Ironically enough, my very liberal-minded mother-in-law likes to talk politics quite often. I had been reading up on some of Pat Buchanan's writings and when she started in again on politics, I presented PB's thoughts, which I had a hunch she would agree with (she's anti-war and fiscally fairly conservative, but only if she thinks the thoughts are coming out of a Democrat's mouth). She pretty much thought they were good ideas. I never told her the source, but have been tempted for months to print out some of his columns, cut the by-line off, and let her fawn all over them, only to give her a shock when I tell her who wrote them.

Until Mr. Buchanan realizes that indeed the third time is the charm, I hope Duncan Hunter can harness a little of that Go Pat Go mojo.
Heh.
I have an AUTOGRAPHED PJB t-shirt from the '92 campaign.
