Mantillas And Murder
Women aren't special, neither are their unborn children. Kill 'em all.

Now that the title and subtitle has gotten your attention... let's have some straight talk. An interesting stat came to my attention this morning, and I also found this article from ABC News, with the headline - Murder Is One of Top Causes of Death for Pregnant Women

That story, as well as a couple of other news stories I've heard as of late, tell that the cause of death for roughly one out of five pregnant women is murder. And then there is this report from American Journal of Public Health that states the following;

...31.0% of women died as a result of homicide, ranking homicide as the second leading cause of total reported injury deaths among pregnant women and postpartum women, following deaths caused by motor vehicle accidents (44.1%). The rest of the pregnancy-associated injury deaths were attributed to unintentional injuries (12.7%), suicide (10.3%), and other (2.0%).

Well, now comes the time when The Caveman gets to ask the real hard question. And here it is - why is it, Mr. & Mrs. Western Civilization, that you are so damned surprised, shocked and disturbed that all this garbage is coming to a head? Hellfire, Mr. & Mrs. Western Civilization... isn't this what you've been striving for the past few decades?

Unborn children aren't special. The religion that "Reproductive Rights" has become has proven that time and again. Millions and millions of butchered children.... just as many stunned, bloodied, and lied to women who've had their wombs ripped into so the Planned Parenthood Gestapo & Friends crowd could claim another ghoulish victory.

And like I said, women aren't anything special. Women aren't ladies anymore... they're equal. Doing such horrible things such as referring to a women older than you as Ma'am; holding the door open; pulling her chair out; helping her carry her groceries; slugging some creep who would dare to drop F-Bombs in front of the womenfolk, physically intervene if a woman is being mugged/beaten, etc, etc, are considered acts of a...well... a caveman. And we are all taught that acts such as those are better left in the Stone Age. As Mamma Caveman once told me when I was but a wee Caveboy, "why should I step down to be 'equal' to men? I like being treated like a lady."

But hey, men have forgotten how to conduct themselves like gentlemen.... how to act manly. Men and women are slowly mutating into some sort of an androgynous freak. And this is exactly what the Social Engineers have been striving towards for decades. So is it any wonder that a woman, pregnant or otherwise, should be looked upon as special? Children aren't to be respected, women aren't to be respected, men aren't to be respected. Know why? Because respect is based on moral absolutes. And nothing sends a Liberal into a screeching melt-down like a moral absolute of any kind.

You know, Mrs. Caveman (a convert) once asked my why Catholic women wore Mantillas at Mass. Without getting deep into Sacred Scripture, the short answer was "as in the case of the Tabernacle, the Catholic Church has always been in the habit of placing a veil on what is considered sacred".

Well, for the most part, Catholic women don't wear Mantillas at Mass anymore, one would be hard pressed to even FIND a Tabernacle at the more "modern" parishes, and most Catholics have no problem putting as baby butcher in the White House.

THIS is progress?

Finnaly, I got the nerve to cover my head at Mass. Father Erik gave a "Latin" mass for his 13th ordination anniversary. He is so supportive of me wearing a head covering, after he said, "Tara, if anyone gives you a hard time for covering your head, tell them they should get one to cover their face."

I respect the way you view woman--but being a Marine--I would not expect less. Thank you for this respect--Your wife should consider herself blessed.

Covering a womans head, because she's sacred--wow--maybe I should shave--(sorry, couldn't resist)--LOL!

Amen to that! I LIKE this lady! And I like to be treated like a lady: all you men out there can open doors for me, slug F-bombing creeps, help me carry groceries, and protect me TO YOUR HEARTS' CONTENT!

Oh, and just for the record, I also wear a mantilla.

I for one absolutely love when a man holds the door open for me or allows you to cross in front of him in a store or any other setting. I know that there are a few men out there like that, including mine. I wouldn't want it any other way. As for wearing veils to Mass, I do that as well and I feel honored to be able to. I love being a "Real Woman" and Love to see "A Real Gentleman" out there in the world. A man of good morals is highly desirable and very much respected in my book! I just wish there was more logical thinking out there

My first post to you, Caveman. I read your blog all the time, and I am (gasp!) a Protestant sister to Random Brown. I like most of your stuff -- I really liked this post.

Well said, and I too like being treated like a lady. I need to add one thing to your sentiment though: to be treated like a lady, one needs to first think of themselves as a lady, and second needs to ACT like a lady.

When all the Equal Right Amendment started in the '60s my mother had the same attitude as Mother Caveman. No one had to tell her she was equal to a man -- she knew sure was smarter and sharper than most of them. And another lesson she taught us early on (and just once, I might add) is "Boys don't hit girls." If boys were taught that and girls (and women) demanded it, mayve there would be a lot less domestic violence in the country. But, as you say, Vir, womankind is reaping the eqaulity seeds they sowed decades ago.

I appreciate a kind caveman over a rude jerk anyday.
Along those lines, my elderly, but unflappable, father, went to Arby's one day. Walked up to the counter and innocently said, "Honey, I'd like a (some sandwich of some sort)" The cashier, with all the venom she could muster, said, "Only my boyfriend calls me 'honey!!'" To which my father calmly responded, "Alright, asshole, I'd like a (whatever sandwich he had first said.)"

Dear Mr. Caveman;

I love Catholic Cavemen and former Altar Boys. I'm married to one!

It's high time that ladies and gentlemen took back the U.S.! Men should be "allowed" to BE men and women should also be "permitted" to BE ladies!

"Social engineering" is unnatural and in the end, anti-God!

I wore my mantilla for the first time the other day after reading a wonderful pamphlet from requiem Press stating just what you did.

And I have been trying to start a Men's Rights movement for a long time.

You go Man!

Thanks, Caveman! A friend once shared with me her philosophy in raising her sons (she had 3, I have 4) and this has stuck with me: treat all women (except feminists) as "ladies" if you wish to encourage "ladylike" behavior. This doesn't work for feminists...they have abdicated their right to be treated as a lady by rejecting their femininity. We are seeing the long term results of feminist ideology in the very trends you have cited. Gentlemen...step forward!! Ladies...retreat!!
