Guilty Pleasures Meme
I tag Conde, FD, Digi, Dymphna, Carlton, Paul, Gillibrand, Mike I, Scarlette, Dad29, Rick, Tom, Jay, Darwin, Curmudgie, ... did I miss anyone?

WARNING! Some may find some of my responses rather... crude. If you find such offensive, you might want to pass on this posting.

What things in life are there that you REALLY enjoy, but you really don't want others knowing about? What the heck... I'll get the ball rolling. Now I'm being up front and honest. I expect all of you to follow suit!

Music - Christopher Cross. Gordon Lightfoot (does that make me a chick... or Canadian?)

Movies - Peewee's Big Adventure. John Hughes movies

Politics - Democrats... how DO THEY effortlessly blame others for their own shortcomings? I'm impressed!

Church related - FINALLY getting to sit down at Mass (lots of kneeling at the Latin Mass)

Chow - Milk and Cookies late at night. Spinach Quiche

Clothing - Commando Style (set the boys FREE!)

TV - Beauty and the Geek. Leave It To Beaver

Hygenically (or lack thereof) - Pissin' in the shower. Scratchin' my ass (Ahhh... this must be what Crack feels like!). Package Checks.

Caveman,

Okay, I'll post me guilty pleasures. I wish I could say I am offended by crude postings but as (a) a Bronx native, (b) Irish/Polish, and (c) a lawyer . . . eh, I've heard worse.

Commando? You must mean regimental. it goes back to the days when Highland Regiments on parade had to walk over a mirror upon leaving barracks so that the Master Sergeant (or whatever Scots call them) could insure that they were properly attired.

Its the cheif draw of the kilt for me. I wear mine every chance I get. That's what Mel meant when he cried "FREEDOM!!!"

Sorry to let you down, CSM, but there's not much on those topics I want to keep secret. I'm pretty outspoken about all these things.

Ok, I can give you one. Very little beats the feeling of accomplishment after the BM that follows a 2lb butter-soft bloody-rare steak.

Caveman - Black 47 rocks! I especially like their songs since the locations mentioned in them - Bainbridge Avenue, Decatur Avenue - are found in the parish of St. Brendan's Church and the neighborhood where I grew up. Look at the links on my blog - I have one there for St. Brendan's.

(BTW, if anyone asks, "I lived on Perry Avenue and my kitchen window looked out onto the Oval." If they know the 'hood, 'nuff said.)

Gee, thanks for thinking of me, CC, but I'm actually gonna pass on this one. Suffice to say that I am too much in the embrace of sin.
