Jessica Alba - Catholic Role Model?
Nooooot quite
Yes, Jessica Alba is one helluva cutie pie. Did I just say "cutie pie"? Hell, she's smokin' hot.
And with that said, I must say it's quite refreshing read this article from CathNewsUSA; (Emphasis mine)
No nudity for Jessica
Citing the influence of her Catholic upbringing, Jessica Alba has vowed never to do onscreen nudity.
Alba admits she's happy to take on sexy roles and don revealing outfits in movies, but fans shouldn't ever expect her to bare all for the cameras, Canoe reports.
She told Britain's Scarlet magazine, "No, I'll never do a nude scene. I can act sexy and wear sexy clothes but I can't go naked. I think I was always very uncomfortable about the way my body developed, and I remember my grandmother would freak out and throw a towel over me if she saw me wearing just a bra and panties.
"I come from a very Catholic family so it wasn't seen as a good thing to flaunt yourself like that. I can handle being sexy with clothes on but not with them off." Without gushing too much over young Jessica, to say that she's pushed the envelope all the way to the edge (and sometimes beyond), would be an understatement of monumental proportions. But I must give her a helmet tip for at least speaking of her Catholicism in a positive way. Like I said... that's refreshing.
And as attractive as Miss Alba is, with all due respect to her, I must say that my then and still all-time favorite from Hollywood is Princess Grace. No one coming out of the world of entertainment will ever come close to matching her grace, class and beauty.

I really hate to disagree with you, Caveman, but since de gustibus non disputandum est, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I know some ladies in their fifties, sixties, and seventies, who are cuter than Jessica Alba. Though she is cute, and the Princess is Grace-ful.
Princess Grace is very beautiful, but my vote goes to Deborah Kerr. Even in character as a nun (Heaven Knows Mr. Allison), she was gorgeous.
Wasn't Princess Grace also a devout Catholic?
Wasn't Kerr Jewish? Did she wear a great sweater in a movie?
Grace Kelly played opposite to Gary Cooper in High Noon. Her acting and charm were to the point where I still don't know if Cooper shot the bad guy or not.
Alba is kind of like an aging teenager.
I'm with you, Cavey. Grace Kelly was an amazing actress and a stunning beauty... and I normally don't care for blondes. But wow. Dial M for Murder, To Catch a Thief, yeah. Wow.
Why did the blonde girl get hurt while raking leaves? She fell out of the tree.
A blonde girl on one side of a wide river called out to a blonde girl on the other side, "How do I get to the other side of the river?" The other one yelled back, "You're already there".
I forgot to mention that the governor of California is a blonde girl.
