"It [Guam] Will Become So Overly Populated That It Will Tip Over And Capsize."
- Rep. Hank Johnson (D) Georgia's 4th Congressional District
File this under "You Can't Make Up Something This Stupid".
There are currently plans to move the 3d Marine Division from Okinawa, Japan to the US Territory of Guam. Here's some of the Congressional hearings.
Keep in mind, Hank Johnson is an elected official who votes on literally life and death decisions. I wonder if he's against missions to the moon because of the damage it will do to the green cheese.
Or as Mrs. Caveman says: "let's hope an earthquake doesn't hit Florida. It might break off and float away."

Just my imagination but doubt that anyone in Jackson's "district" is capable of filling in a census form.
Sorry, had to watch this again, please allow me to correct the "esteemed gentleman's" name ~ Johnson.
The Admiral could have gotten a hernia trying to stifle that guffaw but anyone as stupid as Johnson's enough to make a grown man cry.
There seems to be no end to the contempt the DC crowd has for the USA
Now, now, Cavey. Maybe Marines are just tooooo heavy, man.
Seriously, if Johnson's not kidding, he needs to be psychologically assesed. Oy!
VSC~ Please share this msg with Mrs. Caveman: After the earthquake hits FLA would it float to Cuba, drift around for a bit, then pick up some Haitians on the way back?
About Haitians, saw a photo shorty after their earthquake where a family was gathered around and although water was in short supply, guess who was in the middle of the family, enjoying a little bath ~ The Baby!!! They might be poverty-stricken but somehow they had their priorities in order.
