Last year our parish bulletin (my former parish) had a crack about the obsolete nation-state system and the benefits of a One World Order [government] (you know . . . like the Third Reich, international communism Stalin-style . . . etc.). As a result, I wrote a polite letter of complaint to my pastor. I included other things in the letter such as too much noise in Church and not respecting the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle. I told him I was a veteran of the U.S. Navy including a Naval Advisor in Vietnam.

To his credit, he replied by letter, thanking me for my military service, stating that his late father was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy (same with my late father), and stated that the offending section about world government was inserted into the bulletin without his knowledge or permission. He also stopped any future egregious statements about politics. He tried to stop the noise in Church, but wasn't entirely successful. Same with the lack of respect shown to the Blessed Sacrament when the tabernacle was open. Ah, the "spirit" of Vatican II in action!

It seems that some liberal Canossian nun on the parish staff who prepares the Sunday bulletins did this. The Canossians in my area have a reputation for being very liberal, theologically and now apparently politically. These are mostly filipina women Canossians which surprises me. I had always thought that filipinos were fairly conservative folks. I guess not, at least vis-a-vis the Canossians.

At least it got me back to the TLM permanently. Gotta be grateful to that witch for doing that! :-))

The surest way to give up one's political freedoms is to let some world Government run our affairs, that and letting the Canossian sisters run amuck.; 1:31 PM

Which means that elderly senior citizens will be euthanized involuntarily because they are parasites on the earth's atmosphere and a useless economic burden.

There is excess CO2 in the Congress building, especially when in session.

I believe it's excess methane (CH4) as the politicos f*rt through their mouths all the time, especially Nancy & Harry. CH4 is another green house gas.; 12:32 PM
