Let's Play A Game!!
Spot the announcement for The Latin Mass
The same old is still the same old at St. Mary's in Wilmington.
Father Zuhlsdorf has already commented on his blog concerning some rather "interesting" comments made by the pastor of St Mary's in Chains.
I'll cheat a bit, and give the announcement itself;
A forma extraordinaria, as a diocesan ministry, is celebrated at 7:00 p.m. the last Sunday of each month at St. Mary Church. (January 31st) Now just try to find it. Don't blink!

So, since it isn't listed on pg 2 under the liturgies/paralitugies is he implying that this isn't a liturgy/Mass???? I suspect that is so since the word Mass is left out of the announcement as well.
& of course New Age Centering prayer gets a much higher profile. & is found several pages sooner in the bulletin.
Not only is the placement and print terrible, but who in the hell even knows what the forma extraordinaria is? The games this man plays are fantastic!
Confiteor,
And he gets away with it on a daily basis.
Remember Jesus' instruction to "Seek and you shall find" might apply to Parish Bulletins, too. This priest might be trying to "hide" the goodness of the Latin Mass. He's a LAZY priest. Our Papa Benedict's trying to restore a tremendous gift and he needs our help.
