DingleBarry Takes The Week-End Off
It's hard work pushing lies

WARNING! Harsh Language Alert.

You'd think the Commander in Chief could have made it to Fort Hood this weekend. Nahhhh... he's off to Camp David for some much needed R&R. I find it odd that George and Laura made it to Killeen, but DingleBarry and Buffalo Butt couldn't.

Oh, and President Bush ordered no photos, either. You'd think that The South-Side Stooge could have at least met the Ft. Hood victims at Dover AFB. Whoops... that photo op's already been done.

By the way, is it just me, or do you also think things would be just a wee bit different if... oh, say... a Christian would have opened fire in a Detroit mosque and killed a bakers dozen and wounded over 30 people? Ass-wipe would have been there in a skinney minute, and we all know it.

Anyhow, I guess the Obamination is plum wore-out from bullshitting us all about how many jobs "were saved" by the gazillion dollar Spedulus plan. I think you might find this headline from the Sacramento Bee somewhat interesting;
Many California jobs 'saved' by stimulus funds weren't in jeopardy

Up to one-fourth of the 110,000 jobs reported as saved by federal stimulus money in California probably never were in danger, a Bee review has found. California State University officials reported late last week that they saved more jobs with stimulus money than the number of jobs saved in Texas – and in 44 other states.

In a required state report to the federal government, the university system said the $268.5 million it received in stimulus funding through October allowed it to retain 26,156 employees. That total represents more than half of CSU's statewide work force. However, university officials confirmed Thursday that half their workers were not going to be laid off without the stimulus dollars.

"This is not really a real number of people," CSU spokeswoman Clara Potes-Fellow said. "It's like a budget number."

In a word: YES!!!!

I heard he plans on showing up for the memorial service. Gee, do I detect another photo op rather than a sincere caring for the victims????

Only upside I can think of is that, if I or my husband were (God forbid) hurt in a similar situation, I'd much rather meet W (who seems like a sincerely good man) than O. (who may as well have "how can I use this?" tattooed across his forehead)
