A Tale Of 3 Congressmen
Who's been bending over the pages?
A Massachusetts Democrat was censured by the House for having a sexual relationship with an underage male Congressional Page (qualifying him as a pedophile). As the House read their censure of him, he turned his back and ignored them. Later, at a press conference with the former page standing beside him, the two stated that what had happened between them was nobody's business but their own. Congressional Democrats defended him during the entire episode. He was repeatedly re-elected.
Another Massachusetts Democrat admitted to the crime of solicitation of a (male) prostitute. The Congressman's live-in homosexual lover also ran a homosexual prostitution ring out of their Washington, DC apartment. A move to expel him from the House of Representatives failed on a 38 to 390 vote; a motion to censure him failed 141-287; finally, the House voted to reprimand him by a vote of 408 to 18. Congressional Democrats defended him during the entire episode. He was repeatedly re-elected.
A Florida Republican was accused of sending sexually explicit (and down-right vile) e-mails to an underage Congressional Page. He resigned in disgrace. Congressional Republicans are calling for Justice Department investigations.
So if I read the scorecard correctly... 1 Democrat admitted to committing the crime of statutory rape, another admitted to the crime of solicitation. 1 Republican send dirty e-mails to a minor.
Of the 3 cases, which one have you heard the most about?
By the way, should I even bring up the Oregon Republican Senator who resigned in disgrace for pinching ladies fannies... and the Commander in Chief who used an intern as his own personal humidor? Of the two, who is still a hero to millions?
This is a sick country we have here. Satan is lovin' it.
