Why don't the priests tell us about Akita AT ALL?
This is a very disturbing story. If talk of murder, satanism, ritual torture, bestial rape, human sacrifice, and warnings from The Holy Mother bother you, I suggest you skip this story.
Father Gerald Robinson is on trial for the murder of Sister Margaret Ann Pahl.
The verdict could be weeks or even months away. But I will say this... the prosecutions evidence certainly does seem rather damning. And only time and God will tell us if Fr. Robinson is guilty. As horrific as the slaying of Sister Margaret Ann is, could it be just the tip of the iceberg?
And yet again, the messages from The Holy Mother as given to Sister Agnes Sasagawa in Akita, Japan in 1973 came to mind as soon as I read this news story. Here's some of what Our Lord sent His mother to warn us of;
"The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church... The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord."
Oh, by the way... Akita is a fully Church approved apparition. Funny how none of our priests ever bring it up, though.

I hadn't really thought about it but you're right. I've never heard a single priest talk about Akita or La Sallete for that matter.
The case was shelved until December 2003, when investigators learned that a 41-year-old woman had told the Toledo Catholic Diocese that when she was a young girl, she had been subjected to ritualistic sex abuse by a satanic fraternity of priests wearing nuns' clothing.
In testimony before a diocesan sex-abuse panel, she said the priests had forced her to participate in a series of stomach-turning, "cult-like ceremonies" in which she was placed in a coffin filled with live cockroaches, required to eat what she believed was a human eyeball, and penetrated by a snake "to consecrate these orifices to Satan." She claimed that during the sick rituals, cult members molested children, made them watch other youngsters being abused, killed an infant and a 3-year-old, and chopped up dogs.
Anybody remember the opening chapters of Windswept House?
I knew the priest who edited the galleys of the novel. (He died recently.) He told me that the novel was "90% true."
Who was the Bishop when this was going on?

Well, to be fair, so far most of the satanic ritual abuse stories have turned out to be bogus. Remember how the kids at the McMartin pre-school said that the teachers were cutting up bunnies, torturing the the kids with knives and forcing sex acts on them in the tunnels under the school? Turned out to be pyschologist induced crap.
