The only thing more kick-ass than Red Eye With Greg Gutfeld, is Congressman Thaddeus McCotter. From a mention of A Flock of Seagulls, to Triumph, to doing drugs, to the Vatican and Latin.

The GOP Policy Chair wound up on Fox News' Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld last night.

So, is GOP in disarray? "When we were growing up we'd look at the 'Flock of Seagulls' hair, and we'd say that looks in disarray, but there was a lot of work that went into sculpting that...it may appear to be disorderly but we're going through a very intense period of reorganization and restructuring the Republican party."

On Rush: "I was asked how do you feel about being attacked for listening to Rush and I said, 'who doesn't love Canadian power rock trios?'"

And as for the now defunct band, Second Amendments? "Not so much anymore, we have a lot of work to do and 60% of our band left. It's not like we're going to be on VH1 'Behind the Scenes.' We didn't do enough drugs, we lost our ablility to fit in spandex and half of us went bald."

When Will The Conservative Movement Get a Leader?
It better happen... and damn quick

Will fellow Bloglodyles, the 2010 elections are going to be upon us tout de suite. And we conservatives still don't have a national leader.

Forget about McCain. He was/has/and will always be a RepubliCrat. Don't forget that it was him that suspended his presidential campaign for three days to work on the multi-billion dollar Wall Street bailout. Republicans like McCain are exactly why we lost The White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Sarah Who? Pailin's punching out of the Governor's Mansion after only two years rubbed many Conservatives the wrong way (myself included). Many say she had good reason, and she very well may have. And as pivotal (and important!) as the Tea Party movement is, her disregarding the the premier conservative conference of the year in favor of some 3d tier "Tea Party Convention" is just dumb. Is the purposfully trying to piss of the Conservative movement?

Mike Steele has shown that he's really just Silly Putty. Not only has he shown himself to be a soft-core supporter of abortion, he also supported the RINO nominee in the recent NY-23 congressional race. Remember... it's the one where Steele supported Dede Scozzafava. She also the same "Republican" who advocated homo-marriage, abortion rights, the Obama Spedulous Package, etc. Some Republicans, huh?

Newt Gingrich is just damaged goods. Not only did he also support Scozzafava, when Speaker of the House, he consistently allowed Democrats to punk him out. Many of us have not forgotten how he allowed the Dems to push him around.

Bobby Jindal, Haley Barbour, Alan Keyes, Thaddeus McCotter, Jim DeMint... hell, someone take charge!
