I Gotta Come Clean
When you screw-up, admit it
Last week I did a post on "Friendship". Well, I screwed-up mightily. That post was sent to me via e-mail from a friend. It is NOT original material.
As many of you who visit this blog already know, it's not uncommon for me to post 2 or 3... sometimes even 4 posts a day. As far as this particular one is concerned, I flat-out failed to give the requisite "helmet tip" to my buddy Charlie C for sending this to me. I readily admit that I screwed-up.
One blogger (Melanie B.) has already sent me a corrective note (and I published it), and I've made the correction on the posting itself. But I don't think that's enough on my part.
I'm trying to contact the folks who are linking this to set the record straight. I honestly wasn't trying to deceive anyone... I was in such a hurry that I just plain old forgot to type in that this was sent to me. And yes, I should have caught it when I rcv'd various comments, but I didn't.
Would it help if I said I feel like a 1st class jack-ass?

Not really--'cause you're not.
at best you're a jackass 3d class. Failure to proof read isn't enough to get you to 1st class.
Really, loved the post, and I'm thanking charlie now.
I realized straight off that you made a simple and honest mistake because I've received that same email a dozen times. I'm sure everyone else has too. I don't think anyone (except the Liberals) thought you were trying to pull a fast one. God bless!!
