In the packed sanctuary of a rented church in Mission Hills, a balding man in a short-sleeved shirt stepped up to the microphone. “Folks,” he began, “I want to welcome you to the revolution.”
Then came the applause.
"The revolution"? Where the hell did this take place... Sts. Fidel and Che Catholic Social Justice Center and Circle Jerk Society? Seems so.
Jane Via... yet another modern day luther wannabe trying to pass herself off as a Catholic priest. Like I posted before... women can no more be a priest than a dog can be Baptized, or a tree given Last Rites.
But I just want to make sure I understand all this clearly... if a Catholic Archbishop cites Canon Law in order to defend 2,000 years of Catholic tradition, said archbishop will find himself "excommunicated".
But if a bunch of Chicks with Pyx decide to defy The Church and dive head first into heresy... absolutely nothing will happen, right?
I also read that Miss Via is a Deputy District Attorney in my home town of San Diego. Hold on --- this gal is suppose to enforce the law? If this broad can't even understand the blinding simplicity of Catholicism's "WOMEN SHALL NOT BE PRIESTS", how in the Name of God can she correctly enforce secular law? Sheesh, no wonder out legal system is so screwed up.
With any luck at all, this dame is the DDA in charge of something really important... like making sure that sky-writers use correct puncuation, or enforcing the scooping up of dog crap laws.
Oops, before I forget, I see that Miss Via "presides" at a Protestant facility. How appropriate.

fab, I imagine they do expect to be called "father". Female episcopal priests are called "father". I know of a Episcopalian "Father Susan" in Texas.

Yes. That's right. Nothing will happen.
Cavey, there's also a long-standing tradition of telling the Bishop of Rome to bugger off, which is where we get all our schismatics and heretics from. One can talk all they want about the tradion of the Church, but if one defies and discounts the successor of Peter, then there is no communion with the Church.
I know it drives you bonkers to think of it, but defiance is the root of both the 'liberal' schisms and the 'tradionalist' schisms. Each party knows better than the Magisterium, and rationalizes their arguments into their own private papacy.

Don't even compare Apb Lefevbre with these idiots.
At worse, Apb Lefevbre was guilty of disobedience. These broads are guilty of heresy.
