I liked both videos.
Me, I'm from Detroit. That means I don't accord "Sweet Home Alabama" the respect given to the national anthem of an allied and neighboring nation, the way my wife does. Thus, I enjoy it as the most faithful version of it that the Leningrad Cowboys and the Red Army Chorus could produce. And that they are so faithful is very cool.
The lead singer of Hayseed Dixie reminds me of my brother in law. I think they're great.
