Parents are being banned from playing with their children in council recreation areas because they have not been vetted by police.
Mothers and fathers are being forced to watch their children from outside perimeter fences because of fears they could be paedophiles. Watford Council was branded a 'disgrace' yesterday after excluding parents from two fenced-off adventure playgrounds unless they first undergo criminal record checks.
Children as young as five will instead be supervised by council 'play rangers' who have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau. Councillors insist they are merely following Government regulations and cannot allow adults to walk around playgrounds 'unchecked'.
But furious parents attacked the move and threatened to boycott the playgrounds. Concerns were raised last night that other councils around the country are adopting similar policies amid confusion over Government rules and increasing hysteria over child protection.

What next? You can't watch your own kids at home for the same reason? Between the thought police, anti-social behavior orders & this the Mother Country is fast becoming a socialist dictatorship that Stalin only dreamed of.
Al - don't give them any ideas. How the hell are they going to insure latent or presently active pedophiles aren't going to sign up to be these rangers?
It's time parents rebelled, or they will rip our children from us at the moment of birth.
I went to take a photo of my baby laughing and taking a bath... and thought better of it! Who knows WHAT would happen to me if anyone saw that photograph! "PEDOPHILE!!!!"

Amy, I'm not trying to give them ideas, I am afraid they are already on that track.
As for your other question, if International Planned Parenthood gets its way, you won't. They have called for a complete ban on background checks for teachers etc, & what they are attempting to protect the children from will be condoned.
IMHO it is about time for Gabriel to start warming up his trumpet.
