The Crash And Burn Of Western Civilization

No explanation needed. Here's some of the article from LifeSiteNews.com; (Emphasis mine)
"Life is Short. Have an Affair.": Toronto Transit System Considered Adultery-Promoting Ad
TORONTO, December 11, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) today rejected a proposed advertising campaign that would have involved wrapping its streetcars with advertisements for the Ashley Madison Agency, an online dating site that promotes adultery.
The advertising plan would have seen one of the city's streetcars wrapped in purple with the phrase, "Life is short. Have an affair," in bold letters running from front to back on both sides. The phrase would also occupy every ad slot inside the vehicle.
Though the TTC is not averse to running controversial ads - earlier this year they approved the atheist bus ad campaign which displayed the slogan, "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life." - the news that they were considering a campaign promoting extra-marital affairs generated strong opposition.

Just saw on the news this evening that TTC will not be showing ad on streetcars. Proposal was rejected. However, other crap likely will be accepted in the future, like the aforementioned atheist ad.
Any semblance to the Christian ethic has disappeared in Toronto politics. However, if you are a homo-vegetarian-non-judgmental-jihadist who believes in global warming and worships at the altar socialism, TH2 is quite sure that the municipal council will bend over backwards to accommodate.
There probably is no God. Life is short and harsh. Life is also meaningless. There is no good or bad. Just nothing. Man must make his own meaning for existing? Hardly. There is no standard by which to measure life's worth. So it has none. Millions upon millions of aborted children is the proof. Nietzche and Sarte are right. Now it's time to go out and blow my head off.
. . . the ultimate wisdom of Atheism. If there really is no God, then any other conclusion about life is a fatuous delusion.
"Toronto the Good", as it was called by former Toronto mayor, Mel Lastman. What a joke! FYI the majority of Canadians hate Torontonians and Torontonians sincerely believe that they are the centre of the known universe. Take it from me a former Torontonian.
