Alligator Tears For Sea-Borne Terrorists

Aw, bullshit. You knew this was coming... liberal sorry-asses are now wringing their hands and beating their breasts over the poor widdle boys that our mean ol' SEALs greased.
Teen piracy suspect raises legal, moral issues
WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. officials, in deciding how to handle the lone surviving pirate from the hostage-taking of an American ship captain, must weigh the violence of the suspects actions against his surprisingly young age.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Monday the four pirates were between 17 and 19 years old.
Jo Becker, a D.C.-based advocate for Human Rights Watch, said if the pirate suspect is in fact 16 or 17 years old, "he would certainly be entitled to protections under international law that allow for lower culpability of juveniles involved in crimes."
Becker says international law recognizes that people under 18 are "less developed, less mature, and more easily manipulated by adults." (But old enough to commit piracy on the high seas.)
Ideally, Becker said, an underage suspect would be tried in a juvenile court, with special protections given his age. "He would need to have access to family members. Throughout the whole process, there needs to be a special view to his rehabilitation," she added. (Does a case of Navy-induced lead poisoning count as rahabilitation?) I wonder how many men aboard the Bainbridge or the SEAL teams were between the ages of 17 and 19? As someone who joined my beloved Corps at the age of 17 as well as whose father joined the Navy at the age of 14, I have to ask the musical question; "who the hell gives a shit if the terrorists were teenagers?"
I've also read another maggoty-assed pissy article bemoaning the "untrained teens". As we use to say in the Marine Corps - "educated bullets have no respect for untrained troops."
Untrained Somalis, may I introduce you to educated SEALs?

I wonder at times about things like this. Lets say this kid is taken away by the meanest assholes in the world at about age 8-9 and for the next few years forced into wars and killing and rape. by the time he is 16-18 he has been turned into a monster. I think the whining should be directed at the Islamic community that grows hatred in places that are called to bring people to God, their churches. But is the kid at fault here? I have issues with it but as long as the media refuses to name the true enemy here and wring their hands about America, we will be forced to waste these lives sending them to the great hole in the sky for mulims who think killing will get them to some promised land.
Let's see if I understand this correctly. There were probably four SEAL snipers. Three hit their targets and one missed. Sounds like an Article 15 to me! LOL
The kid is 17 going on 87--he had a freakin' gun in his hands for heaven's sake!

Dear Cavemen,
Sorry to be off topic, but I can't find an email address.
Thought you might be interested in a story of a brave pastor on Long Island who last Sunday took the bold and unprecedented step of banning Communion in the Hand temporarily in his parish after several cases of desecration and abuse of Consecrated Hosts in his parish.
The DRVC, however, has already made him resume Communion in the Hand, but many Catholics think this was a terrible humiliation of this great man.
This is just speculation but I really doubt that this law-abiding priest, a former Naval chaplain, took this step without first seeking permission from Bp. Murphy.
After the complaints rolled in, however, our 'conservative' bishop no doubt turned the tables on him in typical fashion.
If you'd like to read more, here's a link to a recent post and a slideshow documenting this really disgraceful incident:

God bless for all you do,
Jim D.
I have heard conflicting report as to how many shots were fired or that one bullet took all of them out. Either way, I don't care. If it was one bullet for multiple targets, the sniper should be commended. I hope all the seals involved had a good steak dinner that evening with the command staff.
Actually the idiot fourth pirate survived because he agreed to be taken aboard one of the ships for medical treatment--stab wound to the hand. Let's hope he gets life imprisonment without parole!
Kudos to the Navy SEALS.
