OK, the Defeatocrats accused Bush of choosing Cheney so there would be some adult leadership in his administration. At least Cheney has a set of stones.
So why was that doofus from a pip-squeak state chosen to be at the bottom of the ticket? Comic relief. That's the only conclusion I can come up with.
By the way, Joey Hairplugs garnered less votes nationwide in the Democratic primaries, than the total population of the Alaska town Sarah Palin was mayor of.
