Cindy was also the Guest of Honor at The People’s Weekly World Banquet . Oh, by the way... the People's Weekly World is the official newpaper for the Communist Party, USA.

Here is someone who was a so-called "Catholic Youth Minister" at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vacaville, California. I've always despised the Novus Ordo obsession with calling everyone a "minister of this", or a "minister of that", but that's a different post. Anyhow, didn't someone at St. Mary's know that Comrade Cindy was so enamored of Communist sympathizers and outright Communists? No one develops Sheehan's maniacal embrace of such in a blink of an eye. But no one at St. Mary's noticed? Hmmm... I guess Comrade Cindy just fit right in at all those Peace and Social Justice seminars, huh?
I also couldn't help but notice how she prostitutes her Catholicism when the time is right... and the cameras are rolling. Didn't anyone ever tell Comrade Cindy that Catholicism and Communism don't mix? Obviously, her priest didn't.

The priest might have told her that commies aren't cool, but I get the feeling that Cindy is a law unto herself.
I hear her family has disowned her. Sad.
Yes, most of Cindy's family has made an effort to distance themselves from her. It's obvious they don't agree with her views and agenda, and while I respect her right to mourn as a mother who lost her son, I can't stand her.
Sweetness & Light (link is found through my blog) chronicles the exploits of Cindy and her friends...it's really an upsetting tragedy.
