Update On The USCCB Scandal, Part III
Deeper and deeper
This installment of The Vortex gives direct links between the USCCB and both the Democratic Party and the Obama for President campaign. And let's not forget that it was Abp Burke who referred to the Dems as "the Party of Death".

The paint is peeling off the walls. Time to lift our Bishops out of the muck, and send the progressives pakcing.
I'm shocked, shocked, to find that the USCCB has direct links to the "Party of Death." Oh, please.
The USCCB began to feel the heat back last fall when several stories came out linking the USCCB to ACORN; just before the annual CCHD [Catholic Campaign for Human Development] collection in November. According to a story by Ryan Ellis, the bishops gave million$ of dollars over the last decade, "to fund a group which steals elections for pro-abortion candidates for office." This USCCB-ACORN association angered a lot of people. The bishops soon felt the full brunt of the pressure that came from individuals, bloggers, and organizations. One group, Reform CCHD Now Coalition, even had a downloadable coupon to stick in the collection envelope instead of a donation.
Despite the assertions of Bishop Roger P. Morin of Biloxi, Miss, that the CCHD provides funds to groups in line with Church teaching, and any claims to the contrary are outrageous, the fact remains that the CCHD gave millions to ACORN. The bishop is the chairman of the subcommittee that oversees the CCHD.
Now, this report linking the USCCB to the Dems and the godling/community organizer, shouldn't surprise anyone. It's probably just another item in a list of scandalous acts that will turn out to be quite long.
Man, the bishops, as well as those who want to hide the truth, must really hate New Media.
