Dude, Where's My Apparition?
Bogus... totally BOGUS!
To the disconcertion of Medj-Heads everywhere, the Catholic bishop whose diocese includes the town of Medjugorje is, yet again, speaking out against the false 'apparitions'.
But for those of you who are unfamiliar as to why, this may help explain a few things.
Here's a little something to whet your appetite;
- Mirjana: "I recently asked the Virgin this question (whether many souls are damned), and she told me that nowadays most souls go to Purgatory." (book by Fr. Faricy, p. 64)
(...a comforting thought, perhaps, but opposite to the teaching of Fatima, St. Louis de Montfort, Pope Gregory the Great, St. Alphonsus, St. Anthony Claret, St. Augustine, etc., etc.)
- Oct. 1, 1981: "All religions are equal before God," says the Virgin. (Chronological Corpus of Medjugorje, p. 317)
- From August, 1984, to April, 1985, the apparitions continued to take place in the parish church despite the Bishop of Mostar's former prohibition. (A certain sign of a false apparition, when Church authority is disobeyed by the apparition itself.)

Your above quote seems to have been taken out of context.
On the same date, October 1, 1981, (Words from Heaven)
To the question: Are all religions good?
Members of all faiths are equal before God. God rules over each faith like a sovereign over his kingdom. In the world all religions are NOT the same because all people have not complied with the commandments of God. They reject and disparage them.
To the question: Are all churches the same?
In some the strength of prayer to God is greater, in others smaller. That depends on the priests who motivate others to pray. It depends also on the power which they have.

Pilgrim,
No problem what so ever posting!
With the pleasantries aside.... I must say that I believe that you are taking the entire Medj-phenomenon out of context.
Besides the flat-out non-Catholic 'messages' from this manifestation, we also have the local bishop giving a hard "thumbs down" to this.
Then we have former Pope, John Paul II, speaking out against this manifestation.
Then we have then Cardinal Ratzinger speaking out against the same as well.
As those more learned that either of us have stated in the past - "the work of the evil one is said with mostly the truth. And that truth is heavily sprinkled with lies. When The Faithful accept those lies as truths, that is when the evil one has triumphed."
Hmm. Let's see. At Fatima didn't Our Lady say that so many souls go to hell that it's like watching snow fall? Now in Medjugorje she's saying that most go to Purgatory? Don't tell me that we are more moral than the generation of 1917.
