This is What Indifference Breeds
Time asks why is the Pope silent on Notre Dame

Of course we all knew that this would eventually come up. The Holy See has not pubically joined the fray except for Archbishop Raymond Burke. I am not calling out the Holy Father, but I ask myself where are ALL the voices. If Rome along with all of the Bishops in the USCCB were to have spoken in unison the sound would have shaken Notre Dame to the ground. These collaborators of evil would be cowering in darkness.

Instead, the voices are heard as sporadic and spastic utterances from an extreme few who are viewed as backward thinkers. We cannot and will not change anything until the leadership of the Catholic Church can speak with one loud and clear voice. This is what the opposition does consistantly without fear. They are the ones who should be fearful, they are the ones who should be running from the light of day.

Please Rome come to our rescue, carve out this pestilence! The local Bishops will do nothing to help us and those that try are too few. Do not allow these betrayers of the Holy Mother to marginalize the faithful!

When you a catholic priest setting his private security force onto another catholic priest and the local Bishops seem to have no authority to stop it I don't see how the Vatican can justify not acting, they seem to be the only people who could possibly have stopped this disaster.

Now the traitors are even arresting priests who disagree with them, there's not much more they could do to make it clear they are enemies of the Church than that.

Well we now know for sure that Ex Corde Ecclesiae is a paper tiger.

Where is the bishop protest against places like ND having heretics in teaching positions? Isn’t that just as bad as the Obama thing? Where is there protest and continuing action against these men and women who have been for years in these Universities spreading their error and heresy??

I think that the Pope did not speak because he was following the rule of subsidiarity; namely, that the country's bishops would handle it. Gotta run and take care of a crying child....
