and Sea Biscuit, I've also shown my admiration of young Prince Harry.

In a conspicuous display of both patriotism and leadership by example, Prince Harry's off to war.

The UK Mail on Sunday reported that Harry told senior officers at Sandhurst on April 12: “If I am not allowed to join my unit in a war zone, I will hand in my uniform.”

In September 2005, he said: “There’s no way I’m going to put myself through Sandhurst and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country.”

As I've said before... that young man will make a fine leader of men one day.

Oh, and in case you were wondering.... I'm still waiting to see if any of the Bush kids to sign up. I guess it's easier for them to "sit on their arse back home while others are out fighting for their country".

Good luck, Prince Harry. And may God bless ya, son.

AMEN!! And don't forget that Prince William is now at Sandhurst as well.

As for the U.S., it's not just the Bush twins. Our colleges are filled with physically fit young men who choose to leave the fighting & dying to others. It's disgusting.

Prince Andrew was a helicopter pilot in the Falklands War, and Charles was in the Royal Navy for a long time (where he didn't do much). I don't hold the British royals in high regard, but good for Harry for having a backbone and a conscious.

Harry can at least help erase the disgrace of his uncle, Princess (oh, "Prince") Edward, who failed to make it through Royal Marine officer training. A true pussy in true "Royal" fashion!

How could any future King not want to serve his nation in uniform AND in conflict if his subjects are serving?

He and his brother are fine young men. The influence, I believe, of their late mother.

Our universities and colleges are prime breeding grounds for liberalism. They TEACH students that men and women in uniform are bad people, and that serving one's country is unintelligent and unnecessary. You know - the "Jon Carry" approach to military appreciation.

Rational people know this isn't true. But liberals are rarely rational.

Meanwhile, the incoming congress - led by Nancy "Conservative Catholic" (Ha!) Pelosi and Charlie Rangel - wants to draft people...into a profession they so clearly despise.

What a joke.
