Happy Stay The Hell Away From Me Day
Illegals stay home today

Millions of ILLEGAL aliens all decided to stay home today. No work... no school... no doctor visits. And in doing so, there is the added plus of each and every one of them staying the hell away from me.

That means that today, not one of them cheated by not paying state or federal taxes, not one of them sucked off the taxpayers by sending their kids to school, not one of them sucked off the taxpayers by causing log jams at hospitals and acute care centers.

And none of us had to deal with keeping from running over illegals in traffic as they bolt across the border.

I for one, would like to thank each and every one of them. I hope they enjoyed my so designated Stay The Hell Away From Me Day as much as I did.

In chapel the other day a visitor prayed for the "undocumented workers." That would be illegal aliens you knob! Just freakin say it! Everyone wants to be politcally correct these days. That is how we got to the point where sin is no longer sin, it's alterante lifestyles or other life choices.

BTW, not all of them are working. I am all for whatever it takes to get them to pay taxes and whatnot, but they are illegal, just call it what it is.

Go Navy

That picture reminded me off what happened while I lived in Bham AL.

I was ON THE INTERSTATE going 70 miles on an hour & had to come to a screeching halt as 3 pick up trucks stoppped ON THE INTERSTATE. What happened next? 30+ mexican migrant workers jumped out of the back of those trucks & dodged traffic.

I found out later that is common practice. Contract workers/farmers etc will pick up these immigrants from various street corners & they would work for them. At 5pm when the day was done, the "boss" will just drop them off in traffic near-ish where he picked them up.

And contrary to what anyone hoped to accomplish from the "day off" the US did not come to a screeching halt.

You want to know what I saw? I saw white and black people working on the highways & building houses... for a change.

What makes me wonder... how the holy hell can anyone build our homes & roads when they can't follow instructions? Most of this immigrants can't speak or read english & are barely literate in their own language.

I can't read IKEA's instructions, so you get my drift. LOL

I actually enjoyed May 1. Traffic was lighter, people seemed amused by the whole thing and the restaurnats were full. Either a whole lot of people ignored the protest or businesses discovered that they can function without illegals afterall. Let's have more "days off".

Yesterday, at Mass in the prayers of the faithful we were instructed to pray for the "undocumented" and for those "fanning the fires of fear and racism" --folks who are against amnesty. I almost walked out.

It didn't seem to drive business to halt.
I live in a town in the south with a large hispanic population. I like them - they are religious and very family oriented. The children are learning English quickly and they will become good citizens. I would like to slap the politicians and "activists" who stoke the fires of resentment and entitlement.

Went by Wal Mart on the way to work Monday to pick up some lunch. I had never seen it so quiet. Actually parked closer than a five dollar cab fare to the door. Coincidence?

Hmmm....didn't seem to affect me in any way at all. There's never any help at Wal-Mart anyway...just like that other store. I don't want to name it, but it rhyhmes with Shmome Deeeeeepot
Anyways, living here in San Diego,I had to laugh at the futility of it all....nothing like biting the hand that feeds you. Maybe there's something left in the general city fund to actually help citizens that live here, but can't afford health care or whatever social service they might be in need of.
Some of the guys I work with are of Mexican heritage and do live in TJ and on a daily basis commute here in the ungodly wee hours to be at work at 4:30 in the AM. They spent the time and money to stand in line and go through the process of being legal in every sense, for the right to participate in our society....my hats off to them!
If any politicos had half a brain and a single cojone amongst them, they would have proclaimed Tuesday as "You Just Lost Your Job You Dumbass Day", and closed OUR side of the border.
It's hard to have leverage when you're at the the bottom of the pile.We do have convicts that could do some menial labor as a way to reintroduce them into society, we'll just relabel it as "therapy" or "rehabilitation"
Don't mark me as a racist, because I'm not. I have no problems with anyone that's willing to go the extra mile to make a life for themselves in this great country....but I'll be damned if we should kiss ass to bunch of illegals that demand change just because they want it, from a country that they milk a living from without having to contribute to the infrastructure in any way.
Nuff said...rant off.

I said "damn",so I suppose I should as for forgiveness..."Forgive me Padre for I have sinned....",speaking of the Padres...how about that 8 game win streak?
