Wolves in sheep's clothing
Have our esteemed shepherds funnelled $150,000 to pro-abortion/pro-homosexual groups? You be the judge.

In 1985 I began working for a prolife organization created by the bishops. In the two years I was there I found an attitude hostile or at least demeaning to The American Life League. The organization had me call and talk with one of the principals of ALL. In that brief phone conversation, I realized that ALL was on fire for the Lord to stop abortion, and that the organization I worked for, controlled by the bishops, preferred to compromise, dissed more confrontational prolife groups, and sustained a kind of dumbed down attitude ... they were back slappers and had little going for them beyond that. They were not above arrogance, dumping the blame for their stupidity onto those under them, and needlessly insulting the staff. There was an old retired school principal nun there who was always pissed off and did nothing but stuff envelopes. Looking back on it and seeing some of the big scandals coming out of the episcopacy, I can see into the corruption ... it is very tangible. The USCCB makes no real sense.
I have worked for a large well-known pro-life organization for several years. I can assure you that there has been ZERO funds from the USCCB going to pro-life groups who beg for it. It took me half an hour to find who was even in charge of Pro-life, as it had degenerated into some vile thing called "Peace and Justice". When the websites say that...they don't usually have anybody for the unborn. Or if they do, it is a token position with no authority and no money with which to work.
No, there is no reason to think the USCCB is above suspicion. The opposite is true. The USCCB deserves to have every word, every deed viewed with narrowed eyes and it absolutely should never get a penny from the pew. It and it's sister organization the U. N. both need to be dismantled and abolished from our land for all eternity.
My question at this point is simply "What next?" Not that I want to know, just that I am sure they have only scratched the surface. The worst is yet to come.
An Eastern Catholic priest I know once commented that he perceived that so much of the hierarchical Catholic Church (bishops and their organizations) pandered to the pro-life teachings of the Church as their version of political correctness, but were not really committed to the CC's pro-life teachings in any meaningful way. Sort of like the occasional Evangelical preacher who preaches the anti-evolution line without actually believing in anti-evolution; he is just making the expected condemnation (i.e., pandering) of evolution as part of his church's or congregation's party line.
hy am I not surprised at ANY of this? We see apostates running the Church spitting on EVERYTHING She stands for and wonder why the bishops with few exceptions let homosexuals abuse kids & did nothing.
I always used to say that many of those in the Church leadership were at best embarrassed about the Faith or a worst antagonistic towards it. Sadly, the later is most likely the case!
Dismantle the USCCB bureacracy.
What good has it done?
Turn all these second collections into collections to support our Catholic schools, pro-life works, and local neighborhood charitiable works of individual parishes.
