Might I suggest: "Slaves of the not-so-immaculate heart of Caveman"?
. . . or the U. S. Marine Corps spiritual auxiliary bloglodytes . . . .
I never added the gadget - it just showed up one day. Still wondering where it came from.
when can we see it, oh great leader, your tatoodness, we wait with baited breath, (whatever the hell that means) ;>)
LOL!!!! These comments are killin' me!!!!!!
'Gipshin,
Unless you have a hook in your lip and someone is ready to throw you to the sharks, that's "bated" breath.
Color me stupid... I always thought it was "baited", too. I've learned something new today!! Being a word-nerd, I like finding things out like this.
(Now I just gotta find out what the hell "bated" means. Anything to do with Kathy Bates, Norman Bates? I hope she hoesn't hobble me, or he slices and dices me.)
You follow your doctor's advice, Cavey. We want you around for a good long time. Besides, he's probably a Navy doctor! LOL
Adeo,
He's actually a ex-Army puke. But he's kept me alive thus far... so I guess he's OK!
FWIW, here's the saga of the almost dead Cavey;

You take care, Cavey! There was an Orthodox priest-monk, who died of something similar, though not exactly the same thing as you had. Someday I believe the RO Church or its ROCOR branch will glorify him at the altar (canonization). I may be an old, troglodytic, RC traditionalist, but I really admire this Orthodox monk.
(Now I just gotta find out what the hell "bated" means.
Greetings, fellow word nerd. Perhaps it would be better to spell this with an apostrophe, like this: 'bated. I think it is a contraction of the word "abate," which means to lessen or suppress.
So to say, "I waiting with 'bated breath" means the same as, "I'm holding my breath."
