Social Security, Abortion, and the Year 2025
In 1950, there were 16 workers for each Social Security retiree. Present day, that number has dropped to 3.3 workers per retiree, and by 2025, it will take two workers per retiree.
LifeNews.com is reporting that since the US Supreme Court legalized abortion in 1973, 53 million American children have had their lives terminated via the abortion procedure.
America has always had enough citizens to pay for Social Security. The only problem -- we keep killing them.

This Moment of Lunacy was Brought to you by The Second Vatican Council
Rorate Caeli has posted the 'Pre-Party Mass' in the Archiocese of Maringá, Brazil. The novel way of the entrance of the Gospel is quite interesting (1 minute into the video).
Contacted by a concerned Catholic by e-mail, the Archbishop of Maringá responded thus:
The pre-party masses are the mass of the Roman Ritual [sic] which all of us Roman Apostolic Catholics celebrate. It is just celebrated with certain symbols, dances, for young people... [sic]
No one needs to be scandalized by this... [sic]
God bless you!!

Planned Parenthood Rabbi Given Pulpit at Austin Catholic Church
Editor's note: Since the publication of this story, the Austin diocese has canceled the planned event, read the coverage here .)
By John-Henry Westen
AUSTIN, TX, September 15, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Rabbi Alan Freedman is a big name in the abortion industry in Texas; according to his information page at Temple Beth Shalom, he is currently “serving on the Board of Planned Parenthood in Austin.” The Planned Parenthood website confirms the fact. Despite this, the rabbi has been given permission to hold Jewish religious services at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Austin Texas. Next Saturday, the Catholic Mass will even be relegated to the chapel, while the Jewish service, led by the Planned Parenthood rabbi, meets in the main body of the Church.

Too fat to fight
1. Obesity.
2. High school drop-out.
3. Police record. Long story short, America youth is becoming fat, stupid and criminal.
But to better illustrate a perfect example of softness from above, pause the below video at the 30 second mark.
The gut on that General is a wonderful example a force that's too fat to fight.
Without even walking into the recruiter's office, it's already been determined that roughly 3 out of every 4 American youth are ineligible to serve in the Armed Forces.
The three main reasons;
2. High school drop-out.
3. Police record.

...More on the Religion of Peace
So with all the hullabaloo about the Quran burning, I think we have lost sight of something. First as I understand it muslims are to follow the 10 Commandments. Their prophet Mohammed who inspired, was recorded, or wrote (not clear which) the Hadith contradicts the 10 Commandments. We all know the 8th Commandment, "Thou Shalt not Bear False Witness Against thy Neighbor". Some of us have learned that muslims are not only "allowed" to lie, but are encouraged to lie in order defeat the unbeliever (non-muslims). See link for explanations.
As a Catholic I know of no instance where it is acceptable for me to lie. If I do I must confess my sin because I have put myself outside of God's grace. If I compound that lie by committing the act with the full awareness that I can just go to the closest Priest and confess that would be a presumption of God's mercy. This is also a sin which cannot be absolved unless spoken in a confessional as well to wit your confessor could choose not to grant absolution. That would be extreme but that is the chance you would be taking. In either case regardless of the forgiveness one would receive we learn that we are damaging our souls each time we sin.
A Priest once told me that sin is like a nail that gets put into a fresh piece of drywall. When you go to confession the nail gets pulled out but the hole is still there, it cannot be repaired until purgatory. Catholics understand that ANY sin harms the soul and that there are no exceptions to that. Frankly any faith that tells you that you can use the tools of satan (death, force, and deciet) in order to win converts or destroy opposition is being decieved.
Muslims must begin to think long and hard on who would benefit if they were lead astray from the 10 Commandments. There is only one I know of and that is Satan.
Should this man burn the Quran? In my opinion no, but not because it would offend muslims. I don't think he should because in the end it will make it harder to convert muslims.

The Running Of The Saints
A tradition on the rebound here in The States?
Helmet tip to Former Altar Boy
From St. Anne's Catholic Church (TLM only) in San Diego, California. My hometown!
On Sunday July 25 2010 about 60 men of the parish "ran with the saints" as the high point for the parish's two day fiesta in honor of Saint Anne. There were two biers, one for St. Michael and one for Saint Anne. They weighed 400 and 350 pounds respectively. Eight men carried the bier itself while others on the team jogged nearby ready for their turn.
Irving Street, which the church fronts, was closed for one half of a mile to Caesar Chavez Boulevard. The men carried the biers from the church to Caesar Chavez Boulevard and back for a round trip of one mile.
The purpose of the exercise is to make a public statement of devotion to the saints. The Running of the Saints is like a tradition parade-like procession, but with a greater element of public devotion and penance.
The music being played during the video is a recording of the parish choir during Mass.
One last thing: it was NOT a race.

More 'Fruits of Vatican II"
Vocations plummet in Ireland
Vocations on the Emerald Isle are dropping like a stone. A total of sixteen are entering the seminary in Ireland this year, which is down from 39 last year. During the 1980s, the national average was slightly over 150 per year. Ireland currently has 99 seminarians, while England and Wales have 150.
According to Father Patrick Rushe, national coordinator for diocesan vocation directors, "The recent difficulties with Church scandals mean that those thinking tentatively about priesthood... are not going to be launching themselves forward."
Just a few generations ago, Ireland was known as the very cradle of the Catholic priesthood in the Western world.
Entry into Irish seminaries and convents have been evaporating since the 'improvements' brought about ever since the secular-friendly Second Vatican Council of the 1960s.

It's Moved!!
Joe over at Defend Us In Battle has some great news. The sham 'consecrations' that I just posted about, have been moved from Our Lady of Guadeloupe Catholic Church, to someplace else that heretics hang out.
Personally, I'm still curious as to why a Catholic parish was chosen for this fraud to begin with.
