Liar, Liar...
Stretch-Pants on fire
As we all know, during the upcoming Visitation on America's covens... whoops, I mean convents, there will be focusing on three main areas of concern:
1. Promoting the ordination of women.
2. Advocation of homosexuality.
3. Salvation through Christ alone.
With all that in mind, here's an interesting tid-bit from the Toledo Blade;Sister Christine Schenk, of the Sisters of St. Joseph religious order and executive director of the Catholic reform group FutureChurch, said she is "very puzzled" by reported concerns over adherence to doctrine. Interesting. Especially in light that FutureChurch states on their own website that they are
"... inspired by Vatican II" What, the almost 2 dozen Councils prior to don't count? What makes Vatican II so special? Hmmm... Think about it, gang.
1. And yet again, their own website advocates so-called "women's ordination".
2. And if that wasn't enough, click here for FutureChurch's litany of documentation favoring homosexuality.
3. But wait... there's more! Here we read that the world doesn't embrace Christ to attain salvation, it's Christ's embracing of the world. After all, it's Christ's job to embrace Him, right?

Unfortunately, even while the main residents of the Siena Center are older, retired nuns, the place is run by a radically liberal group of younger (read: middle age) nuns who radiate heresy out into the entire Milwaukee Archdiocese on a monthly basis through their liberal, spiritist programs and retreats. Here's a sample of what's on deck in the next few months, straight from their own website:
Women for Women
Becoming Mystics and Prophets
Welcoming Wisdom: Chakra Wholeness
Fair Trade and Food Sovereignty
Entering Teresa's Castle
Christian Mystic: Zen Buddhist Master
Dreams: Wholeness and Holiness
The Poetry of Earth
Centering Prayer: Who Am I, Really?
Forgive: It Feels So Good! (Husband's comment - Can you forgive George W.?)
Celebrate Solstice, Celebrate Earth
Six Questions of Jesus
Radical Amazement
Paint Your Prayer C'mon guys... "by their fruits you shall know them" has got to mean something to those why just aren't sure of what to make of The New & Improved Vatican II Catholic Church. And the above is just one small slice of an example from Anytown, USA.
And the radical Novus Ordites have the 'nads to call us Trads "dangerous"?

"... inspired by Vatican II"?????????????
Funny, but the last time I read anything from the documents of Vatican II I was inspired to be a better, more faithful to the magesterium Catholic, not a better heretic.
This is just more proof that the spirit that they call "The Spirit of Vatican II" is "could it be, oh say, SATAN!!!!!" (Say that last with your best Church Lady imitation.)
PS To the raddies Trads are dangerous. How? By fighting for the True Faith Trads undermine the raddies attempts to destroy the Church.
PPS Assuming that is her photo at the top of the post, Benny Hill looks more like a nun than Sister(?) Christine Schenk does.
Well you ARE dangerous. You have the audacity to believe that God should be the center of man's attention and not their silly-ass ideas. You really should be ashamed of yourself.
I nomintaed u for an award over at Crescat, by the way!
"If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first."
The Lord Jesus Christ at his Last Supper
St. Theresa of Avila, St. Catherine of Sienna, St. Therese of Lisieu, ora pro nobis.
Curious why it takes a visitation and all the time and effort. Anyone with internet access should be able to round up the idiots and send them on their way.
The Holy See is still working on the Internet thing, Greta.
I particularly enjoyed the pictures of the sisters proclaiming the Gospel and then preaching during Mass while the priest sat in his chair and listened.
I think the good father may be due for a review of the Catechism.
