Thankful for - The Sacrifice of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ makes my quest for salvation even possible.

Not thankful for - That I hafta deal with so many dip-shits on the way. I know I gotta love 'em Lord, but do I gotta like 'em?

Thankful for - That my wonderful wife always goes 110% during the Holidays. All the standard Holiday fare to be served up, plus the decorative theme both inside and outside the house signifying the particular holiday at hand.

Not thankful for - She's quickly becoming "that crazy lady down the street with all the decorations". Well, at least she doesn't leave the Christmas lights out all year. Oh, and that she whips up enough chow to feed the 2d Marine Division.

Thankful for - Dawn Wells helping me make it through puberty.

Not thankful for - Congressentity Bella Abzug scaring the hell outta me during the same time frame.

Thankful for - Chicago Transit Authority, Spike Jones, The Beatles, Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky, Tower of Power, Gregorio Allegri, Benny Goodman, Martha and the Vandellas, Blue Öyster Cult.

Not thankful for - Ice T, Vanilla Ice, Ice Cube, Ice Tray, Ice Pack, Ice Age, Ice Box, Ice Berg (Jewish rappers, I think), Disco overall, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Johann Sebastian Bach, The Bee-Gees, 90's Complaint Rock.

Thankful for - The next four years of slamming the South-Side Stooge.
