Notre Dame President Fr John I. Jenkins has said that protests during President Obama's visit were led by individuals who "threatened law and order" and that the same rules apply for all protests.
"In the weeks leading up to Notre Dame's Commencement on May 17, 2009, a number of people violated University policies on campus demonstrations," Fr Jenkins said in a statement.
"They were given repeated warnings by law enforcement officials, and then, when they persisted, they were arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

Criminal trespass? That's a felony, right? It is altogether different from misdemeanor trespass.
