Godless Communists Cause Ruckus At World Baseball Classic
Screw you, Fidel!
Warning ~ Harsh Language Alert!!
If your squeamish, have sensitive ears, a sissy, demand that we all play nice, or if you're a sorry ass communist, you may want to pass on this post.
During a World Baseball Classic regional game in San Juan, PR between Cuba and The Netherlands, a heroic man identified only as Enrique held up a sign. All the sign said was two simple words... "Abajo Fidel". Translation - "Down With Fidel".
The Cuban communist minders at the game went ape-shit. They even rushed the stands to assault the man holding the sign. Puerto Rican police quickly intervened and took the head Cuban official - Angel Iglesias, vice president of Cuba's National Institute of Sports - to a nearby police station where they lectured him about free speech.
"We explained to him that here the constitutional right to free expression exists and that it is not a crime," police Col. Adalberto Mercado was quoted as saying in El Nuevo Dia, a San Juan daily.
Hey Fidel, you sorry son of a bitch, I hate to break this to you, but Enrique is an AMERICAN citizen on AMERICAN soil exercising an AMERICAN right. If you don't like it, you can take your team right back to Cuba, you bastard.
And the next time one of your "officials" (read: goons) rushes into the stands to attack an American, I certainly hope that someone kicks the living shit out of him.

Great blog! I've blogrolled you. :-)
I completely agree with you on this, Caveman. There are times when your point can be made with good manners and polite language, and there are times when foul language and a strong arm are more appropriate. Kicking the shit out of communists always seemed to be a good idea to me.
I love a story with a happy ending.
