FSSP And SSPX Unite In Prayer
Gregorian "Rap" update

150 Traditional Catholics, some that attend Mass celebrated by the SSPX, some that attend Mass celebrated by the FSSP, joined together in recitation of The Holy Rosary and other prayers... outdoors... in Kansas... in January to make reparation for a Gregorian "rap concert" taking place inside a so-called "Catholic" church.

I'm not going to post the entire article, just the last paragraph.

Sociologists talk about the manifest (intended) and latent (unintended) functions of a social event. Although the manifest function of this event was to make reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, the unintended result was a gathering of traditional Catholics who rarely see one another. It is my hope that the traditional faithful will continue to pray for one another, our Church, and come together as the Church Militant when our Holy Faith is attacked by the Evil One.

That pretty much says it all for me.

Seems it was not so long ago that the Society of St. Peter was the Society of St. Pius X. This article says a lot.
