The simple question is should government in any way be involved in making death decisons. If they do not, but sign on to pay for any type of care on our dime, is that going to work? I have an issue with all government programs for exactly that reason. I hate medicare, medicaid, and all other government healthcare programs. But we will never see the end to them and when we made a pact with the devil in federal and state governments, we invited them into our living rooms, our churches, and our lives. You can't be partially pregnant. We do everything now like this such as sending troops to war without declaring war and funding the war with bonds as we did in WWII. Keeping war as the last resort happens that way and it continues only as long as you have the support of the public not only with polls, but with their own money. We must keep control on what we want the government doing and what they need to stay out of. I think we should have to have a 67% vote majority for the government to take on anything new and then have the supreme court review it only as it applies to the exact constitution.
