Welcome To The USSRA
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics of Ameяika
Remember the other day when I posted that video of that dope in the "Rock The Vote" spot? Remember how he whined that it's soooooo tough on young people who don't have health insurance?
I'd like to point out to this doofus -- what'll you think'll happen to anyone, young or otherwise, who chooses not to have health insurance under the Obama Plan?
I'll tell you what. Arrest - Fines - Jail.
For the first time in the history of this republic, the Congress and the President have made it punishable by law that citizens are required to purchase a product or service.
This is freedom? This is what the Founding Fathers envisioned? This is America? I think not.
But this is the America we ourselves have placed into power. Here's some of the article from CNSNews.com; (Emphasis mine)

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) – Senator Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) said that Congress has the authority to mandate that people buy health insurance and that there is no constitutional limit on Congress’ power to enact such mandates, adding that this unlimited authority stemmed from the Commerce clause of the Constitution.
Feinstein said: “Well, I would assume it would be in the Commerce clause of the Constitution. That’s how Congress legislates all kinds of various programs.”
CNSNews.com followed up by asking Sen. Feinstein whether this broad power had any limits: “If there’s a health insurance mandate, is there a limit to that authority? Is there something that can’t be mandated?”
Feinstein responded: “My own view is that there is not, within health insurance.”

O Lord save thy people and bless thy inheritance.
For crying out loud!!! It is no wonder these people can time and again do the things they do which pretty much pisses on the Unites States Consitution all the while knowing they took an oath to uphold that very same constitution!!
I do have a year or more of constitutional law studies in me, but I do not think you have to have had any formal constitutional education to understand just how absurd this statement is.
Even the most extreme interpretations of the Supreme Court's rulings on the commerce clause (i.e. the absurd notion of a "dormant" commerce clause justifying the federal governments regulation of behavior such as things like wheat or tobacco quotas within a state) could not lead a person to reasonably conclude the Constitution grants the federal government this type of power.
These people are by no means competent to hold public office.
Here is one for you, I am being publicly slammed by the ACLU for my standing up for the constitution. Go figure. No responses from my repeated requests for an apology from the organization.
It has never been about the constitution, or the intent of our founders. It has always been about power. If the government can become the provider of any need you have, then they have the control necessary to make you act in the way that they wish you to act.
This is not new, and this is why they are pushing this agenda so hard, and along with climate change. This idea has been around since Jimmy Carter, and even earlier than that. It is just that the American people were smarter (or at least more Americans were smarter). Now we have a bunch of voters who only care to be entertained, we have officially become the Roman Empire of old. We may manage to kick out the crap in 2010, but if we don't take back over the schools, universities, and local governments we will be right back here in 10-15 years.
I don't even know where to begin...
I'm one of those youngin's that don't really want health insurance now I'm going to be forced to buy insurance or i go to jail...I mean I knew I was going to end up going for being Catholic, but no health insurance?....
I didn't vote for Zero et elk in this election, this isn't on my conscience...but I appologize for all of the idiots in my generation...of course wait, those clowns in the government are running the schools too ;)
The government that is big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take it all away too.
Malta isn't looking so bad at this moment...either that or a full on take over of the USSRA.

Vir, check this out; maybe you can use it.
The ministry partner in India stated “We think that it might have something to do with the avenging the blood of martyrs. In fact the fear of God has fallen on the local people, who have labeled these elephants “Christian elephants.”
Christian elephants? If not, then they must be baptized sub conditione ASAP! LOL
Looks to me like the Wrath of God at work.
