The Caveman Admits Defeet
OK, I finally caught World Cup Fever
Even though I'm admittantly very unfamiliar with this particular sport, better late than never, I always say. From what I understand, this weekend is the finals of the World Cup competition, right?
From what I've gathered from various local newspapers, it looks as if St. Charles Borromeo Catholic will be taking on Harbor Side Elementary for the 3d Place honors.
And as far as the big boys are concerned, Ray Croc Middle School will battle Einstein Jr. High for the big enchilada.
I am talking about the right Kickball tournament, aren't I?

First of all, Caveman, the finals began on 9 June, after 18 months of qualifying rounds. Secondly, it is estimated that 1.000.000.000 people will be watching France defeat Italy tomorrow (my prediction. Allez les bleus!), next to which the Superbowl and World Series combined are small fry.
So Jovan-Marya,
I was talking about the wrong kickball tournament?
