"...What Concord Hath Christ With Belial?"
~ 2 Corinthians 6:15
Yet another reason to suppress the Jesuits
Is this another bitter "Fruit of Vatican II" or just the world's biggest (and ugliest) wind chime?
I know this is probably asking a lot... but could someone please notify the Jesuits that "No man cometh to the Father, but by Me." ~ John 14:6
I don't seem to recall anywhere in Sacred Scripture anyone ever saying "No man cometh to the Father, but possibly by Buddha, or possibly by Mohammed, or possibly by Shiva, or possibly by Zoroaster, or possibly by The Democratic National Committee, or possibly by Luke Skywalker and his good goomba Yoda, or possibly by Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, or possibly by a Sacred Oak Tree, or possibly by Captain Planet... or if the mood strikes, possibly by Jesus."

Relativism strikes again!
I thought I remember Gandhi saying that he'd have become a christian if he'd found any convincing practitioners. Some of his sexual ethic are right in line with Catholic teaching, better than John Kerry. The Lakota Sioux recognise the unborn as children, and prohibit their harm, unlike many mainline Protestant churches. Who God saves and those He discards is His business.
Creed of the Modernist Catholic
I believe in one God, if it is convenient,
And more gods, if it is more convenient,
Who did nothing as we evolved.
I believe in Jesus of Nazareth,
A normal human being,
He was given the "Christ Consciousness",
Became a good social activist,
And was persecuted by an all-male hierarchy.
He was crucified, died,
And spent three days wandering around before realizing
That Hell did not exist.
On the third day he was resurrected in a symbolic, spiritual sense,
And sits at the left hand of Mother Earth Gaia,
When they shall come again to condemn
White Male Heterosexuals, Capitalists and Traditionalists.
I believe in the Spirit of Vatican II,
The Syncretistic One World Religion,
The Communion of various committees,
Subcommittees and sub-subcommittees,
The forgiveness of Social sins through social action committees,
The resurrection of Communism,
And the New World Order. Amen.

To be perfectly honest, I could care less what gandhi said. It sounds to me as if good Mr gandhi cares more about personalities, and no too much about realizing the Truth of Christ. The loss is gandhi's.

And may God bless those Lakotas! And any non-Catholic Lakotas who die in a state of Invincable Ignorance most certainly have the possibility of attaining eternal salvation.

How true. And God Almighty has already told us what it takes to be saved... has He not?
Yes, For those of us who have heard the Gospel and know it to be the truth. I wonder if most 'catholic' pols know the gospel is true, as they certainly do vote as if their salvation were on the line.
Oh don't give up hope on Jesuits yet. I've started a campaign -- Vote 1 Fessio for Superior General 2008!
