So Why Isn't NYC Under 100 Feet Of Water?
Riddle me that, Mr. Science Czar

Digging a little deeper into that can of Mixed Nuts that DingleBarry calls his inner circle, I found an interesting open letter from congressman Vern Buchanan (R-FL 13th) to the Doofus in Chief.

Here's some of it from Infowars.com; (Emphasis mine)
“Wasn’t it [science czar] John Holdren, in 1975- who said “Global cooling, will lead to large ice falling into the water and cause the largest tidal wave of our time.”

The congressman is quite right. In the 1971 book Global Ecology: Readings Toward a Rational Strategy for Man, John P. Holdren (in conjunction with his old buddy Ehrlich) prophesized an impending ice age preceeding a period of “global warming”. This again reinforces the fact that Holdren is willing to adopt any and every looming disaster, as long as it can bring about a “planetary regime” to combat these calamities.

When it became apparent in the following decades that the dreaded tidal wave was reluctant to manifest itself, Holdren returned to his default position: “If man survives the comparatively short-term threat of making the planet too cold, there is every indication he is quite capable of making it too warm not long thereafter.”

For the eugenicists behind front-man Barack Obama this position guarantees a win-win situation. If the Big Chill would not ensue, there was always a global warming to fall back to. If the earth gets colder, we need depopulation and global government. If the gets hotter, well, we need the same. After the calamity is defined, one can always find a chart of pre-programmed computer model to legitimize it.

C'mon. Tell the truth.

You would NOT miss it if NYC fell into the ocean.

The next threatening catastrophe will no doubt be the entire ecological system on earth in a normal state. This will call for extreme measures by a global govt. But I'll leave it for the govt gurus to tell us how to combat shear run of the mill normal conditions. So far what it looks like govt has done to combat the dread terror of normal conditions on planet earth is to bring to bear the institutions of homosexuality, abortion, civil war and starvation in remote places, highway death and destruction due to panicked drivers listening to senators on the news, displacing animals by paving over their habitat, and diseases such as aids and spurious vaccines.

VSC, maybe an answer to your question is what NY, NY's (Jewish) Mayor Koch said at one time: "The Catholic Church is the glue that holds the city together"

My husband and I live a block away from our church which hosted (too) many Funeral Masses after 9/11. We used to love the music of bagpipes on St. Patrick's Day but heard them too often for a Policeman's or Firefighter's Funeral~ the "First Responders"

From time to time have seen a Fire Truck nicknamed "Tombstone Territory" which was donated to our city by our sister (in sorrow) city Oklahoma City. Now we have yet another "sister city"~ Fort Hood, Texas.

Mayor Koch recognises TRUE Heroes and although his health has been in decline the past few years he can always be found on Christmas Eve~ in the first pew of St. Patrick's Cathedral at Midnight Mass.

Here in NY, NY we're keeping the joyful hope of the return of our Saviour, Jesus Christ!

At mass on Sunday our priest told us to take "Climate Change" pamphlests from the back. I couldn't believe it!! Environmentalist propaganda right there in our church and being mentioned by our priest from the pulpit!

The Church is pro-life and Environmentalists hate humanity. Sorry but the two do NOT belong anywhere near each other!
