Yet Another Reason To Avoid The Harry Potter Movies

As usual, Rump Rangers and their allied FoRR demand that everyone be tolerant and accepting of sexual perversion and deviance. That is unless you happen to disagree with them.

Harry Potter Star Blasts Parents Who Oppose Gay Sex Ed in Schools
By John-Henry Westen
LONDON, August 13, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - 20-year-old Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has, in an interview with a homosexual magazine, expressed anger and intolerance for parents who oppose education about homosexual sex in the classroom. "Then there's all this stuff at the moment, which is hateful, about people being up in arms about the idea of gay sex education in schools. Hello!?! Actually for the one or two gay kids in the class, it's f***ing vital! It really makes me angry," he said in an interview with Attitude. (I can almost see him pouting and lisping his was through his lil' hissy fit.)
The magazine quotes Radcliffe continuing his tirade against pro-family parents saying: "I just loathe homophobia. It's just disgusting and animal and stupid and it's just thick people who can't get their heads around it and are just scared." (How about those who find it perverted and filthy that certain individuals find nothing wrong with one male of the species sloshing is penis around in another male of the species feces filled colon?)
He concluded the point assuring his interviewer, "I'm not just saying that because I'm being interviewed for Attitude. I'd be using a lot stronger language if this wasn't on tape." (Stronger than dropping an F-Bomb? Gee, what a guy. What was he going to do for an encore, shit on the table?)
Radcliffe returned to the theme when asked about Potter author Rowlings' admission that she intended one of the characters in the novels and film to be homosexual. "The idea that there can't be a gay character in a kid's film," he said. "It's the same thing, this terrible fear of exposing anybody below the age of consent to anything vaguely gay … it's ridiculous. I just brushed those questions aside. I'd never normally do that but some things I won't waste my time with." (Funny, you're being interviewed about something you normally "won't waste my time with". The stench of your hypocracy is overwhelming.)
Explaining his stance on the issue Radcliffe said, "I grew up around gay people entirely." (Ahhh... so he grew up assuming that a feces encrusted penis IS the same thing as one's moral compass. That makes things much clearer.) And for those who may not have seen it, here's a bit of a posting I did back in December of '06;
The Only Disorder That's Protected By the Federal Government
...and state government, and city government, and corporate policy
I've also linked to this article from CatholicEducation.org that uses medical terminology, but still paints a very disturbing picture of the results of the homosexual act. Everything from anal cancer being 10 times greater in homosexuals than heterosexuals, to parasitic infections due to oral-anal contact, to the colon actually "falling out" of the rectum because it has been, in essence, turned inside-out.
After reading this, I'm sure you'll agree that there is nothing associated with homosexuality that even remotely resembles "normal".

Further proof that you should avoid the movies, which suck anyway, and stick to the books, which are brilliant -- and very Catholic in their orientation.
A 20-year-old "actor" (Radcliffe sucks at acting), who probably has never once had an original thought bounce around in his brain housing group, blathers on about the joys and wonderfulness of homosex, and the MSM halts dead in its tracks and goes ga-ga, as if, in today's world, he's said something really really brave, like, um, you know.
Meanwhile, at my parish yesterday, in honor of the Feast of the Assumption we had the first Solemn High Mass celebrated in this diocese in more than 40 years. The world sucks, but God gives us these little drops of honey from Heaven, if only to remind us that he is still in charge and the lunatics only think they are running the asylum.
And here I thought that Danny boy was a raging hetero! It is all so wonderful being lectured to by a kid barely out of his childhood.
BTW, Cavey, that is a very nice posterioroni in that picture!
Isn't it interesting how these comments come out now that the books are all published and the money has already been made? As for Radcliffe, he's just a dumb kid and he's English so what do you expect?
Chestertonian: You said: "The world sucks, but God gives us these little drops of honey from Heaven, if only to remind us that he is still in charge and the lunatics only think they are running the asylum."
Thanks for the insightful comment, as I often need to be reminded of this.
Hey, Tolkien and Lewis were English, as were a raft or two of saints. Dumb kid, though, certainly.
There's one thing about homosexuality that's pretty normal. Most people will rationalize and make excuses for their regular sins, if not claim that they're either morally neutral or actually virtues.
Hey, cut him some slack, because you know what?
When I was 19, 20, I probably would have had the exact same opinions as Radcliffe. Seriously.
In fact, thanks to some rather anti-Catholic, anti-conservative professors, I was a pretty flaming liberal. Now, six years later, I'm a very conservative Catholic whose views on stuff like this have done a complete 180º with my conversion.
The saying goes, "If you're 20 and not liberal, you have no heart. If you're 30 and not conservative, you have no brain." 0r something like that...Radcliffe's definitely in the all heart, no brain phase...
Much of what you say is true, Amy. But if I may be so bold, at least someone pointed certain truths out to you in your youth that made the lights come on.
Be best form of charity that could be given to the young Mr. Radcliffe, is the open, unvarnished, sometimes very hard hitting, truth.
He's a big boy. He *should* be able to take it.
Heresy Hunter: you're welcome!
Oh, I don't disagree. But I also have to say that the truth was accompanied by lots of prayer...my husband (at the time my boyfriend) prayed for me a lot as I was going through the growing pains of leaving liberalism behind.
It was something I didn't know until well after the fact, either, and something that touched me so deeply it brings a tear to my eye.
What you're seeing with Radcliffe (and a lot of the younger generation - and keep in mind I'm not that much older than Radcliffe) is the product of years of feel-good indoctrination without a jot of consideration for logic or morality. This is a failing of his parents, of a lot of parents, and of our culture as a whole. In Britain, Radcliffe and his like-minded cohorts will be in for a RUDE awakening when Islam takes over** and they have no choice or freedom to express views that offend Muslims. His career as an actor will be over, as will his residency in the UK, most likely.
I'm frankly surprised someone from the studio doesn't tell him to hold his tongue, seeing as he's compounding the prejudice toward Harry Potter in conservative, religious circles.
***By the way, did you see this story? In the UK, public pools now have Muslim-only swim hours where anyone else who wants to swim has to dress according to Islamic custom. I can't find it, but I predicted a couple of years ago the day is coming when non-Muslim societies will be forced to conform to Islamic dress in public to avoid offending Muslims. This is just another step in that direction (and supporting what I said about Radcliffe being in for a rude awakening one of these days).
When I was 19, 20, I probably would have had the exact same opinions as Radcliffe. Seriously.

Radcliffe is not an anonymous 20 year old. His name is a household name, so whatever he opines publicly has consequences.
Off subject, but anyone notice how anorexic the two in the photo are?
